Cantonese Restaurants in Victoria, BC

“After a long ferry trip yesterday, my aunts and I were starving and in search of something to eat we found Toishan Kitchen - it did not disappoint. The house special fried rice was the BEST fried rice we have ever had! The salt and pepper friend chicken wings were also delicious (if you cannot handle spicy food, beware of the chili peppers! For me I LOVED them!) along with the chicken chow mein and the garlicky eggplant. I wish I had tried their egg flower/egg drop soup and their egg foo young too, but next time I'm in town and craving Chinese, I will have to stop by again!

The hostess also was super accommodating because we got in with about 30 minutes before their last call, we got our food quickly everything incuding the tea was HOT and the leftovers we had taken back to our air BNB about 20 minutes away for dinner or lunch the next day (or late night snacking) was still warm.“
