“The broth was so light and aromatic and with such a delicate flavour. It was a nice change of pace from all the salty stuff I had been eating lately. For only 12 dollars is an absolute value. I need to come back later and try some other stuff!“

“We've been here for multiple times. The food is great. During 6.30pm-7.30pm can be a bit crowded and took some time waiting for the food. But it is worth for waiting. We usually ordered Pho, Fish ball noodles and dried rice vermicelli noodle with Lemongrass chicken. This time we tried the Phanom Penh noodle curry and Phanom Penh seafood noodle. They're very tasty.“

“A top notch pho always begins with a great broth. The broth at Pho Long is light, delicate, with a subtle flavour, just the way I like it. The large #1 was filling with a solid amount of tendons & tripe. Service was prompt and the atmosphere gives you the classic San Jose local pho joint vibs, including Paris by Night on the big screen tv. Owned and operated by the same family for over 40 year and still thriving in a very ompetitive landscape. Find out why!“

“This was hands down the best pho I have ever tasted. The broth is incredibly savoury and meaty with a just right hint of sweetness. The portion was very generous. The staff was also accommodating of requests. I came here twice in my short two day stay in Vancouver! It really is a shame I couldn't stay longer.“

“Definitely a Vietnamese local hot spot! This place is cash only and has only 2 menu items: chicken pho and beef pho (~$20 each). I opted for the chicken pho which was massive! It was large enough to share between 2 people. The chicken was a bit hard to eat given it was both white and dark meat on the bone. But the flavour of the broth was creamy and delicious! The service was very fast but be prepared to wait in line outside even though they have plenty of spots inside.“

“Very welcoming family run business. They provide tea with their meals which is a very nice touch. I ordered the Bons Special Sandwich and it’s by far the best Vietnamese sandwich I’ve had ever. Everything else on the menu looks bomb and I’ll definitely return. If I was a local this would be my spot. Thank you owners!!“

“An impromptu visit. A review in brief:
Food: wonton soup with a sweet(er)broth... different... I liked it. Salad roll, decent, maybe too heavy on the mint. Pork brochette, tasteless but tender. Spring roll tasty but the ground meat lacked texture. The pho we ordered was to include tendon and tripe. Both were missing. They brought the missing meats with apologies.
Service was fine by the sweet lady but she only spoke Vietnamese... not a word of English. We got by with my smattering of Vietnamese.
Atmosphere was typical of a mom and pop diner... not much. Unfortunately, the tv was playing sports highlights with the volume up... and we were the only ones there.
Price point is average... $40 for two for lunch.
Would I go back? If there were no other options, sure... but there are... plenty.“

“I was really pleasantly surprised. It was my first time trying this place out. I had a few banking errands to do and had some time to kill so I figured I'd have a early lunch.
The food is very tasty. The service is standard. There's plenty of parking. I would definitely come back again and try other items off the menu. It's nice to have a Vietnamese option at Market Crossing!“

“This was only my second time eating Vietnamese food and it did not disappoint. I went for the new menu item, Shaking Beef, and it was incredible. The beef was super tender with this amazing soy-garlic-pepper glaze, and the watercress + tomato on the side balanced it out. If you like bold, flavor-full food, order this. Will be back to try more.“

“Prices for portions are good, they actually give every addon unlike other pho places such as beansprouts, jalapeno, lime and basil.
The soup in my bowl was warm and didn't fully cook my beef.
And I saw the entire cast of Bug's life crawling on the window and some of the pillars in there.
I would've given 3* but that placed filled me up. Loved putting wet juicy noodles in my mouth.“

“Came here because I like the Victoria Dr location. It's similar but sooooo much more salty. Also the fish cakes got smaller and less generous. Still tasty though. It's a small place so prepare to wait.
Update: came back a year later and asked for less salty. Was so thirsty after I had to chug water. Why so much sodium?????“

“Very small restaurant but charming. The chicken pho broth and noodles (i could tell the latter was freshly-made) were both good. Broth had a great flavour but i could tell it was mostly the meat doing the heavy lifting.
The quality of the chicken was not that great... kind of chewy and stringy. If the other elements like the noodles and broth went as great, it'd be a 3 star or below.
Salad rolls were generous but lacked veggies. Great vermicelli noodles and decently good sauce as well.“
