“To start the customer service and atmosphere in this bakery is incredible. It's got great art on the walls. The sourdough options are amazing, whether you like a softer bread or a denser bread. I love the Lunch Pail which is a soft sandwich bread. Their sandwiches on focaccia are very delicious always with a meat and veg option and their veg options are particularly inventive. They make their own house setein for their veg sandwiches which is particularly nice. It's a great family owned business. Their cinnamon bun is a must try. Delighted to have this bakery in the city.“

“I attended the French Macaron Baking Workshop and had a wonderful experience! The instructor was very attentive and explained everything clearly. All of the staff were friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the workshop. The baking process was really fun, and the environment was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Most importantly, all of the macarons were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!“

“Came in with high expectations based off the reviews and was still pleasantly surprised. I had the bulgogi Korean beef bun and it was fantastic, the bun was fresh and soft, the meat was sweet and nicely seasoned I'll definitely be back to try out the others“

“Amazing empanadas! By far the best I have had since living in Latin America 15 years ago and better than most I had there, too. They are baked, which I always preferred to fried ones, and that also means they are healthier! The beef ones are my favourite. I could eat these every week.“

“We have a number of Mayflower's offerings at our cafe at @Brentwood Bay Village Empourium. Erin is a delight to work with and the baking that we bring in from Mayflower is a wonderful complement to our own in-house baked goods. Many of our customers say the date squares are ''the best they have ever had'', and the plant-based sausage rolls and Ukee bars are a hit with vegans and non-vegans. Thanks Mayflower for being here for other small businesses!“

It is during such tough times that we realize what a strong community we have and that we don’t have to fight our battles alone. Due to your generosity and the help of many, our evening was a huge success. Almost 200 people attended, 40 volunteers participated, and fun was had by all. A total of $36,764 was raised. In appreciation, Krista wrote a heartfelt letter that was read at the event, expressing their gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support given and shown to their family during this difficult time. “Nice little cafe, but spent $21 for a croissant sandwich ($13) and a 12oz americano misto (oat, made up the rest of the bill). Prices were not listed for food items in the case. Ordered a 16oz but was given 12oz and told they don’t do 16. I have gotten 16oz americanos there previously- not sure if this is a new thing? Good coffee though!“
“This is a hotel cafe, so the prices are a tad high, but not terrible.
I had breakfast here with my kids. The staff were very friendly. My daughter said the pain chocolat was better than France and my little one loved the overnight oats. The dried fruit was actually much better than the frozen fruit I use at home, so I'll have to try that moving forward.
Sausage breakfast sandwich was also very good.
They were very busy which lead to service being slow (no fault of the staff) so do allow extra time.“

“Sam’s london fogs have been an absolute staple in my daily life for the past couple of years working nearby Taste Cafe! No other cafe can even compare for me now because it is the world’s best london fog. There are also so many delicious food options. Some of my favourites are the veggie sandwich, peanut butter jenny bar, and the roasted pepper soup. Every day I feel lucky and excited that I get to go to this cafe!“

“Best donuts in Victoria. Their monthly flavors are amazing, especially their special season ones and their PRIDE ones. All of their locations have donuts and have a great cozy atmosphere with tasty homemade coffee drinks. If you want the best selection of donuts though go to their original Discovery Street location. If you want something other than a sweet for breakfast then you MUST get the egg bun. The perfect soft bun with cheese egg goodness.“

“I have been a Long time customer at Tim Hortons on McKenzie Avenue at the corner of Borden and McKenzie. I have found their staff extremely pleasant, service is excellent and everyone seems to have a smile on their face. I will be coming to this location for as long as I am able to!!! Keep up the great work and service.“

“I visit a lot of Tim Hortons locations, but the service at this store around burnside really stands out. Jonav was super friendly, attentive, and handled the line quickly. My food was fresh and warm, and the coffee was spot-on. Highly recommend this spot if you want reliable quality and top-notch service!“
