“The food's of great quality, and I find myself ordering from here often when I come by. Their OPA! platters are a standout, but I also find myself ordering their wraps, fries and pita often too. Service is good, although lines may accumulate during busy hours.“

“We phoned yesterday, made a reservation for a birthday dinner today at 5:30 PM, confirmed verbally on the phone. We showed up at 5:30 PM and they turned us away, saying they had no reservation. We showed them the phone number that we phoned yesterday to make the reservation. The phone number was on our phone, confirming that a phone call had been made. We recounted to them the conversation, including the discussion about the fact that it was a birthday and reminded them of the discussion about having a dessert with candles. Nobody recalled the conversation and we had to leave because they were fully booked. they tried to assert that our reservation had been for the previous day and that she even recalled serving a woman yesterday with the same name, a birthday.“

“Definitely a must-visit, cozy Greek restaurant in the heart of the old Greek neighborhood in Kitsilano. The food was full of authentic Mediterranean flavors, bringing back wonderful memories. The sea bass was outstanding, fresh and flavorful as if it came straight from the Mediterranean. We also enjoyed perfectly fried atherines and gavros, along with a crisp, finely chopped lettuce salad that was incredibly refreshing. The tiganopsomo, loaded with cheese and served with a side of creamy taramosalata, was another highlight. From the meat selection, the pancettas, juicy keftedakia, and were absolutely delicious. The grilled octopus paired beautifully with a glass of ouzo to finish the meal.

They offer an impressive selection of authentic Greek wines, but this time we opted for Aperol spritzes, which were light and refreshing. Next time, I am looking forward to trying their wine selection along with their famous meat platter.

Service was warm, genuine, and friendly, making me feel like I was back in Greece.

I had the chicken souvlaki plate and it was so good, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and so satisfying without being heavy. Everything on the plate tasted homemade and full of flavour, from the tender chicken to the crisp salad and rice. The staff are warm and welcoming, and you can tell they care about quality. Highly recommend stopping by, a feel-good meal in the best kind of way. Just wish they stayed open later!“

“A great evening dining with my wife Janet at Olympia Pizza on Denman. We come here at least once a visit to Vancouver. The Pizzas here are so good it has become a habit to order them. Tonight we broke our tradition and had a steak dinner (Janet ) and Moussaka dinner ( Me ) . They were so tasty and had us remembering our stops in Greece on this summer's Mediterranean cruise. “I had a wonderful time there. My first trip to simpatico and would I definitely go back. The server was friendly, and accommodating. She took her time with my order and helped me narrow down to wanting a lentil soup and Greek salad. Which is what I was craving. I loved how decorated the place was. Simple yet elegant and home like feel to it. I have never been to Greece but after dining here I was inspired more to visit. Caitlin was knowledgeable about the menu, when deciding on something and was optimistic about what the restaurant offered. Which I loved and value so much when dining out, especially when dining solo. I give them a 5 star because of the service and the food. Thank you for a lovely time, Simpatico staff! ❤️💜💕“

We ordered the Hydra favourite of lightly fried zucchini and eggplant , shared the sea bream family platter grilled ( the potatoes are incredible ). Sea bream beautifully filleted at the table . “This is my all-time favorite restaurant. I was there with my friend Reg for lunch last Tuesday, June 3, 2025. I had heard that they were bringing back burgers and omelets and other favorite lunchtime fares on their new lunch menus. Me and my friend were treated to the best and freshest burger that I have ever eaten in my life. A delicious quarter pound beef patty prepared ground on the spot and prepared fresh for us. I thought I had died and gone to burger heaven. The burger was cooked perfectly with mozzarella cheese, onions, mushrooms, bacon, and lettuce and tomato on a fresh made in restaurant delicious bun. We were the first to be treated to these fantastic burgers and am planning to go back over the weekend and chow down on more burger comfort food. It was out of this world delicious. I had ordered a side of french fries before my meal so when my deluxe burger arrived I chose to have rice on the side. Great choice by me again! ! I just want to thank my friends at Andreas restaurant (North Vancouver) for bringing back burgers to their establishment. It was a bon bon day to have such a delicious lunch at my favorite food place and it was wallet-friendly as well as this big burger meal only cost me CA $15.50. Cheers and thank you for the great meal and service. My server Jason was amazing and super attentive. Can't wait to go back with my friends for lunch this coming weekend. “Stumbled across this restaurant on our last night in Vancouver and what a find. This is a small but very busy restaurant with lots of locals coming in a constant stream plus takeaways and delivery drivers. This was a Tuesday night and it was extremely busy. So it is clearly very popular and i see why!! The food was fantastic and very authentic. The portions were huge and very reasonably priced. Great wine too. It was a small team but they were constantly at it. Such a slick operation and the service was faultless. A special shout out to John who was very funny. An absolute must if you are in this part of Vancouver!“

“Great tasting pizza. The pizza sauce has so much flavor. Sometimes the pizza is a bit too well done so ask for it to be baked a couple minutes less. Ordered this & the gentleman named John cooked it saying it was normal and that he cooked it well. I am a long time customer and will still continue to be. I will just ask for it less baked to prevent it looking like this.
The garlic bread has no flavor to me personally. Definitely buttered bread Nicely. Just barely any garlic flavor. I would not order it again.“
