“Lovely place! All pizzas were delicious, we tried the bbq chicken (very flavourful), the pesco (with peaches and balsamic-surprisingly very tasty!!), and the margherita. The gluten free crust was $6 but was good also. Shout out our server Michal, he was lovely and very friendly, service was amazing! We got a side fries as well that was tasty and it came with a yum aioli! Definitely will come back when we roadtrip up again :)“

Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“My wife and I stopped by Ignite Pizzeria in Yaletown for a late evening snack and shared a medium Margherita pizza.

The pizza was excellent. It struck a wonderful balance between traditional Italian pizza and American-style pizza—fresh, simple ingredients with a crust and overall presentation that was both satisfying and approachable. It was one of the better Margherita pizzas we’ve had.

The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to unwind for a casual meal or snack. One detail I particularly appreciated was that they served water without ice, which felt more in line with the Italian dining experience. I usually have to request no ice, so it was a pleasant surprise.

“This review is about this Abbott Street location. In particular about the people who work here. I've lived in Vancouver for 20 years and I've never seen exemplary customer service than I've consistently received from a young gentleman called Shubhh.

If you're a regular, you know exactly who I mean. He always greets you by name with a pleasant smile, remembers your orders, goes above and beyond in accommodating your preferences. He still asks for my mother's health, who was visiting me about two years ago and was poorly.

In a world that's inherently transactional, and at late night pizza place at that, Shubhh somehow is an example of how to bring humanity to a very ordinary exchange. Getting late night pizza, while occasionally inebriated.

Anyway, pizza is pizza, and Uncle Fatih's is decent and consistent. Honestly, better quality toppings than you'll find in similar establishments open late.

While pizza is pizza, good and kind human beings are rare. And so this is both for readers of this review, and for employers of Shubhh.

“Had a fantastic lunch here today. Ate the Avocado Pesto Tomato Grilled Cheese -– Mozzarella, Avocado, Tomato, Pesto on 3 Slices of Toasted Bread w/ Garlic Butter. I added a medium hot sauce but probably could have chosen a spicier hot sauce since the avocado 🥑, tomato 🍅, and cheese 🧀 were good counterweights to the hot sauce. THE best vegan pizza I have ever had in my 12 years of being vegan, and the overall atmosphere was really pleasant as well. My girlfriend got a vegan pizza too, and as a non-vegan said it was incredible. I really appreciate that they made the effort to carry on with the vegan menu of the previous restaurant in this location, it shows alot of consideration that many establishments dont have.
