The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly presented. Every bite felt worth it! I especially loved the way they balanced the spices and quality of ingredients.

What we ordered:
We normally get 3-5 family dinners, depending how many of us go.
-green bean in soy sauce: 9/10, the green beans always have a crunch in every bite and the soy sauce is very flavorful
-salt & pepper shrimp: 100/10, have to eat while it’s served! the hotter the better, the shrimp is fried and coated with garlic, salt and pepper, one of our family favorites here!
-compound chicken: 9/10, served with zucchini and peanuts, has a minor spicy level
-chicken salad: 10/10, comes with lettuce, wontons and peanut dressing that’s sweet
-green tea: 10/10

All family dinners are served with sizzling rice soup, egg roll, pot sticker, foiled chicken & steamed rice per dinner”

“Never been in this place but heard the food is very good. Went in and they had a great choice to choose from but decided to play it safe on my first visit. Order the Roast Beef Dip with fries. I’m telling you the meat was so tender, au jus was perfect and the bread was so fresh I would have bet it just came out of the oven. Add to that some friendly service and all equals a Great! Lunch, I’ll be back to experience other menu items.”

The service was spectacular. I ordered the chicken salad extra chicken and dim sum Duck the Duck was tender moist juicy flavorful absolutely spectacular. The chicken salad was absolutely loaded with chicken fresh lettuce, crisp wonderful everyone enjoyed their meal. The Peking pork chops were outstanding the wonton soup nine out of 10 if you want real authentic Chinese food this is the place to go.”

The food was soooo fresh, EVERYONE from the gentleman that took my order to the cashier and the sweet lady that gave us our order were so pleasant. Our order was SPOT ON! Extra bread, Extra sauce and a great staff made my first visit definitely one that will bring my family and my boys friends back over and over again ❤️ Funny Story: My beautiful cat Shadow kept pacing by us from the moment we walked in our home with the food and he finally couldn't take it and sat along side us to get a closer view of what he wanted. When I walked away to grab a Napkin he decided this was the moment to get his first taste of Clovis's Raising Canes's 🤣😻 I love my fur babies and WE LOVE RAISING CANE'S!!”

“Quality, service and location! Everything was great. I had the empanadas and she recommended me to get 1(chicken) 1 (chorizo) and 1 (pastor) and oh my it was DELICIOUS!! We also got a burrito of asada and it was such a clean and tasty burrito! The tortillas for the tacos or freshly made. I AM SO HAPPY to finally find a good taco truck.”

“Needed a refreshing drink during my lunch. I picked up a to go order from Tokyo steakhouse then came here to get a drink. It was refreshing. I had the energizer. It was fresh. Not sugary. Great tasting and satisfying. I enjoyed that it was an adult juice. Not full of chemicals and fake ingredients but simple and tasty. This is my kinda spot. The large was only 12$ and it was a good size a little exspensive but for fresh ingredients and since they need to make some money i get it and didnt feel like a rip off. Will return to try other options someday.”

“Edit: I wrote my review before reading others. I have to say the portions are normal for this type of food, as I've said Iove & eat this often. I learned the servers and family, hence the family feel. Walking into this place for over 20 years, it finally feels like a place to enjoy. Since theyve been open less than 6 months, I give them time to add to the walls and create a personal touch that's more family feel.

I love Mediterranean food, and this place was great! I had the chicken and got both rices (pilaf & yellow) i was surprised to like the yellow more... so tasty! My date had the burger (that's not a burger, but meat in a pita) and garlic fries. The garlic fries are the best I've had: you know, garlic but not too much that you cant eat a lot of it... these were perfect! And for dessert, you have to try the Kanefe... in person since it's served warm. The fine texture of the shredded phyllo elevated the taste and the fine texture! Sorry no pics, I was too focused on eating... guess I just have to go back again soon for pictures! 5 stars all the way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“So this place is in the Fosters Freeze i grew up going to afterlife league games. When I found out the owners refused to sell the property to Starbucks, and planned to open a family owned and operated Mexican restaurant I was beyond happy. What is more is that the home made recipes, the housemate tortillas, and the welcoming vibe make for a great addition to downtown Clovis.

“Visited here at lunch time on a Sunday. We ordered the birria grilled cheese, the sliders, the crinkle fries, and the raspberry sweet tea. We walked over to Ampersand while waiting, the total wait time was 25 minutes, so not bad. The birria grilled cheese was delicious, it was great that it was served with consome. The crinkle cut fries were good, but I wasn’t a fan of the sliders. The raspberry sweet tea was very yummy, it is sweet though so if you normally like plain tea then this is not for you. Overall, I will be back again for the birria grilled cheese, it’s big enough to share.”

“Flavor experience! Bright, crisp vegetables! Genuine flavors! Excellent meat quality! Savory sauces! My daughter had the value combo meal with chicken rice bowl and side of veggies with a drink (under 10). I had the taco trio with chicken, steak and spicy chicken tacos(under 10). We absolutely LOVED IT. Good service with patience answering all of my questions because it was my first time ever to a WaBa Grill. Good menu selection. Prices were good, didn't break the bank. Dining room is simple but sufficient. We will definitely be back for THAT FLAVOR!!

“Transplant from L.A. and if there’s anything I miss from there, it’s the abundant food options especially the “anotojito” shops like La Michoacana.

Okay now let me review the treats. We went with the scoop of ice cream with churros. Selected abuelita chocolate ice cream. It was true to the abuelita flavor and oh so good! The churros were yummy a smaller version of the now extinct Costco churro but just as good. For just under $8, it’s a pretty good deal because it was the perfect amount to share for two of us (just having had dinner).

And I don’t have to drive to the hood for it?!?!? Yasss!!!! Big come-up for Clovis culturally and culinarily. 💙😋”
