“Been meaning to come here for a while and high expectations as it had really high ratings.I don't know if it was just today but, our food (Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice) were all a bit salty and I had to drink lots of water.Staff was kind and smiling and restaurant has cute deco inside.“

“Excellent food and service. Special note of the gracious person on the phone who explained their reservation system and dining options. Would be 5 stars, but the room is small, and the volume generated by the one large group the last time we were there made it impossible for us to have a normal level conversation. This was not our experience other times when seating was tables of 4 or less so we will be back.“

“It was my first time eating here. We ordered Pad thai and spring rolls and it was so tasty. There are spicy and non-spicy options for Pad Thai. I tried both and they were delicious!!And spring rolls were also great. The surface was crispy and making an amazing pair with sweet chili sauce!!“

“This place is SO LOVELY and cosy inside with adorable private booths. And the food is superb - recommend the green curry with coconut rice. I ordered once for takeout, and I don’t know what they did to that eggplant … but I am now sitting back here in a cute booth ordering it again!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options tooDietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free food here“

“We went for the set menu and it was amazing for the price. Every dish was spectacular and really showcased what Thai food is all about.Only criticism I have is that the food could have come a little slower so we can enjoy our wine and order more wine with our food. A wine accompaniment would have been nice.Favourite dishes were the oysters, shrimp toast, slow cooked duck curry, Sebastian’s bok choy.Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs. 2x“

“Asked for their specialty, and she recommended the curry chicken noodle. Didn't regret that decision, had such an interesting curry favor with a hint of sour taste from the lime and preserved veg, which I never thought was a good combo.“

“An elevated and unique Asian restaurant in the area that is clean and a little away from the traffic on Granville. My chicken was delicious and fell off the bone, the curry broth was flavourful as well. The iced tea was also good but nothing out of the ordinary.“

“Best Thai food in the town!I’ve been trying different Thai restaurants and this is the best.Really flavorful tamarind Pad Thai!!!! Some restaurants don’t use tamarind sauce but tomato sauce instead. This Pad Thai is the best one I’ve tried so far and they can do really spicy too ( more than Thai spicy ).Not only Pad Thai but other dishes are good too, such as Khao Soi chicken, pad see ew, curries and soup. The chef is from Thailand and has decades of experience. She said customers are like her kids and she enjoys making delicious food for us and seeing us eating happily!Highly recommend!!!!!!Parking: Underground parking“

“My mother and I are good friends with the owner of the restaurant. We decided to support her local business in the community. Our family was a big group and we managed to all fit in including our four family dogs. No reservations are accepted as we had to arrive a little earlier for our family group to be accommodated. Our family enjoyed dining out on the patio. Our water glasses were always filled, except our supper came later for four patrons as the other part of the group were almost finished. Overall the wait staff service was smooth and efficient. The prices seemed affordable for Thai cuisine. All payments were made on time and we would all return in the future to dine there. The restaurant is small with only two washrooms.“

“This is now my favourite Northern Thai restaurant. I was able to get decently spicy Thai food. Most places don’t make it spicy enough and if they do it’s not with fresh chili’s . The Laab with pork was what I’d call Thai spicy. Not crazy spicy but just right for me and my family. I also ordered one of the flat rice noodle dishes which was one of the lunch specials and got it Thai spicy and it was good too. What I like is that this place makes more of a northern style food like Chiangmai or nearby regions. I really want to come again. I guess the only dish that was just basic was my daughters green curry lunch special but then green curry isn’t that spicy but for some reason it wasn’t spicy at all and more sweet than anything, so she was just picking away at it. I guess because she looks more French Canadian they figured to give her the basic dish for western customers. lol. I’ll have to explain it next time. The khaki soi was decent as well. A bit sweeter than how we make it at home but my partner still liked it and liked the differences in the way we make it at home. So all in all we plan to come back again as soon as we can when we’re in the area.“

