This is the best fish and chip left in all of Southern california, with the best most competitive price and a nice quaint restaurant.

I have probably come back here 10-15 times ever since I've written this review - and it only keeps getting better.
If you want to take someone to the best fish and chips in the city, bring them here. This place cannot be beat.

If you have anyone to ask for quality fish and chip in the area, just bring them here. I
promise you - you will be happy.
They have many other things including hush puppies and chicken fingers, but they make the MOST AUTHENTIC ENGLISH fish and chip in the entire Los Angeles area.

“First timer here. The food was good. The fish was fried to perfection, and the portiin size was great. The fish was larger than I had anticipated. The fries were OK ( only because the fish was put on top of it so by the time I went to eat the fries, they were soggy from the Fish). The Cole slaw was delicious.
My kids ordered the chicken strip and I liked that it was battered and fried exactly like thr Fish. Loved the crunch. My only complaint is that it taste like it was fried in the same oil as the fish so the kids said their chicken taste like fish.
The restaurant was not well ventilated. The AC was cranked (I'm assuming for the cooks since I can only imagine that the fryers would get very hot). Unfortunately because the AC was blasting....as a patron, it felt REALLY COLD.
Also, i wish they had a way to vent out the fried food smell. The fried fish smell is very strong when you first step into the restaurant. Obviously over time, you get used to the smell but if they can figure out a good way to air out the place, that would be great.
The guy cooking was extremely fast and efficient..he was the only worker in there and he was knocking out orders left and right.
I would eat here again for sure.
If you are looking for Fish and Chips ... I would definitely give this place a try .

Vegetarian options: I THINK (i don't know for sure) that they fry their onion rings, French fries, and zucchinis in the same oil as their fish,other seafood and chicken so I'm not sure how "vegetarian" that would be.

Every other place where I've tried their fish and chips, I've compared them to Union J's and they have all failed! If you want to have some of the best around and enjoy some treats from the UK (they sell some imported items inside the restaurant) then Union Jack's is your place to go!“

“We were hungry and this was close with a good review. Come here if you are looking for something different than the regular Mexican fare. Pretty much everything on the menu is a unique blend of flavors. They feature three different mole sauces which were all good. I had the trabajo with my dish which had delicious flavor. So if you are looking for an adventure it's a good pick.“

“This fast service restaurant has the best fries in Knott's--crinkle cut and fresh! Right now they are serving Hot Dogs and they have several types to choose from. We have liked all of them so far. This summer they are also having a weekly special, which is always good to have something new to try at each visit to Knotts!

“We originally had reservations at Boil Daddy. Boil Daddy called 7mins before our reservation to let us know they couldn’t accommodate a party of two because they had larger parties coming in.
We came to Raising Claw & it was the best seafood boil bag & customer service. They start you off with complimentary french fries. At the end they offer yummy ice cream. It was an incredible experience. We will definitely visit again.“

“I've been here several times and the food is always cooked perfectly and tastes great. I've ordered several different dishes, and my favorites have been their protein bowls and their battered fish tacos which are perfectly crispy. My only real complaint is that I wish it was spicier or that they offered a hot sauce (they might, but I've never seen it). I will say it does get a bit expensive, but I'm willing to pay for this quality and quantity of food. Also, the service has always been excellent and very helpful.“

“Used to enjoy coming here but recently there food has been declining. Chicken used to taste like it was actually grilled and would be very favorable. Now its taste frozen and has this wierd after taste. Their rice is a bit to chewy.Update* Huge improvement since last time I came. Which ever cook you have now, keep him. Food was amazing once again.
