“Honestly, some of the best sushi I've ever had! I ordered the Nemo & Gyoza. The setup in the place is so cute, cozy and intimate. Definitely a place for family or date night. Sadly, the service was mediocre. My empty glass sat empty for atleast 20 minutes. But in all fairness, it was close to mid-afternoon closing time and I'm sure they had a ton of side work. It's just you know, when you pay for a pricey lunch you want everything to be spectacular!!”

My wife's pizza carbonora was much better than my sausage and garbanzo pasta which was stripped to the basics. (Even a sprig of parsley would have helped. Or a few black olives or a piece of bread or almost anything.) Between the two meals, I would rate the food at 3.5 if I could.Eating out in this tier of restaurant is getting hard for me to justify. $73 before tip for a medium pizza, a bowel of meaty pasta, one appetizer, and one beer. No bread, no butter, no soup or a salad. Just the mains and a $14 appetizer. At these prices I can not justify my formerly generous tipping standards.”

This Indian restaurant truly stands out with its flavorful and perfectly spiced dishes that tantalize the taste buds.The Paneer Tikka Masala was the star of the meal – the paneer was soft and succulent, bathed in a rich, creamy tomato sauce that had just the right level of spice. The Garlic Naan was another delight, fresh out of the oven, with a perfect balance of buttery and garlicky flavors that complemented the masala wonderfully.I also tried the Veg Samosa Chaat, which was a revelation in itself. “Good place. Lots of menu options. Friendly lady took my order. They didn’t seem overly busy, but it took a while for orders to come out. I think that’s partly due to orders being prepared when needed, as opposed to things sitting around waiting to be served. The food was good; I got the gyro entree plate. The restaurant has some nice posters and prints on the walls, but a pretty sparse interior. I would go there again.”

“Chai latte was great. It has a nice spiced taste to it. Not that many pastries to choose from but the few they have will satisfy your cravings. Service was good. The hidden location seems like it fits the shop, but the only negative of that is that there's no way of locating it without any signage. But I figured if you have a great product you can be in any building and people will find you.”

“Danny the owner was INCREDIBLY nice and hospitable to us. We came in hungry and left full and wings were hot and BIG! Honestly best bang for your buck when it comes to local wings. This is our place and we highly recommend the Monday and Tuesday .70cent wings!! What a deal man! The wings are big and juicy and always hot and fresh. Lots of sauce and flavors to choose from. I think my favorite wing flavor Is the Garlic Parm and then Asian Zing, you can’t go wrong with the honey bbq either?Also the fries are super good ?”

“Wow!! I had the Filet Mignon, medium rare, and it was quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. Really!! I have eaten at this restaurant, tucked away at the Wyndham hotel quite a lot over the last few years. Because it is a hotel restaurant, it is a bit pricey, the food is sooo worth it. I cannot remember ever having a bad meal here. This is a full service restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with full bar service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. So make the trip out to Mahogany's, it's definitely worth it...?.My friend stayed here two weeks ago while on business. She had the French dip and here is my filet. YUM!!!”

“UPDATE: Stopped by The Pickled Deli upon the owner's request for a redo of my previous purchase. What a difference, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect ratio of meat/cheese to toppings and the bread had a little chew to it but wasn't super thick. Everything was really fresh and very flavorful and my first bite let me know that giving them another try was so worth it. It's always good to give a business a second opportunity to win you over.”

“Whenever we are in visalia we always make a stop here. They have a ton of taps, mainly from the Lake Bottom Brewey, but a bunch of guest handles, too. I usually just a flight and share beers, but I have also eaten here, too. Pub food type menu hits the spot sometimes. Anyways, the service is always good (as long as you venture to the back bar area --the first couple times i saw people upset because the front entrance area sometimes gets ignorned. I didn't even realize there is a back section until the 3rh time we were in lol). The girls that work the bar are always kind and funny. Check it out if in the area”

“Went here on a Thursday evening. The place wasn't too packed. Ample parking across the street on the empty parking lot or on the street. Located inside the Darling. No reservations.We sat at the bar for their Dueling Bartenders night. Every Thursday, the 2 bartenders concoct their own cocktail based on the style of liquor. We went during bourbon night. We also decided to eat here too. I ordered their Seafood Pasta and 3 cocktails. Bartenders were very attentive and the food arrived quick. The seafood Pasta was very delicious and they were generous with the portion of seafood too.Overall, a great place to have dinner and drinks. I always like to use the stairs to get to the restaurant to get an exercise in and to appreciate the Art Deco architecture (the majority of the decorative items are original and restored). The bartenders know to make their cocktails, so just coming here for cocktails alone make it worth it. They also have $10 tequila nights on Tuesdays. Highly recommend coming here.”

My husband had the Mongolian Beef and Chicken; it definitely had a kick to it but not unbearable. I ordered the Beijing Chow mien with shrimp and it had a kick as well but milder than the Mongolian Beef and Chicken. I think we paid an average of $16 for each plate. I felt like it was a great value for the quality and quantity. I literally drove from Tulare to Visalia because none of the Chinese food in Tulare is that good. I will definitely make that drive now when I want Chinese food. Highly recommend!”

“There is a big issue with your phone orders so that needs fixing(most the time your App doesn’t work) some stores have too few employees and are under stress, the kiosks don’t work a lot of the time, the bathrooms only have 1 toilet and 1 urinal in the Men’s which is always a pain. There are a lot of people going in and out of your stores so larger bathrooms would be very helpful.”

“This place is located in the south east part of Visalia off Ben Maddox on the west end of Mary's Vineyard shopping center. It's small and quaint but the service is good and fast. They have reasonable lunch specials for takeout between 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. The Pad Thai lunch specials are very generous and easily a 2 meal entree. It comes with Pad Thai and your choice of meat, a veggie egg roll and a heaping spoon full of steamed white rice. It's lunch for 2 days. They put the crushed peanuts in a separate container. The soups are very good and the Tom Kha will set you right if you're feeling under the weather. They offer spicy levels and if you like stuff spicy then go with a high number. Their iced Thai tea is delicious and never disappoints. This is a popular spot for Asian food because it's simple and good. The prices are reasonable and the service is awesome. Sometimes the egg roll may be a little greasy and not so crispy but this restaurant is consistent about delivering great service and tasty Asian cuisine.”

The sandwich was very good and enjoyed by my friend. Every other dish was either under-seasoned, undercooked, or overcooked. It’s unfortunate that there were all these tiny things, but together they amounted to a larger failure. Sweet potato waffle fries: way overcooked. Shrimp pasta: pasta under-seasoned, shrimp wrong blackening spice and overcooked. Both pizzas: doughy and uncooked, not handmade. Steak: rare instead of medium and under-seasoned. Brussels sprouts: undercooked and under-seasoned.Our service was good and friendly. Staff was very nice. Overall, it was close of great, but just didn’t get there. I wish them the best. They are so great to add chips and salsa as well as all the accoutrements needed as if I was dining in. Tonight's order was the taco trio with chicken, carne asada and carnitas. I got one of each. The other entree was flautas de maiz. Basically very large taquitos. I chose chicken as the meat. The cojita cheese and pickled onions really added a special flavor to this and included was 2 containers of guac, a sour cream, and salsa. Their service is great and lots of easy parking. Tonight's order was ready in 5 minutes. The only reason for four stars is that it is expensive. These 2 entrees were over $26.”

“I don't understand how this place has such a low rating. We tried it for lunch and it was GREAT! I got a $5 mango margarita - delish. For my main dish, I ordered chimichanga with shredded beef and red sauce. It was cooked perfectly and was served with a dollop of sour cream and guac. Our waitress was pleasant and quick.
