“Really comfortable brewery/distillery to stop in and grab a pint and a bite. The beer selections i had was delicious and refreshing. Although I didn't find the menu of food particularly appealing, your needs are probably different than mine, so have at it. The people working there were friendly and knew about their beers. Definitely stop in. If I find myself there again, I'll be trying the gin and whiskey.“

“I came in last night and was astounded with the high quality of service that I received. Having been a traveller for the better part of my 20´s and 30´s aswell, I have seen a lot of different establishments but none quite brought to life by the quality of work such as that of Sarah. Sarah tended to my every need with an air of confidence and brought my evening to life with her passion and wit. My evening at refuge was one that I won’t be forgetting soon. “Tried a pilot mango wheat here, and it was delicious and refreshing, and very smooth with a strong mango flavor. Definitely needs to become part of the permanent summer lineup. I have had other mango wheat beers from different breweries and this was by far the best one. Clearly the brewer knew what they were doing with this one. The rest of the beer is very good too!“

“Went for sunday brunch with my daughter and had Em C as our server. After coming here for several years it was so nice to have a happy, attentive server! Usually (and including today other than Em), they always look and act like they hate their job. The food tasted great, but did come out a bit cold, but we didnt have time to wait for new stuff and so I did not mention it to the server. Overall, Em deserves a raise for being a shining light in that place!!“
