The crust is thin with just the right amount of chew, exactly the style I enjoy. Each slice has a subtle charred aroma that adds extra flavor, likely coming from the massive brick fired oven, you can even feel the heat radiating from it as the pizza comes out.“

“Decent cheap pizza, but packaging needs improvement. In Burnaby we are encouraged to compost our used pizza boxes. Would be really nice if Fresh Slice clued into the fact that their plastic box stickers are almost impossible to remove, basically guaranteeing plastic contamination in our food waste.“

“Been at all their locations, sometimes as part of a 10-person foodie group, trying to "test" this chain versus the "cannot be beaten" Fire Pizza before the owners became absentees. Generally, Uncle's pizza has better ingredients than others, e.g. Freshslice which is just about on every other block. The one on Broadway has consistently better ingredients. Other locations vary in ingredients. The Uncle's at Richmond skytrain has no nearby parking on a strip mall, but it had the best Qi according to a digital fengshui e-compass. This location is popular with Asian clientele despite the Asian eateries next door. The staff in Richmond is very hospitable and the layout is Feng Shui positive. Good job!“

“Two of the last three times I’ve ordered my usual x-large double cheese/double pepperoni pizza I received a half cheese/half pepperoni pizza. Both times I took the latter pizza because I didn’t want to wait for another to be made.
I’m giving a 5 star rating because the staff is always pleasant and the problem was due to lack of English and lack of training.
You guys make good pizza but your new staff doesn't know the difference between “double” and “half.”
Please train your staff more fully. Thanks.“

“I was gassing up before getting on the ferry and I asked the local chap at the gas station if you could recommend any nearby pizza places. He told me to go try madhouse pizza on 12th Ave., highly recommended by him. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, I was informed of the many choices and ended up with a personal supreme meet Pizza. I am now enjoying it in the lineup to Nanaimo. Fantastic flavor, and very plentiful. The only downside is the fact that I had to catch the last damn ferry which means I’ll be home by about 1:50 AM“

Phone order was clear and polite/helpful. Delivery was punctual with polite service and pizza arrived at proper temperature. We ordered 1 pizza with gluten free crust which my wife stated was very good and I had regular crust which was also good. We had 3 different toppings over the 2 deliveries and all were good! I would order here again and recommend them based on our experience this week.“

We had tried the butter chicken and vegetarian and found both delicious. Our slices were of a good size, loaded with ingredients. Our slice+drink combo seem good value for money. Service was fast and friendly. Metrotown foodcourt seating is plenty, spacious, bright and clean.“

“A business loses stars for fixable but ignored safety or health infractions, or genuine interactions directly with the owner/manager. They don't lose stars for simple human mistakes, unpredictable accidents, or the behaviour of other customers.

Having said that, I've had an excellent experience with this Domino's. My online orders are prompt, the tracker functions fine, they honour coupon codes and the staff has always been friendly and courteous.
