Takenaka has become one of my favourite Japanese spots in Vancouver. I always look forward to their beautifully presented set meals, which are balanced, fresh, and satisfying. The onigiri are made to order with perfectly seasoned rice and generous fillings, and they’re some of the best I’ve had outside of Japan.

We have order the lunch set and a uni udon.
The udon is suppose in the set, we are happy they can make it individually for us.
Food is good, and I specially like their Hochija latte.
The food was on par with Japan. The service was very pleasant and the atmosphere seemed friendly and energetic. The portion of food was more than I could finish so there's nice value.
