“It has a good, easy location for tower district parking. Service was good. Food was a 3 stars, had fish & chips that were nothing past ok. Always very loud, but is always like that. Cocktails were 2 stars, my friend (& heard others) sending drinks back, margaritas full of salt ... new bartender?“

“Easy after-work option for me, on a Monday when many restaurants are closed. I sat at the bar, with a view to the kitchen. Staff were attentive and pleasant. There is cultural music in the background but it isn't at alarming levels and conversations are occurring all around me. They have booths and tables. A little kid just skated through the restaurant on their wheelies, so you could say it's both relaxed and family friendly. I had the short rib burrito which was amazing and huge. I ate only half and am taking the remainder to go. Complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and spicy and I declined a refill on them. The short rib burrito comes dry, so the other photos must show the wet burrito option, which I didn't get. The view of the bartending was great with both mixed drinks and giant margaritas going out. Seeing the bar sink and kitchen I felt good about dining here. One minor trash can near the register was pretty full but they are also quite busy for the dinner rush. I shall be back! A great value and nice people.“

“This was our first time here. The food was excellent service was great. Got the steak salad. A bacon chessburger with tater tots. steak bites. And french fries and boneless wings will definitely be back again to try other menu items thank “
“Nice dive bar. Going through some management changes. Lots of seats for the size of bar. Prices are fair. Could use a decent pool cue or six, all of the ques were in horrible condition. The table was dirty too. But....pool was free too, so what can you expect. Nice bartenders. Check out Adrianna on Mondays and Thursdays I thinks.“

“Well they have a good menu to choose from. This last visit I ordered pork chops eggs and hash browns the portions was correct the only complaint I have was with the hash browns and that was taken care of by their helpful waitperson. So give this place a try you might find a favorite meal and have a beer, glass of wine, or soda they have it covered“

“It's my favorite spot to go in Tower. The food and drinks start at $5, so you can dine on a budget if you want. The cocktail list is really where it's at, but they have plenty of good beers on tap normally also. I would skip Sequoia every time you come down to Tower and do this instead. If there were more places like the Lincoln, the world would be a better place. Great concept, they nailed it! Cheers“
“This place is amazing, especially on Valentine’s Day. Two years ago my husband messed up our dinner reservations (since Valentine’s Day is also my birthday). He called here and they said to come on by and they made dinner so romantic with candles, a nice dinner and a rose. So for my birthday this year, I asked to go back. Last year I was pregnant. Boy did they pull through again. For a bar, they pulled out all the stops. It was like going to Fleming or Ruth Chris, but no wait or better deal. Dinner came with a salad, shrimp, two sides and perfectly done prime rib. Then came with cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. It was like eating heaven. Everything tasted so good. Plus the bartender is like the sweetest gal. She knows her drinks. My husband and I got Skewball and coke and man did she make the best ones I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place for anyone and will definitely come back next year for my birthday. My husband and I have also been here just as a bar to go to and their regular bar food is just as good. The atmosphere is perfect. It’s a such a fun, small bar.“

“We've gone to many Applebee's but this was our first time at this location. The service here was incredibly fast from start to finish. Kelsey was our waitress and wow; she was so punctual and the food came out so fast and fresh! We might forgo other locations and have this become our main one. Highly recommend ?“

“I was thinking I need a good burger and shake in my life. Slater's did not disappoint. McD's can not compete at this level. The Lucky mint shake (which is not in season anymore) was the best minty shake. The burger was great, juicy, and done to order. The Brussel sprouts were great too. No complaints from the kids if you are trying to get them to eat their greens.“

“We had a great experience. Alfredo was our waiter and he was nice, fast and very attentive. Food and drinks were good. Virtual reality games had sani-wipes next to them with a compact trash can next to it. I was extremely happy to see that. 10/10. Definitely will be back!“

“Dog House Grill, located at 2789 E Shaw Ave in Fresno, offers a quintessential American grill experience, distinguished by its vibrant atmosphere and robust menu selections. As a frequent visitor, I can attest to the consistent quality and service that make this restaurant a local favorite. The establishment excels in serving up hearty, flavorful dishes with a focus on BBQ and grilled favorites. Their tri-tip sandwiches are a standout, featuring tender, perfectly smoked meat that's richly seasoned and served on a fresh, soft roll. Equally impressive are their BBQ ribs, which are fall-off-the-bone tender and smothered in a deliciously tangy sauce. One of Dog House Grill's strongest suits is its lively and welcoming atmosphere. The sports bar vibe is enhanced by multiple screens broadcasting live sports, making it an ideal spot for game days. Despite the bustling environment, the noise level is well-managed, allowing for enjoyable conversations.Service here is prompt and efficient, with staff members who are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. During my visits, I've found the waitstaff to be exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu, eagerly offering recommendations based on personal preferences and dietary needs. The restaurant also offers a selection of beers on tap, which includes local brews and well-known favorites, providing a perfect complement to their savory dishes.Parking can sometimes be challenging due to the restaurant's popularity, especially during peak hours, but this minor inconvenience is a testament to the quality and appeal of Dog House Grill. In summary, Dog House Grill is a must-visit for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Fresno.
