Had the best squash soup ever! Ambiance was great. Salmon was done to perfection! Highly recommend!
I always love Holt Renfrew Cafe. The food quality is consistent and there is always a good choice of dishes. I have rated the noise level as energetic because of a table of 2 ladies who were speaking very loudly and it was interfering with the ambience of the room. Normally there is just a regular buzz.
Scott, at the pop up stand, completely changed my first impression of Holt Renfrew for the better. He is warm, charismatic, personable, knowledgeable and funny, and makes you feel like you matter.
He lets you know about products and food without being pushy. And his effort and social skills will always stick out in my memory.

Many consider it a hidden gem, especially for afternoon tea, which is noted for its excellent food and service without being too busy. The restaurant also offers the GOOD VIBES TEA, a Brazilian-inspired collab with Byredo, which was outstanding. Mid-afternoon tea time avoids the lunch-time crush. The eggs benny is highly recommended, especially with the delicious side salad that has a delightful sour dressing.
