“A pretty cool place to grill some food over charcoal fire. They have a great selection of meats that you can get from their all you can eat menu. We opted for the Supreme combination as it came with all the best cuts of meat. They also have a self service hot station bar. This is a place that should be tried at least once if you are in the area.“

“Wasn’t too busy when we went. The food was good with lots of different options for the ayce. We got cotton candy at the end of the meal but the cotton candy machine was a bit faulty. The staff were so helpful with the machine repair so that we could enjoy it in the end. A really good more price friendly ayce hot pot option in the Metrotown area“

“We ordered takeout and had a great experience. We got two BBQ rice dishes, one with roasted pork belly and char siu, and another with roasted duck and BBQ ribs. Everything was freshly prepared, packed well, and still hot and delicious when we ate it.

The roasted duck was the highlight of the meal. The meat was thick, juicy, and tender, with wonderfully crispy skin. The roasted pork belly had a great balance of crispy skin and tender meat, the char siu was flavorful, and the BBQ ribs were tasty as well.

Overall, the food was fresh, generous in portion, and excellent quality even as takeout. We’d definitely order from here again.“

“Great place for BBQ skewers! Everything we ordered was delicious, but the 宫后夹肉 was definitely the highlight—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The special grilled oysters with garlic were also amazing and a great value.

“Really satisfying late night BBQ spot. We ordered a mix of skewers, plus a few dishes. Everything was pretty good. The lamb skewers were juicy, well seasoned, and had that proper charcoal grilled flavor without being overly salty.
The fried rice was really good too, very smoky and flavorful with generous portions of meat throughout. We also tried the spicy hot tripe, which had a lot of flavor without tasting overly oily.

“It has exactly what need for your Chinese meats by the pound or poultry by the whole or half bird. We went with roast pork, BBQ pork and soy sauce chicken. Everything was wonderful. Roast pork was well seasoned, moist with nice crispy skin..Bbq pork had great flavor and was very moist. Soya chicken was tender and moist with ginger scallion mix on the side and extra sauce. Took it home and enjoyed over steamed rice with gai lan and oyster sauce with spicy chili.. perfect meal.“

And I ordered the most popular one at this place. Spiciness was medium and meat was beef. Visual impression of the food was so home and cozy. And the taste was deep and rich. Perfect spiciness. And the best part was noodle. Its texture was between udon noodle and tapioca noodle. Pleasantly chewy and noodle didn't get soggy quickly. I enjoyed this food til the end. The only thing that I was little disappointed was the portion of meat. There was just some pieces but I was so contented with this flavor. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good“

Finally got to try this popular roast meat place that always has a line! Luckily, the wait wasn’t too long — about 10 minutes. Watching the chef skillfully slice the meat was impressive. I bought the honey-glazed BBQ pork and the honey pork jowl. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos, but if you love a rich honey flavor, you have to try the pork jowl — it’s absolutely delicious! 😋“

“If I could give Galbi Korean BBQ 6 stars, I would.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We went on a Sunday night and expected a wait, it was about 45 minutes but absolutely worth it. We ordered the Chef’s BBQ Combo D, and it was more than enough for all of us to leave completely full. They continuously refilled our sides and sauces, so we were never without anything. Everything felt clean, organized, and really well run.

My personal favourites were the marinated beef short rib, the fresh salad, bean paste soup, scallion salad, and the cheesy corn — all so flavourful and perfectly done.
