“I was not disappointed. I have traveled all over india and Manon's chai is still my favorite on earth.
Ash and his exceptional Turkish coffee stand outside is a beautiful addition.
I purchased rose, turmeric, cardamom and lavender chicolates too!“

“Literally the kindest people who put so much care and attention into both their food and service. No matter how busy it is, I've never waited longer than 10 minutes! The fish is high quality and always fresh and the rice is perfectly seasoned. Salt spring is so lucky to have such good sushi 💞“

“I can’t comment on the food as I haven’t eaten here, but I’ve stopped by multiple times just for a pint. This review is based on that experience only.
I really want to give this place 5 stars—the atmosphere is nice and it’s always been a decent spot for a drink. However, I’m removing 1 stars for one big reason: the way they handle liquor tax.
Most establishments in B.C. include the liquor tax in the listed price of a pint. Here, it’s not included—you’ll see one price on the menu, but when the bill comes you’re hit with three different taxes: the standard two plus the B.C. liquor tax, which is passed directly to the customer. Considering the pints are already on the pricey side, I find this practice frustrating and misleading.
For example: two Fat Tug IPAs (Driftwood) came to $19.50 before tip. That’s steep, and not the kind of experience that makes me want to come back as often.
Hopefully they reconsider how they structure their pricing, because this could easily be a 5-star spot otherwise.“

“Charming, but rustic mainly open air eatery with loud live music built around a large tree in the heart of Ganges. Very pleasant staff, good food and large portions considering how busy it consistently is and its near waterfront location. Very popular with visitors.“
