We stopped by Shaka Shack for breakfast and had such a nice experience! The food was delicious, comforting, and had that wonderful homemade, homey feel that makes you want to stay awhile.

Shaka Shack is a Hawaiian-inspired brunch spot with a cozy atmosphere and live music. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including the popular da kine plate, Kai's plate lunch, and the big kahuna loco moco, which is a huge plate filled with three meats, egg, fried rice, and macaroni salad. The dishes are often flavorful and saucy, but some may benefit from an extra element to take them to the next level. The Hawaiian French toast is a highlight, but can be a bit dry. The malasadas, while having good fillings, can be doughy and dry with little filling. The service can be slow, but the outdoor seating area is decent in size.
