“Loveliest little shop that serves delicious pastries, sandwiches, soups, specialty beverages, etc. There are also Italian groceries and tons of beautiful treats. It's so cozy and warm, and currently beautifully decorated for Christmas; a highlight this time of year is the eggnog latte, perfectly foamed and spiced. Every team member I've dealt with over the past few days during my visit here from Ontario has been lovely, kind, and accommodating, and if I lived here, you can be sure I'd be a regular at this warm and inviting neighbourhood spot. “This coffee shop is one of my favourite place on Lonsdale. They have such a variety of food and everything is fresh and tastes very good. The place is small but very nice and cozy. The staff is kind and friendly.
I like to come here whenever I have chance and I highly recommend this “little gem” as it’s worth visiting.
Today I came for breakfast after my appointment near by and had one of the best homemade breakfast sandwich (fully loaded) in along time. Well done PEGSTERS! Keep the good work! 👏👏🤩“

“The best food I have had dining out in years. You must try the coconut Shrimp. They are huge and super tasty!!!! Too many things to list. You will be satisfied with everything on the menu. The staff is also super friendly and service is fast. Definitely a must try!! I am sure you will be a repeat customer. In the middle of my review I took a picture of the coconut shrimp. So good!! “Went to Capilano Suspension Bridge park for Love Lights and ate here thereafter. Server was great and the food was delicious. How awesome it is that they cater to vegans and vegetarians. Just wish that there’s a washroom right inside the restaurant and not out in the park. Wouldn’t mind heading out of the diner to use the washroom when the weather’s warm and dry, not so much when it’s cold and wet.“

“We arrived with a party of six and sat at a long table that was clean and comfortable. We were promptly acknowledged by Tanysha, who was fabulous throughout our stay. The atmosphere was relaxed, the smash burgers, and accompanied pickle shooter, were outstanding. We all enjoyed their selection of beers, of course. Give Black Kettle an opportunity to serve you, you won’t be disappointed!“

From the moment we stepped in we were welcomed with genuine smiles and batter til the very end where every staff member we interacted with, thanked us and wished us well. “As a fussy vegetarian, the T&B felafel burger was a pleasant surprise with layers of well selected flavours. I think its the lemony charred fresno aioli that took it from pretty nice, to 'I'm coming back'. SWMBO got the wrong dish, but loved her vegan salad too when she got it, so we'll forgive them that and be back. Vegetarian and vegan were happy.“

“Revisiting after three years and once more, I had an amazing experience at Ali Baba Capilano Café. Their food brought me back to my childhood, especially the Jigar, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. And the sirabi… honestly, that’s something I’ll never forget. It’s rare to find that authentic taste here, but they do it exactly right. What really makes this place truly special is the atmosphere. It feels like stepping into Tehran in the 1350s, or walking into an old traditional village store. Thanks to the team for keeping this beautiful tradition and flavour alive. I’ll definitely be back.“
