“Probably the best mountain top food I‘ve had all things considered, I was actually surprised! Prices were reasonable (a $23 burger combo included two sides free of choice, e.g. two full grilled corn cobs) and it tasted good. Free water, limited non alcoholic options because both times we tried to get the slushy it wasn‘t frozen. Tables could be cleaner and chairs more neatly arranged in between guests, but that‘s normal in these high tourist spaces.“

“I’ve visited this restaurant many times, and it’s always such a pleasant experience. The interior feels upscale yet relaxing, and all the staff are friendly and welcoming.

The “Holly Cow” platter is an amazing selection of meats — without a doubt the best taste you can find in Vancouver.

They also offer individual BBQ sets and counter seating, which makes it easy to come alone, while the private table seating creates a wonderful atmosphere for families or friends to enjoy together.

“Had dimsum here and the food was amazing! Everything was so flavourful and they were very attentive when we needed more water, tea or napkins. This is also still hands down my favourite place to have the Liu Sha Bao. Other places, the bun tastes kind of dry and the egg custard isn’t as flavourful. We were also happy to eat the Sesame Oil Chicken as it’s not always found on dimsum menu!“

“I had a great dining experience at Toedam Korean Fusion BBQ. The portions here are impressively generous, making it one of the best value Korean restaurants I’ve visited in Vancouver. Every dish came out flavorful, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared.
The spicy marinated crab was rich and bold, the pork hot pot arrived sizzling with tender meat and savory broth, and the tteokbokki had that perfect chewy texture with a satisfying level of heat. Even the side dishes were delicious and thoughtfully made—fresh, well-balanced, and constantly replenished.
What really stood out, aside from the food, was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. The restaurant is clean, organized, and the ordering system is easy to use, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.

Other noodle and rice portions a tad small which is to be expected. Definitely pricey here, at least it's authentic.

Seems to be newly renovated, shows the old school of what Chinatown wasike back then with its back and white photos hanging on the walls.

Great service with staff who speak better English than the Richmond restaurants. Probably because meant for tourists like us with the tour buses we saw throughout the day here.“

However, there was only one server at the front. She had to handle seating guests, making drinks, taking payments, serving dishes, and cleaning tables all by herself. It was clearly too much for one person to manage. The management really should staff more servers.“

“We ordered take out twice and dined in this past month. All of our experiences with this restaurant have been positive. Service was fantastic. Greeted warmly and given our choice of seating. Food was ready in a timely manner and very tasty. We ordered the beef brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich - small size - and the portions were generous. The baked beans were smoky and delicious. The potato salad was also tasty. My beef was tender and the BBQ sauce was so good we bought bottles to take home. The staff was also flexible in amending my order which I greatly appreciated. It is located downtown squamish in a good sized space with lots of light. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Great prices. Great service. Great food. It has become one of our favorite restaurants!“

I love coming to this place to eat but I believe it is now a Vietnamese restaurant (Song Huong). Strangely the sign above restaurant still says lu lu kitchen but the restaurant window sign shows Song Huong.“

And no, it’s not just because I was hungry — I’d give it 5 stars even on a full stomach!

Other places? Either too salty or dry like jerky.

“I cannot believe that I have not visited this place earlier. Before I ordered it, I asked what the potato noodle is like. And the staff explained to me very well. And I ordered the most popular one at this place. Spiciness was medium and meat was beef. Visual impression of the food was so home and cozy. And the taste was deep and rich. Perfect spiciness. And the best part was noodle. Its texture was between udon noodle and tapioca noodle. Pleasantly chewy and noodle didn't get soggy quickly. I enjoyed this food til the end. The only thing that I was little disappointed was the portion of meat. There was just some pieces but I was so contented with this flavor. Overall, it made my day, and I would happily go back there hopefully every week :)“

Finally got to try this popular roast meat place that always has a line! Luckily, the wait wasn’t too long — about 10 minutes. Watching the chef skillfully slice the meat was impressive. I bought the honey-glazed BBQ pork and the honey pork jowl. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos, but if you love a rich honey flavor, you have to try the pork jowl — it’s absolutely delicious! 😋“

“The BBQ pork is always up to standard. It's delicious and al dente. However the lady who served me today was so impolite. I requested less rice for myself and regular for my companion. I asked if I could get a bit more veggie while I requested for less rice. She immediately replied with her long face that you need to pay more for veggie! Ok fine I didn't want more veggie then. Then when I paid for my food, I asked her which one was less rice. She was so blunt responding that she forgot! WAHT?!?! Did she think that I was begging her food? Or was I given food for free? Without the customers, how can your shop sustain for rent and wages and other expenses! That lady needs to be trained her attitude is in this job. If she doesn't understand customers are the key to sustain business, please don't work here. Please go start up your own business that you can shout to the customers.“

One good point they are open till late which is rare in vancouver so its great and they have a variable menu , from bbq to sushi They offer cold dish with the bbq and its tasty

“I’ve been to this restaurant several times, and Karen is by far the best staff member I’ve encountered. The first time I met her was on a busy weekend dinner — she was working at the front desk and remained patient, friendly, and welcoming despite the long line.

What impressed me even more was tonight’s visit on a weekday dinner. She was serving tables, and every time I needed something, she responded quickly and always with great manners. When I went to the self-serve snack area, I even noticed her tidying up the trays and arranging the food beautifully during her spare moments. This level of attention to detail is truly admirable.

Previously, I brought friends here and happened to encounter another waitress whose attitude was very lazy — chatting, avoiding service, and always pushing tasks to new staff. That experience left a bad impression on my friends.

“Had a spicy chicken sandwich and biscuit. It was excellent. Not fine dining, but everything you're looking for from a BBQ joint. Chicken was crispy, sauces tasty. A hint of sweetness. Wouldn't hold up well to doordash, so I wouldn't advise that (crispy chicken and sauce don't mix).

Prices very reasonable.
