“On our journey driving from Alaska to Arizona, my husband and I made it a priority to stop at The Original Lunch Doctor in Pitt Meadows, BC for lunch. Why? Because my grandmother, Elsie Hatlen, is the founder of this local legacy and amazing sandwich shop! I haven't been here in at least 30 years (I was somewhere between 7 and 10 years old) when Grandma let me help in the back kitchen. The giant mixer was my favorite - and apparently it's still there! It was really neat to be back in Grandma's old shop. We missed the current owner today but visited with all the ladies there, left an original "The Original Lunch Doctor" jar opener for them (the info is even still the same), enjoyed a *fabulous* lunch, and watched them totally sell out - at one point there was a line out the door! It warms my heart how much folks love this place still. Grandma Elsie started something amazing that still lives on... as does she! Still zesty and kind as always, but in Texas instead of Canada. Thank you so much for the hospitality and full bellies! ❤️ 10,000 out of 5 stars, highly recommend!“

“Absolutely the nicest people working there. Super service. The falafel wraps were amazing and the people there were so kind, they gave extra dip with the pita chips when I asked even though it wasn't included. Then came to the table to ask if we wanted anything else or if it was good. My husband went back for a smoothie and only ordered one and they gave us a free one for me. Unbelievablely kind! I gave them a tip, but those two ladies working there today make pita pit look amazing. If pita pit trains their workers to be like that you've got me as a favorite customer. Made me want to come back and tell others. I also usually don't write reviews, so there you go! Great staff and good food and smoothie!

“I came in with crutches on Oct 2 around 2:30, right away an employee opened the door for me. There were a few ladies working and every one of them helped me out, they sat me down brought me the debit machine so I didn't have to hobble over and even filled up my drink for me. “Impeccable service!! At this subway, the worker working around 9:20am today (Mar 25) was one of the best fast food employees I have ever encountered. She was very patient and knew everything on the menu like the back of her hand! She also didn’t just slap the ingredients into my sub and leave half of them falling out after she closed it (can’t say this for most subway employees these days). The washrooms were also very well kept and clean. Subway should give this young woman a raise! My only regret is not getting her name.“

Am a vegetarian so I ordered footlong veggie patty Two girls were there and one of them took my order quickly. They made it with good care, proper handwash and taking care of not touching any meat. To our surprise, only one person was on shift and was juggling online orders, walk-in orders, and receiving/putting away all the product.
