“Amazing stop in tonight! Friends and I stopped in after a beach day in town, Kyra served us; great recommendations for cocktails and beer and food.

Started with crispy cauliflower with avocado tahini dip and lamb gravy poutine. Brilliant!

Then I had the lamb burger which was CRAZY and buds shared the lamb chops, also amazing, with the dip served.

Will be back to try more things, A++++

“Today, I was so hungry that I ordered the chicken shawarma rice and the chicken shawarma rice plate—and honestly, it was the best meal I’ve ever had! I've only ever done Doordash so I have no idea what it's like inside or if the people who run it are nice, but they seriously stuff those takeout containers with delicious food so they're definitely generous. The mixed chicken/beef platter is my favorite, but we also love the tabblouleh. The rice is in the platter is wonderful. It looks pretty standard, even a little boring (it looks like it's going to be flavourless), but it is seasoned so nicely and is always cooked perfectly. The meats are super flavourful and have crispy edges, and the hummus and little salad that come with the platter are both perfect. The value is great - you get a lot of food for around $20, so much that we always have leftovers. My new Doordash favourite!“

“One of the best donairs I've had in a while, I ordered a mix lamb and beef. The donair was wrapped tightly with fresh and very delcious meat and vegetables. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice asethic. Very kind service as well.

There wasn't any music playing, which is kinda nice actually but I do enjoy being exposed to some middle eastern music every now and then.

“Went there recently and ordered a lamb donair, and the new lady there made the best donair I have ever had, not just randomly slapped together, but built properly with meat on one side and the veggies on the other side, it both tasted fantastic and looked delicious.“

The karahi was spicy and savory, and the basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant. The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. “Food quality at this location is good & consistent. Serving portions are quite hefty. Good value for your dollar. I usually get the Hawaiian beef donair but today I had chicken rice platter. Very tasty.

& also a 1 minute walk from skytrain.“

The donairs here are delicious, but what really makes this spot special is the sweet couple who runs it. We’re regulars, and they always remember our order—which is such a nice touch! You can really feel the care they put into both the food and their service. Such a cozy, welcoming spot in the neighbourhood!“

“As usual, I ordered the shawarma platter and the quality is on par with most other establishments in the area. (Although the chicken used to be better when they prepared it on the spit. Now it's done in a convection oven)
I particularly like the whipped garlic sauce they offer. Which I don't see this in many other middle eastern restaurants. The hummus is also light and fluffy.
The Saj wrap was a nice change from traditional pita bread wrap.
I would and will eat here again when I am in the neighborhood“

I live in the neighborhood, and actual get take out there a few times a week. I do like me some donair meat, and every once in a while I go on a rampage lol. I usually get the beef platter, but I've been known to get the chicken, lamb or a combo. It's good food, what more can an honest donair fan ask for? I'll bet the majority of folks will really like it. Oh and the hummus is really good as well. Good food, very nice people, family run - it's nice to have a decent donair place in the neighborhood.“

The bad reviews are being too critical when considering the value. Mushy rice? Yeah you're getting a generous amount of sauce, be thankful.“
