Just a suggestion that they should display pictures of the food or put their menu on their store front window for display as I notice some people passing by not knowing what they offer as some people don’t know what tonkatsu is. After finish8ng my meal and waiting for my husband to get the car, I noticed some tourists walking by looking around to see if they could find the menu or something at the door but nothing was available.“

“Service is really good. Highly recommended. The meat in barbecue combo is nice- tender and tasty, especially the marinated pork and beef, though the portion can be more.

Tofu kimchi soup and the vegetable salad that came along with the barbecue combo were really good!

The portion of small Gamjatang is generous, though I feel the taste is average.

They took care of the bill and understood that I had made an honest mistake. The manager Micheal was very understanding. It shows how well they take care of their costumers.“

The 2 Korean lady servers were excellent and kept our tea full even though it was a busy lunch time.

I had dynamite roll as well as chicken teriyaki roll, both were huge and delicious. I asked for extra ginger and wasabi - and was given generous huge helping of ginger and a spoonful of wasabi - thank you! Another party ordered the beef teriyaki box and couldn’t finish due to portion size.

Both meals were served quickly and came well prepared. Will come again!“

“I came to this restaurant on a random afternoon, and it's still full. You can tell it's a good place. I would recommend coming with a group of people because their dishes are not offered in small portions.

“Beef/chashu (pork belly) bao: I liked the soft bao here. It seemed unique and proved to be delicious with a mild wasabi sauce. (At least that is what it tasted like)

Korroke: fried yam with mayo. It was filling.

Beef Don: it was quite flavourful and I felt it had a generous amount of rice. The beef could have been less salty but in the end it goes well with the rice portion. Well done.

“Me & Ed’s is the best pizza place in the neighborhood! We’ve ordered about 20 pizzas from here, and our favourite is the smoked salmon pizza with roasted garlic. If they had a fidelity/points program for regular customers, we would give them 5 stars.“

We ordered the Brisket and rare beef noodle.
Noodle was good, not over cooked. Soup base is a little on the lighter side but it is acceptable.
Soup/noodle proportion is good.
The rare beef is cooked by the time it was served so this may need to be addressed
Brisket is good.
The noodle house could use A/C especially in the summer. We visited this time during late afternoon at about 26degree and we were sweating.
Otherwise the experience is good.“

“This is my 4 or 5th time taking out food and I finally decided leave a review. Best bang for your buck for Japanese food in the Coquitlam center area, and dare I say even in the Tri Cities. You can get chicken teriyaki for $12.95 with plenty of meat and veges, enough to fill you up. The Korean-style spicy chirashi don is the best value that I've seen so far - $15.95 for a huge and delicious meal.

“Been eating here for years. Love the cozy cafe atmosphere. Don’t expect a fancy restaurant, just a simple small neighborhood cafe that serves up good food. “I always have had a good experience in the 15 years I’ve been coming here. Heidi and all the staff are wonderful. I love supporting them and seeing everyone. The large portions for dinner are incredible for the price!!! I always have left overs. I love that they offer many vegetarian options too. They offer many Canadian-Chinese dishes and traditional Chinese dishes with some Canadian/American favourites (like hamburgers). I recommend the mushroom fried rice, onion pancakes (it’s like rosti), or the bean spout chow mein... especially with the chili oil they offer at each table. But the big plate of broccoli in garlic sauce is my favorite if you want something light but filling. They also offer it with Chinese broccoli. My friends and family love the daily specials and combo plates... if you don’t want a big plate of 1 big thing, the combos plates let you get 3 of the main dishes: a fried rice, a chow mein, sweet and sour pork or chicken, etc. For Family dinners they even offer a family combo “dinner for 2/4/6/etc” and have different daily specials. They also offer breakfast, dim sum, wonton soup, and other items. I also recommend their french fries. They SO good but they always come fresh hot and crispy. (Just really good simple fries.) They used to be known as the Austin Heights Diner (1989-2013) if you’ve been a longtime resident of coquitlam, I urge you visit them at their new location.“

Had their rice noodle with beef and always loved the authenticity of the charred taste. Definitely one of the best in Coquitlam that even rivals those of Richmond.

“Our group ordered a variety of foods, including the bacon fried rice, golden chicken, honey garlic chicken, cheesy rice balls, gyoza, and cheese corn. In our defense: we shared.
The portions were surprisingly large and the food was very fresh. Both chicken dishes were great but the bacon fried rice was the hands down favorite.
We spent more time than we expected for how slow it was. No regrets though - we'll plan extra time in on our next visit.“

“I visited IKEA Saudi Arabia many times during my stay there n then South Korea. And this evening I was at IKEA Coquitlam Canada. I always enjoy visiting IKEA all the places because of its keeping n offering excellent quality goods - mainly furniture - at reasonable n affordable prices. And today again it was a great experience visiting there at IKEA with my daughter n family members. We enjoyed shopping there n bought many good things. We even bought a Pakistan made twin-size duvet cover with pillow cover though I came here just two weeks back from there, though I bought a Turkish made one because of their high quality fabric and thread count. And as usual we enjoyed dining there as we never found it expensive though IKEA always offer good quality meals and its large dining area is always almost full with people from all around the world. My most favourite dish here at IKEA Coquitlam was Fish with Chips as was in South Korea. While at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia it was Hummus and Omelette while there mostly Saudi women visit just to eat high value food of their choice. And it was another good attraction for dinning people at IKEA Canada to have pleasure of taking free tea n coffee after easy n free membership. MORE POWER TO IKEA -Worldwide ❤️“
