Uncover White Rock's Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“It was busy and only one server who was running off her feet. She was doing a great job but we did wait quite a while for our initial water and then for refills. Chicken was a little tough but flavour of the dishes were excellent. Overall thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and food and drink.“
“My boyfriend and I have eaten here three times since moving to the area THEY ARE AMAZING! The service is absolutely amazing, we’ve had two different waiters and they were outstanding. The hostess were so communicative about wait time and very attentive. The food is absolutely wonderful and so are the drinks. The location is beautiful. If I could give this place more stars, I absolutely would.“
“This was my second time at Salsa and Guacamole and it was wonderful. I called a head of time and made a reservation for myself and 6 other people, and we had such a good time. The service here is amazing. Everyone is so kind and hospitable. Thankyou for making us feel so welcome and the fabulous food. One of my favorite places to eat out.“
“Our go to Mexican restaurant when we cross the border to grab gas. Service is quick and you get the same fresh quality of food every time you order. It is located between Starbucks and the gas station so the area can get busy especially in the summer time. Great place to dine outside and be by the water.“
“My wife and I dropped in for lunch today, on the basis of a Google search. Only one table was occupied when we arrived, but it started to fill up quickly. There's no table service; you place your order at the till and pick it up when it's ready, which happens quickly! I ordered the chile relleno and a couple of chicken tacos, while my wife chose the "3-pack" of enchiladas...one each of pork, chicken and beef. We got started with salsa and chips, which look like they're made in-house and are very tasty. The food was ready in a matter of minutes, and looked beautiful on the plates. The chile relleno was fabulous, and the soft tacos were far and away the best I've ever eaten. My wife raved about the enchiladas and decided that the pork was her favourite. It's probably a good sign that, by the time we left, we seemed to be the only people there who weren't speaking Spanish! Between the food, the music, and our neighbours, it felt like we slipped away to Mexico for lunch. Great experience and we will definitely go back!“
“All of the staff at this location are super friendly and go above and beyond. Sneha is fantastic, lovely, and always a pleasure when I go there for my lunch break. 10/10 experience. (Not to mention their quesadillas and burrito bowls are exceptional)“
“The Mexican taco shop provided a fantastic fast-food experience. The tacos were expertly crafted with fresh ingredients, delivering a burst of flavor in every bite. The variety of salsas offered a delightful range of heat levels, perfect for different preferences. The lively atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a quick and delicious meal. The friendly and knowledgeable staff further contributed to the overall positive and efficient fast-food dining experience. A must-visit for taco enthusiasts looking for genuine Mexican taste on the go.“
“Huge location. This is the 3rd location I've went to and don't need to go to Vancouver anymore! Great areas for the kiddos. We went close to closing and they were still happy to have us have a quick bite. The salsa options are always one of the “
“Absolutely LOVE this hole-in-the wall. Tacos like I used to get in east and south LA when I lived there. You can't find good Mexican food like this in metro Vancouver (good = the stuff that comes off food trucks and mom and pop taquerias in America). In addition to birria (braised beef) they have the weird cuts I love like cabeza (cow head meat) and off-menu lengua (cow tongue), which I understand from the owner could be added to the menu. The quirky location (in an indoor golf place) just adds to its charm. To the diner who complained about them serving "mushy" carne asada, it was the birria you had, because they don't feature carne asada on the menu. Birria, which is their specialty, is shredded beef braised in a rich stew. It's uncommon here but as good as anything you can find down south. I hope they succeed and expand, because we need alternatives to the awful Viva Mexico and the just-alright Adelicia's in Langley.“

“Hello guys, it’s been ages I haven’t been to a mucho Burrito, however my co-worker insisted we went and sure enough. Ordering took no time, staff was very polite and nice, food was well made and so good I didn’t get to take a picture?“
“I came to Surrey on training exercise for work and was happy to find that there were numerous burritos/ taco places in town because the local restaurant in Nanaimo is under new management that has taken a dive for the worst.I tested out a couple of places that were average at best and then, to my pleasant surprise, I found quesada burrito right beside the fitness world location closest to me.It's night and day to barburrito in Nanaimo. The staff is always happy, the food is always fresh, then they are far from stingy with the toppings.I was also impressed with the variety of sauces they have.If you like burritos, I 100% would recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.“
“Quesada is definitely worth a visit. The tacos and burritos are delicious, and the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, making sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. I always leave Quesada feeling satisfied and happy with my experience.Parking: A lot of open spots in plaza“
“I absolutely love this restaurant!! The service is amazing and the food is delicious. The mole sauce is very authentic and i come here especially for the enchiladas mole. Will keep coming here always!!Kid-friendliness: They’re happy to make kid friendly options. My son usually has cheese quesadillas and he raves about the ones he gets from Zapoteca.“
