“I heard Moncton Pizzeria opened about a year ago, and a few friends kept telling me to give it a try. When I searched for pizza places in Steveston on Google Maps, I noticed this one had the highest rating even though it’s fairly new.
When I lined up, I planned to just grab 2 slices and a pop, but after seeing all the different kinds of pizzas on display, I couldn’t resist and ended up with 4 slices 🤣. Totally worth it every bite was super delicious!
The only small downside is that seating is limited. We had a hard time finding a spot, and some people were eating outside in front of the store. But honestly, the pizza makes up for it.
Definitely recommend this place to everyone, it’s a must try in Steveston!“

“Uncle faiths pizza in Richmond is located on a bus only street... after typing their location in our GPS to pickup the ordered pizza, it led us to an abandoned parking lot. Called Uncle Faiths pizza to get the address to pickup the pizza, and typed it into our GPS. there was no mention about the street being a bus only street by my GPS or the pizza establishment. I turn down the street and am met by a police officer and a $124 ticket for turning down the street. no parking on the cross street before either, so assuming you need to park a few blocks away? Honest question, is uncle faiths working with VPD to ticket people? Entrapment?“

“I absolutely love Freshslice Pizza on Joyce Street! The location is perfect with plenty of parking around, and the restaurant is fully accessible and always clean. The staff pays close attention to details and never ignores you or act busy when you walk in; ( there is an Asian girl ( Filipina I guess) sorry I didn’t ask her for her name …she is constantly cleaning and organizing the place making sure it’s tidy and presentable)they’re always quick to assist, friendly yet very professional. The toppings are always fresh and generous, which sets this location apart from others I’ve tried in Burnaby Surrey or Vancouver, they simply never disappoint They’re my favourite 100% ,and I highly recommend ordering from them .“

“I've been coming here for a couple of years and the pizza and service is always fanatstic. The parking lot can be a but chaotic, but it's definitely worth the little bit of extra effort.

There's a small area to eat inside, but best to grab takeout, they'll give you paper plates. Deer lake park is nearby, great for a picnic, walk a little bit of the za off after (or try!).

Pizza always has a generous amount of toppings and is not too greasy. This has always been consistent and I value that in a world of shrinkflation.“

“Happened to be in Delta and was looking for a bite. Checked out Madhouse for a slice and boy am I glad I did. I think it has to be in the top 3 pizza joints in the lower mainland. The crust, the sauce and the generous fresh toppings all deserve 5 stars. They should consider franchising as it will beat the pants off the current offerings elsewhere. “This is probably the top 5 best pizza joints in 604 and it having stayed open for 57 years and counting is a testament to the fact that it must be doing something right!

Having stayed in 604 all my life and tried pizzas from NYC, Chicago, LA and Toronto - Me n' Ed has something special going for itself. I drove by today and thought I've never tried this place for all the years I've been here in 604! Let's give it a try.

The value one pays is also very good - they use quality ingredients, fresh and tons of it. The crust base is mastery - just the right thickness and does not get soggy or floppy - a slight mild grainy texture that gives it that just right chew and bite.

In terms of pizza culture in 604, we can break it down into 3 categories - gourmet, fast food style and old school.

Me n' Ed is a mixture of old school and gourmet but its prices are only just slightly higher than the fast food places and yet you get way more value here. It also doesn't skimp on portions like the gourmet places who charge $30 for a small, thin pie with small amouonts of toppings - only fit for someone on a diet. It isnt fast food types like the many walk in no seat parlours or fast food brands. You can taste it first and foremost in the kind of tomato sauce they use - which I opted to test by going for the classic - Margherita. Delicious.

Why choose a Margherita? It has minimal types of ingredients (Tomato sauce, cheese, basil and olive oil) so despite it's 'simplicity' it is very difficult to make a good Margherita because there is literally nowhere to hide and each ingredient must speak for itself through the mastery of the maker and usually if a pizza place can make a good Margherita, they can do good with many other items.

One important thing to note is, this place does not make its pizza's overly salty and instead let's the natural umami from the ingredients speak for itself - and only good quality ingredients can do that. When a place over seasons, it usually is a way to mask poor quality or overdue ingredients.

This place will change people's attitudes and perspective to the foundations of what makes a good pie.“
