“Went for coffee-it was so good-half of us ended up having breakfast! They said best hash browns ever!My scone was yummy and I had a half sweet London Fog-the seating was amazing-the outdoor spots were lovely!Parking: Prob spots for 10 cars or so out front-but the cafe can be accessed by a walking/bike trail so lots of folk won’t need a parking spot. The cafe is along the Ladysmith to Chemainus walking/biking trail that goes by Stocking Creek“
“I drive all the way from Coombs to have one of their fresh baked pastries. Awesome organic coffee too.The staff here go above and beyond.Set in or outside of a beautiful heritage building, it’s like a special event that you could go to every day . Prices are very reasonable too.“
“Love the curry beef but the the old hag working there is horrible, I don't normally leave a tip for pick up orders but I figured the food is good but not again. She has yet to thank me for the tips. I'm not cheap and always give 20%. Never has she thanked me. The woman who retired when covid hit was amazing. She used to joke about about delivering to my home in Vancouver by paddling her canoe, lol. Night and day with customer service“
“Wonderful atmosphere and amazing service from keelie and much better experience than my last visit with the male server. He seems very uninvolved and doesnt interact much with the customers well. His customer was poor. All around amazing place to be and plan on returning. %110 recommended checking them out!“
“Crystal & her staff have an amazing little cafe. They are very personable & make you feel welcomed. The food is always packed with flavor & It’s never a disappointment when we get lunch or snacks. The price is very well worth what you get. I would suggest this place to anyone wanting real food with sustenance & made with passion/love.Great job ladies & thank you for being here for the community“
“We stopped in on our vacation to British Columbia at Ladysmith to have breakfast. Wild Poppy was our choice . I felt like I was in heaven seeing all the gluten and dairy free choices. The food was excellent and the staff super friendly . I was hoping the Wild Poppy Market would open a store in Sault Ste. Marie , Ontario. What a blessing that would be. Thank you“
“First and foremost, I love how each chocolate pearl is hand-made with exceptional attention to detail. These Halloween chocolates are the perfect example. I love the strawberry mummies and the pumpkin spice caramel pearls. Highly recommended!!“
“Love this Cafe. Been enjoying their taste food for quite literally decades ! Stopped in for lunch recently-- did NOT disappoint- delish as ever. John and Micki continue to provide wonderful food with a diverse menu to the "regulars" and new guests alike. ?“
“Stopped here for breakfast thinking “okayyyy so cedrick’s might be alriiiight??” and BOY were we blown away. Our dear server served us up eggs fresh as can be and scrumptious coffee that swept us off our feet …. I would say we are head over heels for this place … deliciously located next to an epic thrift store …. Total game changer, this Cedrick’s. Kept us powered up for at least 80 km of biking at record speeds!“
“First time and would definitely go again. The Owl's Nest is a warm feels like home bistro, nestled in the heart of Chemainus. You'll feel relaxed and a little taken back, with the country like decor...(making me think back to when being at my Nana's house as a kid)A relaxing/chill vibe the moment you open the door. The aroma of fresh brewed coffee, the smells of home cooked bakery and other dishes, will have you wanting to return again and again.“
