“If you haven't been to the The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens for a while... you may not realize they now and growing have 5 different locations to eat within the gardens. Noodle house in the Chinese Gardens, Tea house and patio Cafe in the Rose Garden area. Tea Room now allows you to make reservations on Open Table. Cafe 1919 has a great variety including the Border Grill, Sushi and much more. ... Its all a great compliment to the Fine Art ,gardens ,research and events.... Not a member - The Red Car Cafe and 1919 Cafe are towards the entrance and can be enjoyed by the without entrance fee to the gardens in a great relaxing setting .“

“My first time here. The salad was great. I don't like the fact that I felt like my salad was thrown at me and I also received the wrong order. There were 2 Rebeccas. But again, the salad was delicious and it was a nice portion. I can compare Chop Stop to Simply Salad; they just don't have the ingredients at the front counter and they are more affordable than simply salad. I spent 22.00 here. At SS I ways spent 32.00+ With that being said, I will definitely go back on a regular basis.

“This place is by far the BEST salad spot I've been to in years. There's always parking at ground level, right in front of the restaurant. Usually super short wait to be served. Staff is always friendly, welcoming, efficient! Ambience is clean, minimalist, modern. Great place for a quiet retreat and a refreshing healthy meal. I've also had their salads delivered. #1 organic greens and dressings!“

You know how some restaurants are known for the best pizza slice or the best cut of steak or the best chicken dish? “We love the ambience at gra. And I’m so happy to see more restaurants coming into the many vacant storefronts in this neighborhood. Gra has an incredible vibe. Wonderful service and unbelievably great music. We do wish for two things though. We love traditional full-bodied reds by the glass. They are hard to come by. Stopped by around 8pm the other night and I believe Jeremy was helping me, nice guy and offered good recommendations. I went with the Mortadella focaccia and it was outstanding!

It's served slightly warmed as the focaccia is toasted which offers a nice contrast in temperature and texture from the filing. The bread is out of this world. I know the flavor but it just can't come to me as I write this review, but there is so much flavor packed into the bread, I could buy loaves of that alone. It's crusty on the outside and pillowy on the inside.

The mortadella is piled high with good pieces of pistachio and a slight saltiness. The burrata is creamy and smooth while the pistachio cream offers a nice nuttiness and more rustic flavor to blend everything together. Such simplicity truly makes the best sandwiches.“

Great indoor and outdoor atmoshpere, the chicken schnitzel was delish, TBH the beet salad could have had some more beets, but was still yummy. Didn't take any pics, we were too busy talking lol, but def a great place in Highland Park.“

“We were in town from Palm Springs for the day and went to Little Goat after finding it online. One of the best spur of the moment stops ever - we absolutely loved the pizza and the service was phenomenal, super sweet server. We ordered two pizzas - margarita and the chef’s special apple/walnut/kale/caramelized onion/goat cheese. They were both amazing! We eat a lot of pizza and definitely have a new top favorite. Outdoor seating has both stellar views and people watching; there is a cute patisserie down the street that’s an amazing desert stop for the perfect date night; we will definitely stop by next time we are in town! We will try the house made panna cotta next time. :) Highly recommend checking them out!“

“I stopped by this corner cafe on a whim and ordered an almond milk latte – it was smooth, rich, and exactly what I needed. While I was enjoying my drink near the window, a squirrel on the exterior ledge caught my eye. This little guy seemed oddly interested in my coffee break and kept peering in like we were old friends catching up. It made for a good laugh and somehow added to the charm of the place. Great coffee, friendly staff, and a surprise squirrel encounter – I’ll definitely be back.“

“Top tier sushi experience. They have limited seating in a confined interior, so there will be a long wait during weekends. I waited 45 minutes on Saturday night but it was worth the wait. “This review is for my experience with catering. Due to a mix-up at another restaurant, I had to make last-minute changes to catering plans for a small gathering I was hosting. A couple days before my event, I inquired whether Dune Atwater would be able to fulfill my order.

Leslie the catering director responded the next day and gave recommendations for the size of my event as well as dietary needs. I submitted the order as recommended and picked up the next day.

Food came out on time and they helped load my order into the car. Wow, I was very impressed with the packaging and presentation. Came with quality serving utensils, placards describing the food and ingredients/allergens. Vegetable platter was beautifully arranged with an incredible variety of pickled veggies, salads, and hummus.

Our guests were very impressed by the food presentation, and most importantly, everything was delicious. People who had never eaten at Dune were asking where we catered from. So glad things worked out and we would definitely cater with Dune again.“

“The cutest Mexican diner. My friend and I stumbled upon it while looking for a place to eat before the Magic Market at Heritage Square. Get the wine!! It’s a giant pour for 5.50! The tostada was pretty good and the queso fundido, too. Not enough tortillas to match the toppings, but that’s probably better for my belly anyway ?. Lovely atmosphere and staff.
