“Friend of mine EX Hockey Teammate of mine was in town and we decided to get together and meet at the Mariner Brewing Company.

It's been awhile since I've been in to the Brewery, but just like the last time it was awesome. We sat outside on a nice day to tell lies and share stories of days gone by.

I had a flight to start then really enjoyed the Mango Ale and Pint it was lol. We decided to order some Wings ( Outstanding by the way ) I had the Mango Habanero ones ( actually not as Hot as you would think ) but they were outstanding. Actually they paired up nicely with my Mango Ale. Friend of mine had the regular Hot Wing's and really enjoyed them.

While we were sitting outside we kept noticing all the amazing looking food coming from the food truck. Everything looked amazing, with great presentation as well.

So seeing all of the amazing food coming out definitely piqued my interest. So on Tuesday I brought my Mom in for Lunch. And we were so glad that we did. We both had the Smash Burgers with Bacon and Cheese added. And Holy 💩 they were simply outstanding 🤤😋👍👍

From what we were seeing all the food looked spectacular with great presentation as well.

Definitely don't hesitate to go to the Mariner Brewing Company, you'll be disappointed if you did...

Portion size was generous without being overwhelming, and it’s exactly the kind of meal you can enjoy without feeling weighed down afterward. For something new on the menu, Denny’s really nailed this one. I’d definitely order it again!“

Willoughby is Absolutely Beautiful, so well thoughtout, laidout, great colors, fabulous decor. The Food,... well i had the brunch lunch steak and eggs taco. Thats Right, sweet jesus,.SO GOOD. “My partner and I arranged to have high tea today and the experience was just PERFECT 👌. They had a table setup for us in the corner where there was lots of natural light from outside and the table just looked so cutely prepared for us. The staff were very friendly and quick to assist us. We chose the Strawberry Sundae tea which was infused with so many flavours making it very delightful to sip on. And when the bakery items were brought over there was a good assortment of yummy foods. The top of the tier was all of the desserts and the bottom was all of the pastries. Both of us did get a bit of a sugar rush, to be expected of a bakery haha. We both highly recommend Cassandra Cake Co. for high tea as well as any custom bakery requests.“

I simply have to share our fantastic experience with the Columbia Street Sandwich Company in New Westminster! When my son Adam got married on July 5th, we had a large wedding party staying at the Inn at the Quai, and the morning-of fueling was a top priority. We needed a vendor who could not only prepare delicious breakfast and lunch but also deliver it precisely on time to our hotel. And let me tell you, Sam, the owner, and her incredible team absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Breakfast was a dream come true for ten hungry people getting ready for the big day: a perfect combination of delicious breakfast sandwiches, fresh baked goods, a vibrant fresh fruit plate, and a carafe of piping hot coffee. The best part? Sam herself delivered it right on schedule!

Lunch was equally impressive, featuring a delightful mix of mini croissant sandwiches, a hearty veggie plate, and a refreshing assortment of water and juices to wash it all down. And again, delivered on time by Sam!

Shiny Things is a long-time classic that never misses, and even their lagers – which are often boring elsewhere – are exceptional here. Consistently outstanding brews in a great setting.“

I must say they were both amazing, and the prices are very affordable! All of their products are homemade. The atmosphere was very bright, cozy and inviting. The bathrooms were very clean and nice smelling( including the hand soap). when I walked in, I was greeted by Kate who not only told me about all the products but we ended up having a full on conversation! It was very pleasant talking with her, Kate brang my food to me plus asked if I wanted anything else. This is the true meaning of customer service; these days it’s hard to find! “Every time I come, I come for one thing and one thing only: the full rack of ribs. These ribs are massive, and in my opinion, the best bang for your buck. It's juicy but firm, yet falls off the bone so easily. My preferred sauce is their maple cajun honey and has yet to disappoint me. The selection of sides is also a big plus with so much variety, though my go to side is their bacon cheddar smashed potatoes. You also get their coleslaw, a bit of the rice, and corn bread. Since the meal is so big, it can easily feed you for 2-3 meals. Overall, I would definitely come back and order this again. Sometimes I feel like I should try something else on my next visit, but I don't come often enough to make me decide that I'm gonna try something else when I know those ribs are an option. I would say though, the other meals from what I've seen have also looked very good. I highly recommend their ribs though!“

“Had lunch here for the first time today. Asked owner, Pindy what’s popular and based on that we had a small Meat Lovers pizza, Carbonara pasta and a small order of Gar-Parm wings. Pizza dough is made fresh daily, hand stretched and topped in front of you. Everything was cooked in the fast fire oven lending that slight smoky flavour with the pasta perfectly cooked and creamy, wings crispy outside yet moist and tender inside and the charred thin crust pizza well presented. If you like a crispier bottom crust ask them for well done. Every Monday they offer a 2-topping small pizza for $5 (no limit). On the side counter, they offer a variety of olive oils, seasonings, hot sauces, parmesan and chili flake to name a few that customers can add before eating or taking away. Lots of beverages offered, with indoor seating and tv for viewing games. All forms of food delivery are offered. Parking can be limited as it shares the corner with another franchise but there’s also mall parking behind. This Toronto franchise is owner/operated by a local ND family. Support, Shop, Buy Local !“

“Great brewery with a chill atmosphere!
Plenty of parking, clean space, and a choice between indoor seating or a nice outdoor patio. The beer selection was solid, with options ranging from light lagers to IPAs. We ordered the popcorn, chicken wings, and poutine everything was tasty, especially the wings but I do wish there were a few more food options on the menu. Staff was friendly and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I’d definitely drop in again if I’m in the area.“

“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood. They offer great options for pour over coffee, and during my recent visit, they had two different espresso bean choices as well. Their pastries are amazing; the almond croissant I had was large and definitely worth the price.

The music can be a bit loud, so it might not be the best spot for a business meeting or studying, but it’s still a great place to visit. The only area for improvement would be their customer service.“

“I had the Pav Bhaji the other Day.. on the Plate .. They Serve Bhaji on the small section of the Plate and Paav on the bigger one.. They don't even put Lemon Slice to squeeze in Bhaji.. The Bhaji is just Ok.. Since they must've used the Pav Bhaji Masala .. If you Don't know how to serve Bombay Style Paav Bhaji.. Just see some YouTube Videos and Google Images on Plating style.. When I spoke with Manager or Owner (The Bearded gentleman in Regular Clothes and not in Restaurant Uniform)... He just diplomatically explained that they have changed the "PLATES" recently.. Really !! Kids can come with better excuse.. I'd Rather go to other places at least for Pav Bhaji.. Today I went for Sev Puri and yea that was decent .. but not Praiseworthy ..“

“Top tier semi hidden bar! It's a bit of a time capsule to an older-Van style, unpretentious sports-bar roadhouse type place. The location is unusual, sort of at the basement of an apartment complex on a road you've never been to before, situated on an urban residential cul-de-sac, giving the bar a sheen of surreality.

With many pool tables, lots of tables, two big screens for 2 different games to watch, and good prices for beer, I'd be here all the time if it was local to me.

Special mention for the food: had the chef's special lasanga last night and it was so good ordered a second dinner to try!
