“Had dinner here with my friends last week and everything was amazing! The food was delicious, and the staff were all very friendly. Zoey was our server and she was outstanding and made our experience even better. We ordered the pho, soft-shell crab, and lobster roll. Every dish was excellent. The pho broth was especially tasty, and the noodles were just like the ones I atein Vietnam!“

Just skip the burrito version and get a bowl. It saves so much frustration. They dont know how to wrap them properly and as soon as you start to unravel the paper it all falls apart. Dont think this is a portable item. It isn't. It will be a fork situation.“

“Not a good experience! We ordered 2 main courses 1 duck 1 chicken The duck dish was half cooked, the toppings around were not tasty at all. The chicken dish came uncooked! We returned the dishes to the waitress immediately, we were shocked that this is the food served. When the bill arrived, The restaurant asked to charge us for both dishes full price, We refused! After a short conversation they said they would give us a 10 percent discount, We also refused! We returned an entire dish to the kitchen and the second dish we barely touched ... in the end we only paid for the drink and the duck dish. “We had a quick lunch here after leaving the airport, before heading up to visit Whistler. The food was incredible, we had the chicken satay as an appetizer. I wish we would have been able to take leftovers, or else I would have tried more things! The service was great.“

We stumbled into Ishow Kitchen while waiting for a table upstairs — and wow, we’re glad we did! Their dishes are packed with flavor and totally different from what you'd expect. The spicy noodles were a killer, and the portions were just right. It's a small spot, but the food punches way above its size. Definitely coming back.“

“I went there (this past Xmas season) with my son & had a delightful lunch. The menu selection was varied & I enjoyed my choice. Atmosphere is very small to accommodate surprisingly so many tables. Parking is limited...I went there by Skytrain...public transit is so efficient in Vancouver. Yes I would go there again & try the other items. I took an umbrella & the cafe had a stand ti inswrt your rainy protection device. Just remember, other patrons also use it too...I had to sift through the lot of many crowding the stand.“

“The portion of food for the price was good (better than fair) and it had flavour. The fish, the chicken and the shrooms were tasty, although I felt that the food overall was a bit oily. Nonetheless, the portion of rice and the meal itself was adequate for the price. The service was fast and the person who attended me was polite and quick for taking the order and providing info regarding a deal, however, could have been a little bit more friendly (although they were still polite).“

“Came here last night for a quick dinner. First time coming here and was so pleased with everything. Was very quiet which was nice, the server was super nice and friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. We love miso soups but have a hard time finding places that we like for their miso soups however it tastes great. Sushi was so good, all tasted fresh and not dry at all. I 10/10 recommend and would definitely come here again“

“Beef noodle soup - 8/10, the noodles weren't our favourite but the soup was good and beef was extra tender

Dandan noodles - 10/10, saucy, delicious, no complaints

XLB - 7/10, average, less soup than I'd prefer

We got there just before lunch rush started. Thankfully we got a table, as lots of people showed up afterwards and had to wait. The tables are close together so I would avoid constantly getting up when it's busy. Food took a while to come out, probably because they got so many lunch orders all at once.

Parking was ok - it's kind of awkward but when it's less busy there's enough room to maneuver around easily.

Service was decent. There were 3-4 workers that worked quickly to get tables cleaned and ready for the next group.

Overall I would come again, probably during a less busy time.“

“Very few places serve goose but this is one of them. Service is authentic chinese as they barely look at you when they serve the dishes.

“visited with a friend this evening and ordered 2 small drinks and 3 snacks, altogether the price was quite fair, around $30-something. my friend accidentally spilled her drink, but the service counter attendant was extremely kind, understanding, and helpful. after cleaning up in the bathroom, my friend's drink had been replaced for no cost, and two of our snack plates had arrived, ready for us to enjoy.

small, cozy, and nostalgic, sunflower cafe has been the source of many warm memories for me, and i was pleasantly surprised to create a new one with a friend this evening. will definitely come again the next time i find myself in the neighborhood.“
