“Hubby saw a series in Mikey Chan’s Strictly Dumplings on Youtube. So we checked it out, located in Presidential Plaza 2nd Floor food court. The food court is small, we ordered takeout. Line was long but it moves pretty fast. Their pork hock was their specialty and they had freshly prepackaged to go meal in a container. It was that fast & efficient.
The pork hock was tender & very flavourful, for $15, it was a steal. It came with rice drenched in that wonderful dark piggy sauce, a braised egg, sautéed potatoes strips & glass noodles & pickled marinated green long beans. The pickled green long beans paired very nicely with the dish. The portion was so big that it was a 2 meal deal for us. Highly recommend… !

“Decided to treat myself yesterday and it had been awhile since my last time eating here. This restaurant never disappoints! I ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito bowl and man was it ever delicious! The chipotle sauce that was drizzled overtop was just amazing and I would buy a bottle of it if I could! It was a large portion and worth every penny! Their wait staff are all very cheerful and friendly! One of my favourite places to go in the Westend!“

“I love Bon’s. They have a $3.00 breakfast, for anyone on a budget. The atmosphere is awesome, such a cool place to go to. You get your own coffee and water which I like. It is a family owned establishment, Bon is the dad. For three of us, four plates of food, three coffees was just over $40.00, which is super reasonable. It’s my favourite place to go for breakfast and I highly recommend it. 🧡“

“Yessssss De Dutch!! They had the only real syrup in the world: Van Gilse.
They had some Dutch dishes, like a dutch pancake and the farmers omelet. The food came out quickly as well.

“I recently visited The Basic on Main Street in Vancouver with my best friend and my two kids, and we had such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, and gives off a really wholesome family vibe — perfect for a relaxed meal out. I ordered the veggie hash, which was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. The kids loved their pancakes, and my daughter was thrilled with her hot chocolate topped with whipped cream (a big hit!). Our server, Jesse, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome throughout the meal. Overall, great food, great service, and great vibes. We’ll definitely be back!“

“This little hideaway has the best food. They offer all day breakfast, at a reasonable price and the best asian food. We always have chicken chow mein or the pad thai. They make homemade milkshakes that are absolutely delicious and we always finish our meal with one, the blueberry is a favorite, the banana is great as well. The staff is great, very friendly and always smiling. The lady in the kitchen has her 2 daughters working there as well. The 2 sisters are a great asset to this cozy little place. I highly recommend this awesome place, for great food and fantastic service. YUM YUM YUM!!“

“Amazing service by our server. We came in a bit late in the afternoon and asked for a coffee and hot chocolate. We were offered whipped cream for our hot chocolate and real cream for the coffee. Server was attentive and friendly. Definitely would recommend.“

“In my opinion the food wasn't half bad was a little odd seeing bacon in the fancy way they slice it but it was still very good . The quesadilla was a little dry but I mean we did show up 25 mins to closing. Even so I still think more salsa would be nice. Great server didn't rush us at all even though it was close to closing... Would go try again when I have more time to read the menu was disappointing to only have like 1 piece of each fruit in the bowl for a side as well 4/5“

“Rita was so friendly and helpful! Fast service with a genuine smile :) Food and drinks were delish. We all tried something different. Eggs n toast, Nutella pannekoeken, and The Farm pannekoeken. And of course you need to try their Flight of Mimosas or maybe 2 ;) We will definitely be returning our next visit to Vancouver and hope to see Rita again.“
