While I’m running around at work.I hope the owner does his part and improves the food quality just a little bit more so than he can have everything a good restaurant should. They are almost there. “I love love love this place. I've only ever done Doordash so I have no idea what it's like inside or if the people who run it are nice, but they seriously stuff those takeout containers with delicious food so they're definitely generous. The mixed chicken/beef platter is my favorite, but we also love the tabblouleh. The rice is in the platter is wonderful. It looks pretty standard, even a little boring (it looks like it's going to be flavourless), but it is seasoned so nicely and is always cooked perfectly. The meats are super flavourful and have crispy edges, and the hummus and little salad that come with the platter are both perfect. The value is great - you get a lot of food for around $20, so much that we always have leftovers. My new Doordash favourite!“

“I've been to many Pakistani restaurants but Karakoram Restaurant stands out for its authentic flavors and generous portions. The karahi was spicy and savory, and the basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant. The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. The donair was packed with lamb and the typical donair wrap ingredients; I enjoyed this. Oh, but the fries! The fries are just crispy and pairs extremely well with the garlic sauce dip.“

“One of the best donairs I've had in a while, I ordered a mix lamb and beef. The donair was wrapped tightly with fresh and very delcious meat and vegetables. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice asethic. Very kind service as well.

I live in the neighborhood, and actual get take out there a few times a week. I do like me some donair meat, and every once in a while I go on a rampage lol. I usually get the beef platter, but I've been known to get the chicken, lamb or a combo. It's good food, what more can an honest donair fan ask for? “I don’t normally leave reviews for fast food spots since my experiences are usually quick and easy, but I left this location today (Sept 8, around 4:45pm) feeling a bit disappointed.

While ordering, the staff member preparing my food added pickles, which I hadn’t asked for. When I mentioned it, he thought I had requested them. I really dislike pickles and always make sure to leave them out, and since they were chopped and wrapped inside, it wasn’t something I could just remove.

What stood out most to me was the interaction. In my own work in restaurants, I’ve found it goes a long way to simply apologize and make the correction, rather than debating with the guest (he seemed really annoyed with me). The food was remade, which I appreciated, but the exchange left me feeling uncomfortable and not as positive about the experience overall.

As a suggestion, it might help to double-check with customers before finalizing toppings and perhaps adjust the tipping option so it appears after service is provided. I think those changes would really improve the guest experience.“
