“Really nice, friendly coffee shop. Easy to access with street parking out front and a few parking spaces at the back off West 2nd Street. The staff are gracious even when very busy, and the beautiful courtyard tucked away at the back has lovely seating and landscaping. My scone was fresh and delicious. My cappuccino was nice but not excellent. I would rate it a 7/10. It was closer to a latte in strength and it had chocolate sprinkled on top (not what coffee snobs like me expect). The only other drawback was the easy-listening rock music (playing at a moderate volume). They did turn it down at my request but it was turned back up after five minutes. I would have preferred just to sit quietly listening to the birds. But don’t let those two minor points deter you from visiting: it’s a lovely spot and I’ll certainly be back.“

“Best coffee we've had in Western Canada. Every visit I grab 5lbs, sometimes 10lbs to bring home to Calgary, depending on the two friends who agree whom I supply as well.Staff always smiling and friendly- I stop in every trip (every two months). Love it!“

“From the moment we entered Bistro 694 we knew we were in a special place. We were greeted warmly by Nancy, one of the owners, (Doubling as our incredible server) and led to a lovely window table with soft candle lighting and pleasing background music. It got even better from here! We were treated to complimentary warm bread, butter, balsamic dip and olives, including delicious gluten free bread for me. Our choice of an appetizer was to share a regular sized Caesar salad. It was absolutely the best Caesar I have ever tasted, with home made dressing, the perfect amount of fresh parmesan cheese with the croutons on the side for my husband. Our dinners were served piping hot, with mine being the decadent and delicious Chicken with Walnuts and Gorgonzola, every vegetable cooked to crisp perfection. My husband enjoyed the equally delicious Linguine Prosciutto. My only disappointment is that we had not experienced this fabulous Bistro before this time. If I could score higher than 5 I would! Thank you to Nancy and Tony for a very special birthday dinner. Looking forward to our next visit soon!“

“Not that they need another 5 star review! Had a nice long walk at Rathtrevor park and came in here afterwards for coffee and lunch. We had the cheese and spinach scone, the Reuben and a bowl of the creamy tomato soup. Place was absolutely packed, people sitting everywhere, staff on full tilt making food and coffee. We found seats at the communal table and within 5 mins our food was up. This place has a prep station and a kitchen stove from someone's house but they were killing it. Anyone who can make a good Cortado gets a 5 in my book! Thank you and we hope to come back next time! (Also I forgot to mention they sell coffee beans and cups etc all the gear you need for home brewing and even offer a free class on how to get perfect taste at home )“

“Bradley's Bistro is my favorite place to have lunch with my 92 year old Mother. They have an excellent selection of sandwiches, soups, wraps, pastries, desserts and more. Their coffee is excellent. The staff are always warm and welcoming. The ambiance is great whether sitting outside or at one of their window tables. Definitely a delicious treat of Parksville“

“We love this place! I have never had a bad meal there, the service has always been wonderful, and the timing on point- which is a tough thing sometimes when it's only run by 1 or 2 people. The breakfasts are so good and they have the best pancakes I've ever had! Also, I've had some of the most wonderful and authentic conversations spark up with strangers at other tables. This place is a gem and Parksville is lucky to have it serving the community!“

“I came here with some family friends from out of town on Friday May 26th. We got to the ice cream parlor and I wanted to give a shout out to the female staff member that was working on her own that day. She had a line up the entire time we were there and the composure this young lady showed under pressure was immense. We all commented on this and even popped back in when we were leaving to see if she had received and help and thankfully she had. As a restaurant Manger in Vancouver I was very impressed and would simply like to let you know that she should be rewarded for the hard work she was putting in. The prices were fair and the final product was amazing. Needless to say the kids were very happy. Thanks for a great experience!“
