“My partner and I arranged to have high tea today and the experience was just PERFECT 👌. They had a table setup for us in the corner where there was lots of natural light from outside and the table just looked so cutely prepared for us. The staff were very friendly and quick to assist us. We chose the Strawberry Sundae tea which was infused with so many flavours making it very delightful to sip on. And when the bakery items were brought over there was a good assortment of yummy foods. The top of the tier was all of the desserts and the bottom was all of the pastries. Both of us did get a bit of a sugar rush, to be expected of a bakery haha. We both highly recommend Cassandra Cake Co. for high tea as well as any custom bakery requests.“

I simply have to share our fantastic experience with the Columbia Street Sandwich Company in New Westminster! When my son Adam got married on July 5th, we had a large wedding party staying at the Inn at the Quai, and the morning-of fueling was a top priority. We needed a vendor who could not only prepare delicious breakfast and lunch but also deliver it precisely on time to our hotel. And let me tell you, Sam, the owner, and her incredible team absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Breakfast was a dream come true for ten hungry people getting ready for the big day: a perfect combination of delicious breakfast sandwiches, fresh baked goods, a vibrant fresh fruit plate, and a carafe of piping hot coffee. The best part? Sam herself delivered it right on schedule!

Lunch was equally impressive, featuring a delightful mix of mini croissant sandwiches, a hearty veggie plate, and a refreshing assortment of water and juices to wash it all down. And again, delivered on time by Sam!

Beyond the fantastic food, the value for dollars spent was truly exceptional. Sam was the epitome of professionalism, never once trying to upsell us or push for more than we needed. She genuinely cared that everything went smoothly, and it absolutely did.

“This is my second time coming to sweet talk, the previous time I had a mini egg donut, this time I had their egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I must say they were both amazing, and the prices are very affordable! All of their products are homemade. The atmosphere was very bright, cozy and inviting. The bathrooms were very clean and nice smelling( including the hand soap). when I walked in, I was greeted by Kate who not only told me about all the products but we ended up having a full on conversation! It was very pleasant talking with her, Kate brang my food to me plus asked if I wanted anything else. This is the true meaning of customer service; these days it’s hard to find! “Every time I come, I come for one thing and one thing only: the full rack of ribs. These ribs are massive, and in my opinion, the best bang for your buck. It's juicy but firm, yet falls off the bone so easily. My preferred sauce is their maple cajun honey and has yet to disappoint me. The selection of sides is also a big plus with so much variety, though my go to side is their bacon cheddar smashed potatoes. You also get their coleslaw, a bit of the rice, and corn bread. Since the meal is so big, it can easily feed you for 2-3 meals. Overall, I would definitely come back and order this again. Sometimes I feel like I should try something else on my next visit, but I don't come often enough to make me decide that I'm gonna try something else when I know those ribs are an option. I would say though, the other meals from what I've seen have also looked very good. I highly recommend their ribs though!“

Plenty of parking, clean space, and a choice between indoor seating or a nice outdoor patio. The beer selection was solid, with options ranging from light lagers to IPAs. We ordered the popcorn, chicken wings, and poutine everything was tasty, especially the wings but I do wish there were a few more food options on the menu. Staff was friendly and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I’d definitely drop in again if I’m in the area.“

The Bhaji is just Ok.. Since they must've used the Pav Bhaji Masala .. If you Don't know how to serve Bombay Style Paav Bhaji.. Just see some YouTube Videos and Google Images on Plating style.. When I spoke with Manager or Owner (The Bearded gentleman in Regular Clothes and not in Restaurant Uniform)... He just diplomatically explained that they have changed the "PLATES" recently.. Really !! Kids can come with better excuse.. I'd Rather go to other places at least for Pav Bhaji.. Today I went for Sev Puri and yea that was decent .. but not Praiseworthy ..“

“Top tier semi hidden bar! It's a bit of a time capsule to an older-Van style, unpretentious sports-bar roadhouse type place. The location is unusual, sort of at the basement of an apartment complex on a road you've never been to before, situated on an urban residential cul-de-sac, giving the bar a sheen of surreality.

With many pool tables, lots of tables, two big screens for 2 different games to watch, and good prices for beer, I'd be here all the time if it was local to me.

Special mention for the food: had the chef's special lasanga last night and it was so good ordered a second dinner to try!
