“I ordered lunch for 40 people at my office. They did a fantastic job. Everything thing was labeled & organized on arrival and everyone raved about the food. We will definitely order for a business lunch again. What a fantastic place with lovely, professional people. Highly recommend!!“

“Hey, why say the tables are dirty. The owner is very busy ordering for everyone, serving everyone, gracious and polite and the tables get wiped when people finish and leave. Putting your dishes in the dish bin is not a big deal and if you left them on the table, he would clean up after you. it is my go to place with neighbourhood people, students and it fills up very quickly at breakfast and lunch. The fact that it still exist in the high end pretentiousness of the changing scene in Vancouver, worth five stars.“

“We stopped here for a quick drink just as we got into the downtown area! The staff were super friendly and they had lots of great deals on drinks and food! The place is also really large, with a great outdoor patio and inside seating sections!“

“This place is amazing! I went to go eat with my boyfriend here during a very rainy day. We were feeling miserable because of the weather, but the amazing food and warmth cheered us up! To top it off, we got a free bowl of oden soup!!!! Amazing place, would definitely recommend!!!“

“This restaurant is such a gem! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate and the service is genuinely warm and attentive. We went there to celebrate my birthday and they went the extra mile by surprising us with a small ice-cream “cake” and even taking a Polaroid photo for us, such a thoughtful act that made the night extra special.
The food was flawless. Though the menu isn’t large, every dish is clearly crafted with care and intention.
The sablefish was a standout. It melted in the mouth yet still held its structure beautifully without being soggy. Every vegetable on the plate was cooked perfectly, no filler or mediocre sides. All details are well executed.
Portions were very well calculated too, filling without being overwhelming.
We absolutely will come back.“

“I was introduced to this place through my friend. I was skeptical at first to try it, but man oh man it was delicious.
I had the beef noodles and it hit the spot, it was cooked very well and the broth was spot on. What I loved more about it was the owner who runs the place. He was so warm and welcoming.
I highly would recommend this place if you want the food to hit the spot and not cause damage to your pocket !“

“Our grandfather took us to the Wood N Frog Coffee Company we had hot drinks and lunch. The Frog Chai Latte was delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I wish we lived closer I would be going every morning before work! Thank you for the lovely experience and amazing drinks and food highly recommend going if you are in the area.“
“My friends and I had brunch and there was a bit of a wait as they don't take reservations on public holidays. The atmosphere was a bit loud however we could hear each other talk.
The service was efficient and the servers were friendly. I had the breakfast plate, I particularly the enjoyed sausages, they were not greasy.
I would highly recommend this place, the only thing is reservations are available on any other day except holidays.“

“My go-to local restaurant whenever friends are visiting. Their unique Vancouver-style rolls always wow the crowd! We love the platters because the portions are generous and the flavors are perfectly balanced.
Beyond the sushi, the Seafood Carbonara spaghetti is a must-try—so creamy and flavorful. The staff is always welcoming, and the 10% off for takeout is a nice bonus. Highly recommend!“

“Friendly and attentive service, coupled with delicious food and a great atmosphere makes this my new favorite place for late night skewers and a drink. I highly recommend the lamb skewers and the intestine skewers, both of which were fantastic.“
