“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“This place is ten minutes from my house but the Angeleno along us is the one who found it and invited us there! Nice outdoor seating if you don’t want to be indoors; the cute menu includes vegetarian options and nice cocktails (though not poured deep); we lived our options. I got the impossible taco salad (Impossible crumbles replaced regular hamburger taco meat); my son had a Pepperoni flatbread; he pointed out to us that (per the menu)a dollar from every sale of that pizza goes to children’s charities. Gotta like a place that gives back! 💙 The Reuben was phenomenal. The wait staff was pleasant, courteous, and cheerful. We will be back!“

I called around to several places and with very slow response times and abruptness directing me back to the website for Uber delivery. The host and manager Spencer followed up on the order and went out of the way to make sure it was a great experience for the group and the stressed out person (me:) trying to coordinate for the group. Offers great drink options and also an extensive wine list (by the glass or bottle). Some of the standout dishes are the "pan roasted wild mushrooms", "braised short ribs", filet mignon & branzino. For dessert the "wonder bar" is a must!“

“I had a wonderful stay at Malibu Beach Inn! The hotel facilities were truly exceptional. The location right on the beach is absolutely stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing! Malibu Beach Inn exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a luxurious and unforgettable beachfront experience. “This is an overall great place for a group setting. It was too hot to eat outdoor but there is a nice patio. It's in a large shopping mall so not a particularly romantic setting. However, the meals are reasonably priced. We really liked the fact that we could have separate checks.“

“Real crab in the burrito-peefect.The Cancun burrito which had grilled fish and real crab, had an amazing flavor. It comes with tortilla which is great with the salsa bar. Great flavors, ch I ices and pther items at the self service bar. Especially the Habanero. Staff are welcoming and friendly which is a high point. I wished the burrito was a little larger, but with the chips amd crab is filling. I cannot wait to come back again. Overall, 10/10. Flavor 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Chill place to eat inside or on the patio.“

“We had a fantastic experience at Urban Cafe on Tapo Canyon! I came in with my daughters, who were having a hard time deciding what to order. The manager, Bridget, was absolute magic—she was so patient and offered several wonderful suggestions.
Thanks to her recommendations, my girls ended up loving their kids' grilled cheese and the Baja enchilada soup. On top of the incredible food and service, you have to save room for dessert. Their cookies are displayed right next to the registers, making them virtually impossible to resist, and they taste even better than they look!

It's familar, and also nice, but not pretentious. “Sunset Terrace is my "GO TO" social and sports bar in Thousand Oaks and I frequent 3 times a week. By far they have the best happy hour on weekdays 3 - 7 pm. (Drinks - 50% off / Food - 25% off). They have plenty of pool tables, big screen TVs, and the only bowling alley (4 lanes) in town. The crowd is mostly locals who welcome newbies and make them feel right at home. The bartenders and servers are friendly and efficient and I rate their food a #10. The have security and I like the fact that never have I seen a fight there. “Right around the corner from our hotel - The Anza. We were able to change our reservation from 7:15 to 6:30 since our room wasn't ready - the hostess was very accommodating. Servers are all so friendly. The food is delicious - pear and burrata appetizer, salmon bow tie pasta, eggplant Parmesan. The salad and salad dressing was excellent too!!! The strawberry lemon drop was perfect. We dined on the patio - it was so pleasant and not loud. I would highly recommend Rosti.“

“Cinepolis Westlake is a bit of a mixed bag right now. On the positive side, the sound quality is fantastic and the staff/service is always excellent and attentive. However, the auditoriums are desperately in need of an upgrade. The seats only slightly recline, squeak loudly every time you shift your weight, and are actively falling apart. I left the theater with the physical memory of the film—and literal pieces of the chair's peeling fabric stuck to my clothes. Come for the audio, but wear clothes you don't mind getting covered in fake leather flakes.“

“We liked it so much we had to go two days in a row. Service was good especially the bar staff on the patio. First day, hubby had the burger…amazing and I had the Tortilla salad…wow!! The white iced tea was refreshing. The second day we shared the crab cakes and the Lobster sliders and those can’t be beat!! The mimosas were delicious because they fresh squeeze the orange juice every morning. If we lived closer this would be a spot we would frequent! It is a must if you are at the Seaport Village in San Diego!!“

The dining room glows at golden hour, with huge open windows that bring the ocean right into your table. It’s such a classic Malibu experience — warm, relaxed, and never overcrowded. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which is rare for a beachfront spot. Our server was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and timed perfectly so we could enjoy the sunset without feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a true “Malibu evening” — great food, ocean views, and that effortless coastal vibe — this is the place. Always a solid choice for locals and visitors alike.“

“This is my favorite Hotel in Chiang Rai BECAUSE OF THE STAFF! I come often, and all the staff is so remarkable in their cheer, friendliness, calling me by name, and helpful in every detail! The managers are wonderful! They welcome me by name and give the red carpet treatment! The Chefs and those in the restaurant bend over backwards for me, in making my favorite dishes, even if it is NOT on the menu! The house girls cleaning the rooms take care of me with the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen!! Last, and most definitely not least, are the bellboys! They are all incredibly helpful, pleasant, and humorous! TOY and NOPE and WAVE are exceptional! They run to meet me at my car, with the warmest welcome, taking ALL my bags and luggages, and welcoming me so warmly. They ask me about my work, my health, and make me feel like their family!!!! THIS does not happen in other hotels! I travel extensively in Thailand to 5 star hotels, and also in other countries. I love the Restaurant Chefs and Staff! Last night they made Sticky Rice especially for me as I had to work late! Am, Corn, Tarn, Jasmine, Wan, and Perk are so attentive, and wonderful!!! Because of this hotel, I always want to stop in Chiang Rai. I also have talked to the young owners, and gave suggestions and ideas...which they carried out! That doesn't happen elsewhere! So JOIN me here at Grand Vista. Although the rooms, food, pool, and facilities are wonderful...it's the STAFF that will impress you!! It's the STAFF that will make you come back!!
