“Really comfortable brewery/distillery to stop in and grab a pint and a bite. The beer selections i had was delicious and refreshing. Although I didn't find the menu of food particularly appealing, your needs are probably different than mine, so have at it. The people working there were friendly and knew about their beers. Definitely stop in. If I find myself there again, I'll be trying the gin and whiskey.“

“Tried a pilot mango wheat here, and it was delicious and refreshing, and very smooth with a strong mango flavor. Definitely needs to become part of the permanent summer lineup. I have had other mango wheat beers from different breweries and this was by far the best one. Clearly the brewer knew what they were doing with this one. The rest of the beer is very good too!“

“We had a booth in the back corner which is great, but then another group sat across from us and the tables are situated so they face each other. A little odd and the other group was a bit louder so it made it difficult for us to carry on a conversation while they were there. We enjoyed everything else as always and the server was excellent!“

“My partner and I came here on NYE, and had a great experience. No cover charge, a truly expansive and delicious local beer/cider menu (with unique flavours), and the staff was very friendly. The owner offered everyone NYE swag (kazoo, hats and so on) as well as free snacks (pork sliders, fruits etc) after the countdown. We had a lovely time and will certainly be back on another visit to Victoria!“

“Three of us went for the Dine Around menu and were very impressed with what we got for $35., an excellent value today. Everything was nicely presented on the plate, as well as very tasty. The choices for each course were excellent as well. The noise level in the family section of the pub was pleasantly moderate, a change from the usual LOUD!“

Lower stars because—A frustrated staff member barged on through a crowd of us, we had just arrived and making our way to the back of the place, hurt my hip and hurt the shoulder of a friend. “Went for sunday brunch with my daughter and had Em C as our server. After coming here for several years it was so nice to have a happy, attentive server! Usually (and including today other than Em), they always look and act like they hate their job. The food tasted great, but did come out a bit cold, but we didnt have time to wait for new stuff and so I did not mention it to the server. Overall, Em deserves a raise for being a shining light in that place!!“
