“Highlight of my day: “I’m just going to very un-subtly place my Korean cigarette box here to show everyone I was in / have been to Korea, because even though I’m eating alone I came here to feel or recreate a sense of belonging and nostalgia for where I [taught English; studied briefly; went on vacay; insert any other less likely scenario in order of highest to least probability]. I hope you notice it and think “wow this guy was in Korea I wanna be just like him! I’ll never be cool.” Please notice me. *sniff*”

What’s funnier is that I don’t know if the box is empty or he just takes his Canadian classics, pall malls, or reserve rolls and then uses them to refill this box so he can strategically place them on the table at every Korean resto he goes to.

Had snow onion chicken but thought the sauce was just okay.“

“I'm completely satisfied with this restaurant. The food is amazing, the staff is respectful and caring, and the LCD on the tables provides privacy. I highly recommend it. Parking is limited, but there's usually space in the alley at night.“

It was quite fast despite being really busy. I prefer takeout from here as the seating for the food court is usually packed.

This time tried the chicken nuggets + rice set meal this came with veggies ,egg and tofu for $14. Chicken is always really fresh , hot and crispy.
Like most stalls it is cash only ( or wechat/ alipay I think ). Sometimes they also have offers / coupons through Fantuan app even for pickup.“

“Amazing delicious fresh off the grill food. Perfect taste and spicy level as per request. Staff is super amazing, really welcoming and happy faces all around. I really recommend the location, a must try especially the chocolate cake 🎂.plus point everything was clean“

9/10: Corn ribs (great flavour), cauliflower bites (still crispy when I got home!), cole slaw (super fresh, crunchy)

8/10: Peri chicken (good well-rounded heat), mashed potatoes (nice, a bit bland)

“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. “Most of the menu is decent, the chicken was way better than expected.

Choice of bone-in or boneless and dry rub or sauce. The chicken was very moist and tasted great. Their dukbokki was also really nice.

Vegetarian options: Deep fried cauliflower, fries, and a handful of other non-meat options.“

“Have visited this Nandos many times and most times have found it very busy. We either dine in or do take out. Doing a review for my recent visit on June 7 th . Decided to dine in with my partner. There was a long line up at the cash register and all the tables were occupied except for two that needed to be cleaned. The very long table was partly available. The manager helped us at the cash register. Friendly service, she did mention about the new feature the spring platter as well as signing up for points. I did download the app and joined up. We ordered two hand held - the chicken sandwich with one side and veggie with two sides - Peri fries and salad. We got a table soon and food arrived after 20 mins which is not bad considering how busy they were. A server did come and check on us half way through our meal to find out how was the food. The food is always top notch and that’s the reason we keep returning. Love this particular location as its ambience is very nice for dine in. I gave four stars for service as often I notice tables are not cleaned and dirty dishes not removed soon enough. I think more staffing could be added for on the floor service and keeping tables clean and available.
They did thank us when we left which is a huge plus !! Will continue visiting this place.“

“This fried chicken restaurant is a delicious paradise! Each piece of fried chicken is crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, the heat is just right, the skin is golden and crisp, and the gravy inside is tender and juicy. The seasoning is very delicious, neither too salty, nor will cover up the delicious chicken itself. Whether it is plain or various flavors of spices, the flavor is very unique, and each bite is memorable. The service in the store is also particularly intimate, the staff are warm and friendly, and the environment is clean and comfortable. This is definitely the best fried chicken place I have ever eaten, highly recommend!“

We got the Half and Half of Soy Garlic and Buldak (spicy)... whoooaaa. those were so good!

All the kids grabbed the food before I could take a picture lol.

Price was good.

“Salman was our cashier at the Lansdowne mall. He was very courteous, polite, friendly, and great at his job. This location knows how to run there restaurant.

Parking: Park by the toys r us at Lansdowne mall and you'll find the food court.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to maneuver a wheelchair in this food court.“

They’re busy when I came to buy half order of original chicken for my lunch but I’m glad that I was informed about the waiting time and suggested to order by phone next time to save time as their waiting may range from 10 to 25 mins.“

“Crystal Mall is my favourite food court but I came across this place on a whim.. it’s a pretty non descript storefront and the chicken tenders took about 15-20 min of time . But yea.. the chicken was juicy with a nice crispy batter . Probably the best chicken (non Korean style ) that we’ve had . We will be back :)“

“I was here not long ago and my card wasn’t tapping so the manager I think, told me that there was a problem with that batch of cards and told me if I call my bank they would send me a new one and then he made us a fresh batch of drumsticks and he was so nice!“

“I love Chicko Chicken. The locations are pretty consistent, too. Everything is cooked nicely. The fries taste good. Love the pickled radish. Minus 1 star because the green onions are not always fresh so I stopped ordering them. Other than that it's a solid place“

“I've been going here for a few years now. The service has always been great and the food is always done to my liking. I usually get take out and have received the wrong sides once or twice, but other than that the experience has been great.“

“I used to go all the way to surrey and richmond for churchs chicken as i was unfamiliar with this brand. As of recently the quality of churchs has declined and i finally tried mary browns. To my surprise its pretty darn good. Its not as juicy as churchs but churchs gets too soft sometimes and has stopped changing their oil as often resulting in a greasy and bitter batter. Dont even get me started on kfc lol“

“I just ordered a 3 piece meal and received 2 drumsticks and a thigh (brutal). One piece was fine the other 2 were cold and had been sitting awhile. The fries were the worst I've had, they were under heat lamp I'm sure for at least a couple of hours they tasted like day old French fries. this was the Maple Ridge location which just opened, so maybe they were working out the kinks.“

“First off, this is a take-out restaurant but not fast food! It will take 20 minutes to prepare your order. Believe me, it is worth the wait! I will recommend that you order online or call in your order in advance. The food is delicious. I have not tried all the menu items yet, but I am looking forward to the next one!“
