“X-site restaurant, clearly named after its excellent food and exciting experience. Owner is a friendly and memorable character.
Quite popular restaurant with often a line, on Mondays. Nevertheless, the line moves fast and tables are always spacious and clean. Food comes very quickly. I almost always get the peppercorn steak, medium rare and it’s phenomenal. The washrooms are even a highlight, as they smell great and are clean. I would recommend this place any day, as the drink specials, service and food are exceptional. When grabbing your bill, the price truly is the cherry on top. A lower budget for a quality dinner, ensures I always tip BIG. I am beyond grateful places like this exist, and I want to keep coming back to support them.“

“Great time! Really enjoyed the food. The chef even took the time to come out and speak to us about his fermented hot pepper sauce that they serve with the chicken wings. If you are ever in the area you have to try the fermented hot chicken wings which pair nicely with the marinated olives.“

“I was served by a dish of wings by a very nice lady named Arantxa tonight. The staff here are always quick , attentive ,welcoming and polite. The wings were excellent and generous in their serving size . I have told many friends about the positive experience I have on a regular basis at Bar One. Whether it's Arantxa, Victoria, or any of the other staff , whose names I don't have at the moment . Credit where credit is due... The food and service make for a good meal.“

“Went to Browns for dinner on November 2nd and was kindly greeted by our host and seated right away. Our table had an anaphylactic person to all seafood. Before ordering we told the server the severity. We ordered, as per the menu, the pork gyosas and the chips and guacamole. After the appies were brought to the table and placed before us, the waitress then says, *just so you are aware the gyosas have shrimp as well*. We were not impressed. No where in the menu did it say shrimp as an ingredient, just pork, or we wouldn't have ordered them, as we could not have seafood at the table. This was the only error made all night, however, it almost lead to a very very bad night for us, as one bite would have put the customer in anaphylaxis within seconds. Thank you to our waitress who pointed this out before we ate them.
After this we received our meals. We ordered the #29 Dragon Bowl with teriyaki chicken, deadly flavor, chicken was a little dry however the flavor made up for it. We also ordered the Meatball Marinara, excellent. The burger with a poutine, the best burger we've had in Vancouver so far, and the Chicken Mac and Cheese, which again was spectacular. Overall, the food and service were fantastic and luckily we avoided what could have been a deadly night.
Thank you to our waitress for being on the ball and thank you to the staff and chefs for delivering a fantastic meal.
Will definitely go back.

My only gripe was the price but I’m not sure if that’s something the bar can even control that much w inflation. Out server Amanda was awesome, she recommended some cool places for us to check out on Main after.“

“Great spot. If only they opened up the patio to let bikes in. A lot of people don't feel safe leaving their bike on Broadway. It always comes up as a suggestion among our friend group as a place to meet, but we often go to Boxcar instead as they let bikes onto the patio.“

“I went on a Friday evening for the first time. It hit crowded and we had to sit in the entrance. Other than that staff held the crowd in balance and everyone was eating and the food is scrumptious.

“We went here for my dad’s 70th birthday, I had accidentally booked the wrong number of seats and knowing how new and busy they were I called frantically about changing the reso last minute. They were so nice and very accommodating and were able to make it work (I think we got the best table in the house!)

Besides that, the food & drinks were OUTSTANDING (we got like 3/4 of the menu - the duck was unreal). The service was so good, she was knowledgable and put up with my old mans bad jokes. I can’t recall her name but she had nice red hair and she was 10/10.“

“We have been traveling from the Seattle area to Vancouver since 1999 on a regular basis. In 2005 we discovered CinCin. Since then, we NEVER go to Vancouver without having dinner there. We have never had a single morsel of food that we didn't love. We celebrate our big anniversaries there. We have been there for our 10th, 15th, 20th and last night our 25th. We have been to more than 50 countries around the world and we love to eat but CinCin is our favorite restaurant. Can't wait to celebrate our 30th there and a bunch of times in between.“

“We went for lunch at the recently renovated The Grill at Terminal City Club. Though only accessible to members, I really enjoy dining and lunching here with friends. It has an outdoor patio area that overlooks waterfront to the North. We really appreciate that the restaurant gave us well-portioned meals even though we asked for the dishes to be split. Our salad and our club sandwich with all the fries were a good portion for each person. Lots of choices between soup and salad to compliment your sandwiches. Coffee and tea are part of the meal. That grilled salmon caesar salad was so delicious, healthy and light, I was craving it the next day. Fries were very crispy and delicious too.“

“Been here twice in the past couple of weeks. Great venue! Lots of ping pong tables, and lots of long tables to socialize and play board games at. Ping pong balls and paddles were provided, and were in great condition. Staff was friendly. Only thing I would suggest for improvement is have more food options, and drink options for people that don't drink beer or wine. Like Smirnoff Ice, Palm Bay or growers cider. Like how the staff didn't mind people ordering pizza from elsewhere and having it delivered there!“

My joy is trying new restaurants, coffee shops, dessert shops and curiosity arise to my eyes when there is lots of customers in a place. I try Bells and Whistles today with my daughter. I admit the fish tacos was delicious for appetizer. We order popcorn shrimps and try one of their new feature cheese burger with jalapeños plus fries too. My food was good and I like my food hot not cold. The waitress was very helpful and courteous.“

“Breakfast pub dining and the food is delicious. We had the Huevos Rancheros and the bean base was delicious. Excellent portion sizing and they also have an expensive cocktail selection. Limoncello spritz! Which we didn't try but will next time. Coffee was very diner coffee.“

“This is the best place to go dancing in the whole city, in my opinion. Great staff, great sound, great visuals, great DJs, great rotating monthly theme nights. Nothing beats dancing on the Fox stage- just don't bring drinks up there! As if the dancing weren't enough, the live bands and comedy shows are also well worth checking out. I've been all over the city and Fox is easily the top spot, no two ways about it.“

There is no better place to get a nice crisp tequila soda listening to the best music to have ever been produced played by the best dj's you will ever experience.
