“A pretty cool place to grill some food over charcoal fire. They have a great selection of meats that you can get from their all you can eat menu. We opted for the Supreme combination as it came with all the best cuts of meat. They also have a self service hot station bar. This is a place that should be tried at least once if you are in the area.“

I literally haven't found a place that matches my palate as much as this place. Not just that, they are not stingy with their food! If you want seafood tofu soup, you GET seafood tofu soup. It's jam packed with goodies in the soup. Their seafood pancake is 🤤 not just a whole bunch of green onion and flour but an actual SEAFOOD pancake. And the servers, omg, they are fantastic. “The food was excellent! You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. However, the service was quite poor; we wanted to order but waited a long time without anyone coming over. We waved to get attention multiple times, but no one acknowledged us. Eventually, a male waiter took our order. It was the same situation when we wanted to order side dishes—only that one waiter paid us any attention, while the others seemed not to see us at all.“

“We ordered takeout and had a great experience. We got two BBQ rice dishes, one with roasted pork belly and char siu, and another with roasted duck and BBQ ribs. Everything was freshly prepared, packed well, and still hot and delicious when we ate it.

The roasted duck was the highlight of the meal. The meat was thick, juicy, and tender, with wonderfully crispy skin. The roasted pork belly had a great balance of crispy skin and tender meat, the char siu was flavorful, and the BBQ ribs were tasty as well.

Overall, the food was fresh, generous in portion, and excellent quality even as takeout. We’d definitely order from here again.“

At just $29.99, you get unlimited soup, meat, vegetables, and dessert. It’s an excellent value and easily beats many other AYCE hot pot restaurants that charge $50+ per person.

The tomato soup and cilantro & century egg soup were both flavorful without being overly salty. The sliced lamb was a bit fatty, but it was easy enough to trim off yourself. The lamb skewers were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of char and cumin.

The dessert station was a nice bonus, with milk tea and a variety of toppings to customize your drink. The service was friendly throughout the meal.

If you’re looking for a satisfying late-night hot pot without spending a fortune, Marble House Eatery is hard to beat.“

We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good“

The fried rice was really good too, very smoky and flavorful with generous portions of meat throughout. We also tried the spicy hot tripe, which had a lot of flavor without tasting overly oily.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We went on a Sunday night and expected a wait, it was about 45 minutes but absolutely worth it. We ordered the Chef’s BBQ Combo D, and it was more than enough for all of us to leave completely full. They continuously refilled our sides and sauces, so we were never without anything. Everything felt clean, organized, and really well run.

My personal favourites were the marinated beef short rib, the fresh salad, bean paste soup, scallion salad, and the cheesy corn — all so flavourful and perfectly done.

And the best part was noodle. Its texture was between udon noodle and tapioca noodle. Pleasantly chewy and noodle didn't get soggy quickly. I enjoyed this food til the end. I see a bunch of reviews saying the service is bad, but you can tell these people have never eaten at a genuinely authentic and delicious Chinese joint.

This place is a gem. A freaking gem. There aren't many honest to god, grassroots, authentic restaurants like this left. The food smacks. Not even trying to glaze or anything, but the Duck Lai Fun is something to die for. All of this situated in the neighbourhood I grew up in. This is a freaking staple.
