“Had a group of 6 come in late last night on a last minute request and were able to be seated easily. Amazing service from Nori and Miles who graciously served us a decorated fruit platter before we even ordered anything. The food came fast, and was delicious. We cannot wait to come back!“

Foods are great, and the staffs, like Emma, are so kind and nice, even noticing me coming back.

“I have come to this location many times! I think it’s my favourite one. The staff are all very nice. I don’t know where they find such great staff. The soup broth is always consistent.
Even if it’s busy there is a good flow of tables as the space is quite large.“

“First time, wasn’t horrible, wont ever eat Beef Tongue.. not my thing… Very helpful staff, they did help me choose what to try. Chicken wings are delicious.. and it’s the entire wing :) I wouldn’t eat here again, but that’s cause I wasn’t a fan of the items… try it out :)“

“The lamb and beef were both fresh and delicious. I dare say it's one of the best tasting lamb I've ever had. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Decor was beautiful. Price was fair for the quality. I look forward to visiting again in the future!“

“Incredible and authentic Chinese food on campus. Get the dry hotpot and you won't be disappointed, I have been eating here for years and the quality hasn't changed at all. Want want has tons of options and its all self-service at a really reasonable price for students“

“A brand new experience of hotpot. Non-oily soup base of pork bone is fantastic by itself. All the ingredients were so fresh, range from seafood to handmade meatballs! Fish maw is tasty and has a unique texture.
scallop is the best of the best. The shell is almost face size. Steamed with garlics and poured with hot oil on top of it.
Many more soup bases and food to try next time!🥰“

“This location has no line up and not crowded at all unlike the metrotown location. Always love the vibe of having BP with friends and family especially after hiking or snowboarding. The best comfort and warm food you can get around that area after dark.“

“I walk by this place so many times. I didn't think much since there so many places to eat on Denman. Since my favorite Korean restaurant across the street recently closed, so I said hey I'll try it today. I'm glad I did it. The dan dan noodle was good and chewy. I went with the lightest heat and it was perfect. I lemon ice tea was good. Only wish it was a bit bigger. Wife and kid loved their meal, too. I was satisfied and I will be back.“

“This place is fun. The diners are enthusiastic and talking loud at family style tables. There are comfortable booths along the side. The cooks are obviously skilled, flavours and style bring me back to when I lived in Vietnam 25 years ago, so delightful. Since Mr. Red has departed east van this is our new go-to. Wonderful.“

“This is an old school restaurant. Not too many of these places left. Nothing fancy, but good food. Servers are very friendly and helpful to recommend items. They don't over sell, which is quite rare nowadays. Portions are good size. Prices are a tad high, but food is tasty. They are cash or etransfer only.“

“Honestly, I think Golden Swan’s ratings should be higher than 3.9. I think it’s better than Sun sui wah, western lake and even Kirin. It’s a bit more of an old school vibe, less affected by hipsters, which I prefer. Nothing pretentious here—just good old fashioned dim sum. The staff are actually pretty attentive and nice, at least compared to western lake where they just yell at you, or seem annoyed to have to deal with you (even with my Cantonese speaking husband!)“
