They have the ube pandesal at our local Save On. I was so excited to try it but then the filling is not so much. The cheese was just like cheese whiz. I hope they do better than this.
Pricey yet delicious food. Parking is a little bit problematic during rush hours.
Ordered off of Ubereats. Their portion sizes are quite small. Food is okay but portions are not worth the cost. I ordered the Bangsilog for $21 and the fish was so tiny and had bones.
Previously I’ve ordered from Ongpin on DoorDash and the cost was the same but the fish was HUGE and tasted better overall. I was able to save some for lunch the next day.
With Kumare, I am still hungry after eating the whole thing - I feel ripped off and wish I ordered else where.

Kumare Restaurant and Bakery offers an extensive menu that is sure to satisfy any craving. The crispy pork leg is a standout dish, cooked to perfection and bursting with juicy flavor. The "Bilao set" and "nilaga beef soup" are popular choices among regulars, and the "bulalo soup" is also a hit. The ube cake is a sweet treat not to be missed. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. Customers praise the authentic Filipino flavors, describing everything as tasting homemade and full of flavor. They also note good portion sizes and a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. One reviewer mentioned a fish dish with crispy fish and egg on rice as a traditional Philippines breakfast. The restaurant is described as nice and clean, with great food and service, even noting beautiful calligraphy on takeout containers. While some found the food just ok and a little pricey, and servers could use more energy, the desire to support fellow Filipinos leads to high ratings. Kumare Restaurant and Bakery is a must-visit for a satisfying dining experience, especially if you're craving real Filipino food.
