Easy access to many local restaurant and very close walk to the ocean. Beautiful place both inside a d out. The restaurant and the the 2 drink freevee for staying was a huge plus. “Coming from the Mexican food capital of the wold San Diego, it is hard to find spots that have the flavor one is used too. We seen the reviews and took a shot. Nice place, little small, but nice, clean, and good atmosphere, to be fair, we all ordered tacos. We had, carne asada, carnitas, pollo asada and birria. The pollo was a little dry but very food flavor and the carne asada was soft and good. Carnitas were very good, flavor and amount of meat in all the tacos were just right. Birria was also real good. The tortialls were corn, soft and good, they not thick and heavy. Salsa was good as well, same as most other taco shops. No Cali Burrtios or Carne Asada fries here, but no problem, good food, resonible price. Family restaurant, all the family works at Mr. G's, owner came out to greet us, as well as one other worker to see if we needed anything else. Great place.“

My friend is allergic to garlic and onions and he went out of his way to check with the Chef only to learn that onions had been fried earlier that day in the same fryer/ oil as my friends French Fries and would have been contaminated. He took our concerns to heart and made sure the food was prepared safely. Bravo Brian!“

The most deliciously crispy, juicy, and mouth watering chicken you will ever eat. Paired with the sauce, I don't think it can get any better. I don't even live near here and I come back just for this.

The other items were tasty and seasoned well but the fried chicken just stole the show for me.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. And for dinner time, we were almost the only ones in the restaurant. For how good the food was, this place needs to be put on the radar!

“Wings were decent, fries were fine. Price was as expected. Loved the variety of the soda machines. I hate having to pay for dipping sauce especially way over priced tiny vials of it. Come on stop charging for it, no one would ever pay for a ketchup packet, why charge people eating wings for ranch or blue cheese!?“

“I always order take-out, so can’t really comment on the atmosphere. But the DIM SUM is great. All very tasty and good. Peking duck is also fantastic. It’s easy to order online for a set time to pick up, even a day ahead. You have to park in the structure, but they validate for pick-ups.

Vegetarian options: One in our household is vegetarian and she enjoys the shrimp and veg options (turnip cakes, garlic noodles, spicy shrimp noodles, shrimp dumplings, shrimp balls, cabbage, etc.“

“I ordered this place many many times. One time I also noticed the “suspicious” fried tofu with black dots on them. I was so angry so I called the owner, they explained to me the crispy tofu soaked with 卤汁 sauce will make the tofu looks like it’s not fresh… I didn’t believe him at first then I poked the black dots and they were really small pockets of sauce…. I don’t think they deserve a 3 star!!! It’s actually really yummy and taste fresh… I often crave this place. Also today when I ordered, I noticed they changed their tofu type and added more bok choy. Thanks for improving and maintaining a good quality!“

“Their specialty dishes are: 1. Sullungtang: taste amazing and very light. A good meal for winter/ 2. Cold noodle: the best I've tried so far, especially when you get a combo with spicy pork or bulgogi 3. Meat: spicy pork/bulgogi was homemade and were not like other korean restaurants. Taste very delicious!“