“The owner was so accommodating and kind. He provided us with a complete experience and great recommendations. Some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had! The restaurant was cosy, felt authentic and yet modern. Highly recommend the crying tiger beef and red curry, especially if you’re looking for spicy food, they adjust it to your preference and it was perfection. Best Thai iced tea as well!! This is going to be our regular spot for sure.“

“His place is always packed. The food is incredible, but the ambience is not fabulous and the staff often forgets about you. That’s great if you want a super long time to chat after your meal could be a plus for some people.Vegetarian options: I’m pretty sure you could get a lot of things together vegetarian just have to ask“
“Finally!!!! I found decent Pad Thai in Vancouver. I'm Thai and have been here for one year and haven't found any decent Thai food here before!!I have tried only her Pad Thai and spring roll. Her Pad Thai is the wet style one. It's the best, nearly like the best one in Thailand. Hers 's only lack of some charcoal aroma but that's it, beside that it is perfect. Her spring roll is also great too, very crispy and has really great taste.I'll definitely come back!! Anyway, I ate around the Olympic village, near the bird, but I can't find her location there.“

“Love the simple and authentic Thai flavours here! The boat noodle had lots of strong flavours in the broth and the pad Thai was perfectly cooked. We got the chicken pad Thai which could have been better with sliced meat instead of ground chicken. The place is very small so plan ahead and try to go off peak times. Takeout is always an excellent option though. Get the roti w condensed milk for dessert, it’s a must.“

“The delicious and fresh food was complemented by the friendliness of the staff during my first visit, which won't be my last. We had the pork spring rolls very tasty and the satay pork skewers were delicious. Our main dishes were Samosa Thoke, Drunken Beef and Pad Thai all were so delicious. I would highly recommend giving them a try you won’t be disappointed.“

“Very high quality and authentic Thai food. Highly recommend their dish Pad Kee Mao, perfect balance of spicy and sweet and you can taste the freshness of basil leaves and the green pepper is actually flavorful and spicy, not like the bell pepper you buy in the store. About 20 dollar a dish, which is not expensive considering the amount of veggies and meat they put in your dish and the portion is very filling. Will definitely come back in the future.“

“I’ve loved this place for years now and make a point of visiting anytime I’m in Kits. Food is delicious and fresh. Service is fast (especially considering how busy it gets!) and friendly. The location is great. The restaurant is great to sit in, but grabbing and taking it to the beach is the best! Price is very reasonable as well. I love the sticky mango for dessert.“

“Decent place for healthy-ish food. Taste is good. However use of seed oils(especially peanut oil) is unacceptable when they market themselves as health food store. I know healthier oils like olive, avocado, coconut are more expensive, but customers are paying high prices and deserve good ingredients. Otherwise there wouldn't be much difference between them and something like Chipotle, other than the healthy marketing.Service, ambience was exceptional, no complaints there. I would have given lower rating if not for this.I am giving 4/5 only because they market as health food store and would upgrade to 5/5 if they use better oils.EDIT: i asked in store after comment below and they said they used sunflower oil. Would be nice to have details of oils on website.“

“This place is our go to for takeout. The veggies in the pineapple fried rice taste fresh and not from the freezer, and the tamarind pad thai is always perfect. Food prep is very quick and the pick up is always so pleasant. Would absolutely recommend.“

“I ordered the eggplant bowl with beef and jasmine rice. The eggplants were not as soft as I usually like them, but the dish was still delicious, especially the beef. It was mildly spicy, rating about 1/10, which suits someone like me who doesn't enjoy very spicy food. If you prefer something spicier, I'd suggest choosing a hotter option. My only complaint is about the portion size compared to the price; I expected more, which is why I'm giving it one star less. I'll definitely try other plates in future.“

“I rate this place according to its pretensions. It is a fine neighborhood Cafe. The coffee is good. So is its baking. The service is friendly and efficient. It is rarely too busy, so it is a preferred venue for conversations. Also, it is reasonably priced.I have yet to sample their dinner fare.“

