“This South African food is very unique. Their main thing is chicken flame grilled which is delicious you can try different flavours it has an awesome flame grilled taste ….prices are reasonable and the food here is delicious my office is just off lonsdale we come to this location twice a week. We recently got a coupon which was sent to neighborhood’s in the area and had amazing deals. Clean restaurant and the employees are very friendly. Would recommend everyone to come try this place.“

The only downside was the price was a bit high for the smaller portions. It might just be a Van City thing as I have been all over North America and most portions are larger and less expensive.

“Much to my delight, I received a call last week from one of the two co-founders of Memphis Blue BBQ (MBBBQ) - George Siu. He felt it was time for their magnificent BBQ emporium - to give back to the front line nurses and surgeons who work tirelessly and endlessly, to help keep patients alive in this time of COVID - 19 crisis ! He offered to provide lunch for the Emergency Surgical Staff at MSJ Hospital in Vancouver - who it should be known - has been open during this global pandemic - to provide a hospital venue for urgent and emergency surgery. Kudos go out to George and Park for providing absolutely the best BBQ food available in Canada - to keep the staff on top of their game, ready to rock n roll during any surgical disaster in this world crisis situation. I have a bit of a personal experience with true BBQ, as I trained for 72 hours under the watchful eye of a seven time participant in the Annual Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue in Lynchburg, Tenn., which has been running for 31 years. I have visited multiple BBQ restaurants throughout the planet - including 11 in Nashville, 4 in Memphis, 4 in Dallas, three in Austin, 2 in Portland and one in both Stockholm and Munich. I regularly use my Cookshack smoker, my house favourites being pulled pork and ribs that make the friends keep coming back for more. Every now and then I treat myself to the premium product coming out of Memphis Blues BBQ, right here in Western Canada, and I gotta say that they are hitting it out of the park. The best way for me to judge a BBQ joint, is firstly to see their BBQ pit area-and I gotta say-the MBBBQ set-up is like a low and slow BBQ nirvana, with dishes that compare or exceed the best in the business. Every time I chow down on their BBQ sauce, beans, pulled pork or ribs - I am flying high in my Michelin 3 star comfort zone, giddyup! But truth be known, their BBQ sausage hands down blows away any sausage I have had anywhere on the planet, bar none ....double giddyup with a whack of the killer MB BBQ sauce slathered on top!! Had the boneless secret sauce chicken—brilliant balance of sweet and savoury, with the sauce absolutely coating the chicken (which was disappointingly lacking the second time I visited), yet the batter is impressively crispy in all their chicken menu items. Complimentary pickled radishes were a nice touch, and I sampled some wings, which were just alright, but the sweet potato cheese balls are recommended. Then when I paid for my food, I asked her which one was less rice. She was so blunt responding that she forgot! WAHT?!?! Did she think that I was begging her food? Or was I given food for free? Without the customers, how can your shop sustain for rent and wages and other expenses! That lady needs to be trained her attitude is in this job. “Vancouver's "No. 1 Roast Pork", the skin is thin and crispy, the meat is fat, lean, layered and fragrant, not too salty, but it tastes better when eaten in dine-in, because sometimes the take-out tastes different when the weather is cold and you can heat it up when you go home. I have been eating roast pork for many years. I have eaten it all over Hong Kong and Guangdong. In Vancouver, this is the best. The other "Cantonese roast pork" and "Ming X roast pork" are not on the same level.“

And I ordered the most popular one at this place. Spiciness was medium and meat was beef. Visual impression of the food was so home and cozy. And the taste was deep and rich. Perfect spiciness. And the best part was noodle. Its texture was between udon noodle and tapioca noodle. Pleasantly chewy and noodle didn't get soggy quickly. I enjoyed this food til the end. The only thing that I was little disappointed was the portion of meat. There was just some pieces but I was so contented with this flavor. “Takeaway spicy seafood noodles and fried noodles
The portion of seafood noodles is large, which may be just right for two girls to eat together.
The seafood noodles are full of aroma and the soup is rich and delicious. It's still delicious when you take it home and the texture of the noodles doesn't get worse.
The spiciness is just right for Taiwanese, and it tastes better than the noodles I had in Seoul before. There is no such delicious Korean food in Tainan.

Chicken skewers and mapo tofu(Our order is no oyster sauce, just spicy with peppers), fried squid, spicy fish dish are our favorites. Most dishes on the menu are good. Draft beer was fresh. They offer you one small snack for free upon arrival :) I can smile every time I come here.“

“Recently ordered takeout through their online ordering system and there was no indication that there would be any additional fees, but when I went through checkout and checked the receipt, there was a maintenance fee just around $10% of the total bill that was added on. Would recommend calling in or going in person to place orders instead if you want to avoid that fee.“
