“I was scrambling to find a place that could accommodate my wedding party last Friday (July 4th)—all 24 of us, including kids and a baby! For context, I had reached out to the manager, Matt, a couple of days prior, and he was incredibly accommodating and responsive over email.

Without getting into too much detail, I had to make several additions and adjustments to the reservation, and Matt couldn’t have been more helpful throughout.

On the day of the event, some of us arrived a bit earlier than our reservation time, but we were still welcomed and seated. The servers worked hard to wrangle our group and take orders as efficiently as possible. In my experience, all the staff were courteous and professional. Our server in particular was especially friendly and responsive. The food was solid—though I did miss the hot wings they used to serve a few years back!

All that to say, I just wanted to give my heartfelt thanks to Matt and his team for going above and beyond to accommodate our large group on such short notice. You made it a truly special night, and we’re very grateful.“

And anyway, the superb pulled pork, brisket and other delights are worth every note of guitar feedback played over the speakers. Had the platter and highly recommend. Pickled veggies too? Yum! “Had a great time at Mum’s The Word Open Mic in Toronto. It’s a free space for art thrive (singing, story telling, stand-up comedy, whatever talents you have). Fun place, friendly people, cozy, great service, awesome beverages. Totally recommend it!“

The indoor space has lots of places to sit as well as a small dance floor / audience area with a stage - and fun ceiling decor! “I was served by a dish of wings by a very nice lady named Arantxa tonight. The staff here are always quick , attentive ,welcoming and polite. The wings were excellent and generous in their serving size . I have told many friends about the positive experience I have on a regular basis at Bar One. Whether it's Arantxa, Victoria, or any of the other staff , whose names I don't have at the moment . Credit where credit is due... The food and service make for a good meal.“

“We went here for my dad’s 70th birthday, I had accidentally booked the wrong number of seats and knowing how new and busy they were I called frantically about changing the reso last minute. They were so nice and very accommodating and were able to make it work (I think we got the best table in the house!)

Besides that, the food & drinks were OUTSTANDING (we got like 3/4 of the menu - the duck was unreal). The service was so good, she was knowledgable and put up with my old mans bad jokes. I can’t recall her name but she had nice red hair and she was 10/10.“

“Been here twice in the past couple of weeks. Great venue! Lots of ping pong tables, and lots of long tables to socialize and play board games at. Ping pong balls and paddles were provided, and were in great condition. Staff was friendly. Only thing I would suggest for improvement is have more food options, and drink options for people that don't drink beer or wine. Like Smirnoff Ice, Palm Bay or growers cider. Like how the staff didn't mind people ordering pizza from elsewhere and having it delivered there!“

“Our food was out of this world good and the prices were so reasonable. The cocktails were terrific. The Burrata Tomato appetizer had tomatoes so fresh I think they picked them off they vine out back! The Bolognese was very good, the Wagyu Lasagna was outstanding, and the Steak Special was fabulous. Angela knew every detail of the menu and gave great recommendations, and was perfectly attentive all night long. We are so glad CinCin was recommended to us by the concierge at our Hotel (The Loden).“

My joy is trying new restaurants, coffee shops, dessert shops and curiosity arise to my eyes when there is lots of customers in a place. I try Bells and Whistles today with my daughter. I admit the fish tacos was delicious for appetizer. We order popcorn shrimps and try one of their new feature cheese burger with jalapeños plus fries too. My food was good and I like my food hot not cold. The waitress was very helpful and courteous.“

“I love it because I could do my dancing without being bothered feel like I'm in my own living room dancing I call it my gym I go there when I feel tense and I just get on the dance floor and dance but since I had my two strokes recently infecting my balance so I need to rest hopefully it comes back cuz I miss going dancing and it's also the my favorite because I'm allowed to bring my dog with me“

“We went for lunch at the recently renovated The Grill at Terminal City Club. Though only accessible to members, I really enjoy dining and lunching here with friends. It has an outdoor patio area that overlooks waterfront to the North. We really appreciate that the restaurant gave us well-portioned meals even though we asked for the dishes to be split. Our salad and our club sandwich with all the fries were a good portion for each person. Lots of choices between soup and salad to compliment your sandwiches. Coffee and tea are part of the meal. That grilled salmon caesar salad was so delicious, healthy and light, I was craving it the next day. Fries were very crispy and delicious too.“

“My friends and I had an amazing time at Granville Room! The vibe was perfect, with great music and a welcoming atmosphere. The cauliflower wings were crispy and flavorful, and the vegetarian tacos were fresh and delicious.

The customer service was outstanding – friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you’re looking for great food and a chill spot with good vibes, Granville Room is the place to be! We wonder how did we miss out on this gem in Vancouver so far, we can't wait to keep visiting!“

“This is a real speak easy hidden at the back of the Hundy burger and chicken sandwich counter. Dark comfy interior with a nice mix of soft music. The drinks are really good but pricey, luckily the sandwiches are good and reasonable. The spicy chicken, fries, salad and poutine are creative, delicious and unique. They're a bit understaffed so be patient and enjoy the ambiance.“
