My group tried the jazz buffet dinner for first time. I requested a table in a spot that was warner but we still ended up in a cold spot. Food overall was decent but there wasn't the variety I was expecting for $72. Refill on items was super slow so when we arrived a bit later there were a lot of empty containers. The Saturday night buffet and live jazz was not what I expected and the price of $72 pp did not warrant the quality of food and live music. The food variety was sub-par, the best tasting food was the salads. Pasta bar was ok but the pasta was very al dente. The rock fish dish was the highlight although the fish was under-seasoned. I’m staying in the Pan Pacific, where this restaurant is located. Room service was very pricey- 17% gratuity + $7 delivery charge. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl which had zero sauce. One scoop of hard white rice with no sauce to mix it in. Way too many red peppers… maybe they’re low on other veggies? Also ordered an espresso which tasted like what iron must taste like.
