“My daughter and I did a cake decorating session here and Yana was wonderful and so welcoming! She had so many toppings and fillings to choose from and let us use all the professional tools. My 3 year old absolutely loved it and made the cutest cake complete with fresh fruit. The shop is very clean and a great fun environment to work in. She even put on Disney music for us while we decorated which was a big hit with my daughter. Would definitely go back! It would be an excellent venue for a little girls birthday party or just a girls day out. I booked online through her website and it was very easy.“

But it’s not just the delicious cookies that have won our hearts—it's the incredible kindness and warmth of the people behind them.

We had come in with 6 excited kids in tow and their disappointment was so evident when we saw that they were already closed. We were ready to leave when, to our surprise, some of the owners had noticed their disappointment. Instead of sending us on our way, they asked what flavors we were hoping for. “Had these bundt cakes at a birthday party on Saturday evening and they were fantastic. I tried the vanilla, red velvet, and chocolate. All were really good. I especially liked the chocolate one. Rich chocolate flavor, moist, with just the right amount of frosting. I appreciate that the frosting wasn't too sweet so that the flavors weren't overpowered. Lots of attention to all details made for outstanding results.“

“Delicious as always! Truly never disappoints. You can get your drinks less sweet if you want to cut the sugar a bit, especially after enjoying some sweet or savory breads. The hotdog bread, brioche, milk bun and taro are some of my favorites. Also, the Deluxe Chocolate Mousse is to die for!!! Drinks are consistent- my fave is the Seasalt coffee with coffee jelly & my sister loves the Thai Tea Boba.

“We can't rave enough about Kaye's Cake Designs! We had a last minute thought to get a Mother's Day custom cake made with figures of my Brother, Sister and I as kids. Kaye even included our cat. She matched the pictures we sent in perfectly and even had us wearing the exact same outfits. She is so very talented and the attention to detail was amazing. We couldn't stop looking at it. She loves Red Velvet cake so I picked up a half dozen cupcakes including Red Velvet. Turned out to be the perfect surprise. She loved everything about the cupcake. Moist with a great frosting. Now it is Mother's Day so I am heading over to Sweet Arleen's for more tasty treats. Saved the day, thanks.“

The apple fritter is never oily and the edges are perfect! The maple flavoring they use never tastes like chemicals which is how many donut shops maple tastes these days. I love their maple old fashioned and maple bar (long john if you’re from the Midwest or east coast). I stop here any time I’m within 5 miles because they are just that good.“

Their custard bites (donut hole-style) are absolutely incredible, and the tiger tail donut is a must-try—beautifully done and delish. The fillings here are next level—custard, lemon, raspberry—they're all amazing.

The croissant breakfast sandwich was just okay for me—the croissant itself was flaky and perfect, but the sandwich filling was just so-so. Still, that’s the only minor critique in an otherwise stellar experience.
