“My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. If you are looking for a restaurant that has absolutely amazing service, delicious food, and a beautiful view you need to dine at Ulis. Highly recommend!“

“Recommended by the French gang. Christophe is serious about his chocolates and viennoiseries. Never disappointed. Chocolate bike guy ain't got nothing on him 😂 You can also buy the croissant and pains au chocolat Frozen and make them at home. My god the proof on those is amazing“

“I walked into White Rock Natures Fare this morning at opening. Had the Best experience ever. First off, I was buying some wellness products on sale day. Tia, at the cosmetic counter, was outstanding with her knowledge, honesty, and charm. I did not feel pressured in any way,. Tia!!!! Your the Best. :). then i was looking at some out door plants, and Stephan the produce manager took it upon himself, to bring more to show me from the back. “Their service is good and so is their coffee. But I did barf up the mocha that I had yesterday. I ordered a mocha with three espresso shots. I deduced that something in it wasn't right and caused my stomach to react. But I've been to Wood's before and I usually enjoy their coffee and their shop's ambience. Lots of seating and easy parking. I arrived around 1 PM and there were a few spots available. There’s a coffee shop inside the bakery. I haven’t tried their coffee yet, but the bakery itself is amazing. The muffins are delicious and the buttery cake was sweet and yummy. Can’t wait to come back and try more!“

However the food at Great Blue Heron Grill was absolutely delicious, the staff was just the right level of attentive, and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for on our night out. Service staff were very good. Food was great as well. Portions sizes were pleasantly bigger than I had expected. Prices aren't the cheapest but portions size made up for that. After ordering, food was quick to be served. Again, the service staff were on top of everything. Really good experience on this occasion.“

Everything was perfect from start to finish.
Coconut calamari was delicious.
Crispy shrimp bowl also a winner, delicious vegetables. Lots of leftovers for lunch the next day...just as delicious the second time.
Seafood risotto was amazing.
The maple créme brulee...in a word...divine.
Our waiter was very professional and attentive...couldn't have asked for a better evening.

“They were running a bit behind on our starter order, but the manager came over to apologize and explained it had been sent to the wrong table. Then our tofu dragon bowl arrived with a piece of chicken in it, and since we’re all vegetarians, we flagged it right away.

Credit where it’s due, the server and manager handled it like pros. They owned the mistake instantly, removed the dish from the bill, offered to remake it (which we declined as we were full), and even knocked another $15 off.

“We order from Pizza Pizza quite regularly and generally enjoy the food and service. I just wanted to share a feedback regarding online orders.
We have noticed that the pizza boxes are usually not sealed when we receive our orders. It would feel more appropriate and reassuring if a little extra care were taken to seal the box, especially for online or delivery orders. This adds to a sense of hygiene, professionalism, and customer care.

Sealing the box would also give customers greater confidence that the order has been handled carefully from the store to delivery. It may seem like a small detail, but it makes a positive difference in the overall experience.“

While the menu was updated and no longer offers my favourite dish I ended up trying something new which was great. I enjoyed a free birthday dessert which was wonderful.