“Ordered the Daily curry along the crispy pork belly ! Curry was super delicious and spicy but not overwhelming. The pork belly on the other hand was small portion and (side order) I feel like they could’ve been a bit more generous with that but none the less overall great food. Also when the Costumer service is not so good you know the food will be great“

“This restaurant does not take reservations so we waited around 30-40min for a table. Absolutely worth the wait. So far the best Thai I have found in Vancouver. The restaurant was busy and buzzing with energy. The staff were accommodating, friendly and all around great. After a negative experience at their sister restaurant Song, this was a welcome change. We ordered pad see ew chicken, Tom yum, green curry tofu, sticky rice, and papaya salad. Rave reviews for the Tom yum. It is on the pricier side ($26) but the best Tom yum nam sai style I’ve had in Vancouver. The papaya salad was lacking a bit compared to others I’ve tried but that was the only dish we liked not loved. The tofu in the curry was crisp and juicy. The eggplant and bamboo in the curry were lovely as well. I thought the crispy onion garnish on the pad see ew was a tasty fun addition. Overall we thought the price and portions were reasonable and would absolutely recommend and revisit.“

“Ordered the chicken pad thai today and was so pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I've been searching around Vancouver for pad thai that doesn't taste like ketchup, and it's been quite difficult. The pad thai portion was already VERY generous and I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you to the ladies working the truck today. Very nice people.“
“I recently visited Pink Elephant Cafe, a charming little spot in the heart of the city, and it was a delightful experience. The cafe boasts a whimsical, yet cozy interior with pastel colors and playful elephant decor that immediately sets a cheerful mood. Their menu offers a variety of options, but I highly recommend the signature Pink Latte, a unique blend of beetroot and espresso that's not only visually stunning but also surprisingly tasty. The pastries, especially the lemon poppy seed muffin, were fresh and perfectly balanced in flavor.“

“Childhood memory. Service is ok not super friendly but it’s normal as most HK restaurants service are similar to the Vietnamese service. This is their culture. I like their interior design and atmosphere. The portion is very small.I ordered Thai chicken feet and half of the plate is lettuce. Wont order this dish anymore.“

“DELICIOUS food for EXCELLENT price!! Very authentic with Thailandese cooks, very delicious food, good music. The dish Pad Khing was my favorite, followed by the red curry and the pad thai. The dishes are very well-served with a lot of food. We ordered the lunch combo (from 11:30am to 3pm, which is $14.99 per plate and all the plates go accompanied with rice and salad and 2 spring rolls).Vegetarian options: There are vegan options.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options.“

“We have now gotten take out 3x in a row from here so I feel like it’s safe to say that we love this place! It has been challenging to find good and reasonably priced South East Asian take out and this is so much better than what I was expecting! I feel like I’m eating the food of my childhood. So far, we’ve had just the Pineapple Fried Rice and Coconut Curry Soup and both have been fantastic! The Gyozas are also very good! I took a point off for atmosphere because I don't think this is the kind of place that is intended for dine-in anyway, but it's clean and fairly spacious for the size should you wish to stay. The food was also ready right on time and the portion size was quite generous.“

“Cheap and cheerful neighbourhood gem. I usually come for the $16 lunch special which includes salad and a spring roll. My favourite is the seasonal vegetables in a garlic sauce, or the pad Thai. Friendly staff, typically ornate decor. Spotless bathrooms. Simple, healthy food beautifully presented. They do a large take out business with the hospital staff.Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan if fish sauce is omitted. Rice noodles are usually gluten free. Vegetarian Spring rolls are particularly good here“

The cast and crew absolutely loved all of the asian fusion dishes they made over our 3 day shoot. “We had such an excellent meal here! Some of the best Thai food I've had since moving to the Vancouver area!! The phad Thai was incredible and the duck curry or Geang Phed Ped-Yang(Barbecue duck in a red curry sauce with fresh Thai basil, cherry tomatoes and pineapple) was phenomenal ? There were a couple bones still left on the duck meat so be careful when chewing. HIGHLY recommend this place if you want an extremely good authentic Thai cuisine!!! Will be going here for our Thai food from now on ?“
