“We were honestly losing hope after eating out so much lately… but OZ completely surprised us in the best way.

Service was great from start to finish. We ordered the pork bone soup + chicken katsu combo, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best chicken katsu I’ve ever had. We did the half-and-half, including the onion cream chicken, and wow. The chicken was insanely juicy—my boyfriend pointed out it’s probably because they use chicken thigh, and yep, it is thigh. You can really tell they actually care about the quality of the chicken.

They also had promotions going on, so our total bill came out to around $60, which is crazy for the amount and quality of food we got. Everything tasted fresh, comforting, and well done.

I genuinely can’t hype this place enough. It caught us completely off guard, in the best way. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’re bringing the kiddos too.“

“This is my third time coming to this restaurant, that says something. All korean chicken restaurants I’ve been to, this was the best in terms of taste and value of your money. The serving is big compare to other korean chicken restaurants.“

“Oolala Chicken is way better when you dine in rather than getting takeout or delivery.

I tried the new Machoking flavor (BHC-style Machoking), and it was so good I literally scraped the sauce clean. It officially became my new favourite!! I used to love the mala flavour, but this one took its place.

Sometimes there can be a slight smell with chicken, but ordering strong-flavored options like mala or Machoking really covers it well and makes it much better overall.
Highly recommend dining in for the best experience.“

“My husband and I had been a frequent customer since this establishment opened, and the quality of the food has never disappointed. I also want to give a special shout-out to the staff (girl with glasses- i'm sorry i didn't get your name) at the counter. Though I initially misunderstood her demeanor, she is actually very kind and dedicated. It’s clear she works incredibly hard, and I truly appreciate the service she provides. “I highly recommend their chicken marinades. Nice variety, very flavourful and very fresh. The chicken always cooks wonderfully. The gentlemen there are always attentive and kind to me, as well.

Most recently during a visit, there was a miscommunication (which was my fault) asking about the breasts being sliced to allow the marinade to fully envelope the chicken (which they do to all the chicken breasts) and the man assisting me thought I wanted the chicken breast further sliced into smaller pieces. He left momentarily and went to do this for me, but then when I discovered what happened, they allowed me to take the other intact breasts and said they will find a use for the other chicken that was cut. A very kind gesture to accommodate my preference even though it was my fault. They’ve earned a loyal patron in me. Thanks again!“

“We are regulars at your establishment and we always have a fantastic time. We have followed you from when you were in Abbotsford and are thrilled that you're in Langley because we live in Surrey. Dustin was our server as he has been many times before and he always makes the service enjoyable and personal. We have also been served by Keith many times and he makes sure to remember not only our drinks that we like to order, but also to pay pay special attention to our 5-year-old daughter. We would love to meet the owner sometime and tell him how much. His restaurant has had an impact on our family and it is rare to see customer service these days delivered at such a consistent level. “I just ordered a 3 piece meal and received 2 drumsticks and a thigh (brutal). One piece was fine the other 2 were cold and had been sitting awhile. The fries were the worst I've had, they were under heat lamp I'm sure for at least a couple of hours they tasted like day old French fries. this was the Maple Ridge location which just opened, so maybe they were working out the kinks.“
