Delicious and friendly service
Alright sushi spot, last reviewed 7 years ago. Time for an update.
Think it was a change of owners quality has gone down. Still cheap eats. Ordered a spicy salmon cone, salmon avocado roll and chicken karage from the happy menu to go. The crisp for the spicy salmon were oil is tasted. And the cone was oily for some reason and there was a piece of plastic from something in-store I think, first time this has happened ordered a few times prior to this meal.

Cozy sushi restaurant with incredibly fresh fish and friendly staff with good prices. Despite being busy with orders, we received our orders quickly and the staff were very attentive. I loved the albacore and sockeye salmon sashimi, soft shell crab 🦀 roll, and the mochi donuts. Definitely check them out if you are on Commercial Drive.

The special (no mayo) veggie rolls are also highly recommended. While eating in may not be the best option due to the loud TV and lack of temperature control, the food is considered fresh and delicious. Takeout options have received positive feedback, although some customers have noticed issues with ingredients, such as under-ripe avocado. The service is fast and attentive, even during busy times, and the bento boxes are filling and good value for the price. Naruto Sushi is family owned and managed, and many customers find it to be truly special after trying various Japanese restaurants over the years.
