“This is a very nice brunch place with reasonable prices and good portions. I had the corned beef hash and was disappointed. It was way under seasoned... needed a lot of salt and pepper, and the corned beef chunks were just okay. My wife had a make your own Benedict and she loved it, but our grandson had French toast and did not think it was very good. Our daughter echoed my comments about the potatoes being under seasoned, although she enjoyed her omelette. Mostly, I was disappointed by the service. It took us about 15 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them, and once we got our food the service person was not particularly visible during the meal. After we finished, the service person kept going in and out of the kitchen but never glanced at us to see if we were ready for the check. So, to summarize, reasonably good food, good portions, pleasant atmosphere, lackadaisical service.“

“We were visiting from out of state and wanted a family friendly brunch. Location was great, parking wasn’t too bad. Wooden spoon was extremely accommodating with our kids. The overall staff were so welcoming and so kind, they took great care of us. The entire menu looked amazing, so we ordered quite a bit. Our food came out very quickly. Each dish was so aesthetically pleasing and delicious. Hands down the best French toast I have ever had in my life. We have never had fresh squeezed oranges in our mimosas before, and it was so incredible. What a way to start our morning! I cannot wait to visit San Fran again just for the French toast, I literally cannot stop talking about it to my husband 😂 Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience.“

“I can not express how impressed and blown away I was visiting Neptune’s today “on accident”. I was driving past neptunes today and we ran into car trouble right in front. We got out and pushed the car into the nearest parking lot which happened to be neptunes. We had just bought a used car in the neighborhood and was trying to make it home and the battery just died. We spent some time pulling out the battery and ran next door to the auto parts store to buy a new one. Out of the blue an employee walked us out some water and said “I saw you out here and it’s hot. Wanted to give you some water and ask if you needed help. “ blown away by his kindness I thanked him but we had it covered. Once we got the battery replaced I decided to get breakfast from Neptune’s to show my thanks for their hospitality. Wow was I blown away. The breakfast was amazing , the coffee on point and the hospitality was unmatched. I give 5 stars for all in. My youngest son said. That guy is a good man! And I agree if you’re looking for good service and great food. Stop here! You won’t regret it.“

They also offer gluten free buns which is a huge thing in my company and I have to have gluten free options with every meal. I will continue to order from Bandit time and time again!“

She’s attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and she always makes sure the food and drinks come out perfect. Honestly, the food is great and the atmosphere is fun — but Lori is what makes this place feel like home.

“We had our 25 yr high school reunion here. It was a lovely set up and all the staff was amazing. The food was yummy. I only had the vegetarian options so to be fair I asked others about the rest of the menu and they all said it was good! The scenery is gorgeous and it's a wonderful event space ✨️ the staff went above and beyond to make our night special and it was just that. We were able to have a photo booth and have a live show playing on all the televisions in the restaurant. Our DJ was great and it really was a whole vibe. The restrooms were clean and tidy ❤️ beautiful venue. I want to check them out on another occasion.“

“Not bad! Definitely room for improvement. Very few gluten-free options. They were out of both flavored matcha drinks. These points were both disappointing for my partner. The menu says they have pastries, but our server said they only have them on weekdays, not on weekends, which doesn’t make any sense. I would assume a brunch restaurant would be the busiest on weekends… But ultimately the food we had tasted good, and it’s a very cute place. I used to get breakfast at Lakeshore Cafe, so I’m glad for its replacement.“

“Delicious, fresh and wholesome food! We were visiting from out of town and just googled breakfast in Berkeley, and this place popped up. So glad we chose it, because our food was delicious. Our group had the lox bagel, breakfast burrito, and the jumpstart breakfast with pancakes and bacon. Everything was quality and cooked well. The smoothies and espresso drinks were also great!“
