“I had a "boolkogiburger" from here years ago, pre-covid times, and remembered it being such a great tasting burger, so I decided to bring someone with me to try it out. I was a bit nervous, since I hyped it up, but they did not disappoint! It was just as good as I remembered it, and I was glad to see the owner, an elderly Korean lady, was still there. It took about 25 minutes, but my order could have taken 45 minutes and I would not have cared, as long as it tasted as good as I remembered it. If you're expecting Disney-style service, you're barking up the wrong tree; this is as mom and pop as it gets, in a good way.“

“Food is always amazing here. My family only comes here for Korean BBQ. There are hundreds of other options nearby but you just can't beat the quality of the meat and the service. There's a reason why a line is formed before they open... especially on weekends.“

“Food: 4*
Service: 5*
Ambiance: 5*
Stopped by here with a colleague. We ordered the $19.99 lunch special. He offered to give us a mix of all the different meats on this menu so we could try them. There are specific ban chan you can get like Kimchee, fish cake, potato salad etc. The service was great, very attentive, helpful and friendly. I will return with a larger appetite.“

“Mr BBQ is probably one of the best All You Can Eat Korean BBQ spots you can eat at in Southern California. The whole place has an upbeat and fun vibe. It's a great place for celebrating or having a party, or just as a fun place to go. All of the portions and sides are generous and high quality. The servers are attentive and make everyone feel welcomed (especially on their birthday)
The beef brisket is thin sliced, and unbeatable. Bulgogi is exceptional here, also. They also have a fantastic selection of drinks, especially the craft beer selection they offer.
There is a free parking lot, but at peak hours, it can be hard to find parking. It's not really a problem since you can park on a nearby street and walk over. Can't say enough good things. Its also just extra fun that they always keep up with the seasonal decorations throughout the year.
Vegetarian options: Its possible to make a vegetarian meal here. There are vegetables and other side dishes that can be grilled to make a pretty filling meal.
Dietary restrictions: Its easy to be selective about what you want since you cook it yourself.
Parking: Sometimes parking can be hard to find at peak hours. There is residential parking near by.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family-friendly atmosphere
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and access.“

“When you enter, the delicious aroma hits you immediately. It's not the prettiest place but it has a fun atmosphere none the less. Enjoyed the k-pop playing in the background.
The marinated beef bulgogi was delicious. So was the beef belly. Also, they had 2 flavors of thrifty brand ice cream for dessert. That was an unexpected and tasty surprise.
We will definitely be going again. Next time we will bring the whole family (& friends).“

“I'm a fan of Soy Tofu! It is another local gem. The service is kind and attentive, the dining area is clean, and the vibe is pleasant. The decor is simple and homey.
I've dined here several times already, and each time was fantastic.
My current favorite items:
- Soon Tofu (soups) - mushroom and the beef + seafood with black rice
- The Tofu Combos - if you're a little more hungry, I recommend the BBQ short ribs with the tofu soup
- Dumplings - fried or steamed, they are both excellent!
- The complimentary ice cream!
When you receive the boiling hot tofu soup, immediately add the raw egg and stir it a little. The egg will cook fast in the hot broth. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
If you're in the area, try Soy Tofu. It's in a plaza with a Korean market and many other restaurants. There's usually plenty of parking in the public lot.“

“Strongly recommended. If you want to experience a premium Korean BBQ restaurant in Irvine, I strongly recommend this one. It’s slightly more expensive but worth the price. Pork belly and Kimchi noodle(cold) is by far the best ones in this area.“

“So does your policy of a minimum of 2 people eating extend to senior citizens who may not have anyone to dine with???? Shame on you for turning away a paying customer…“

“On a Sunday afternoon, this place was empty O_0 I came here with a party of four people, so we got to share three orders of meat and enjoy the rice that comes after the meal.I would say the food here is very enjoyable. The grill is circular, almost like a small hill. The kimchi and bean sprouts were cooking on the perimeter to soak up the fat dripping from the meat cooking in the center of the grill. The service is great because they cook for you!! I definitely recommend getting the pork belly. The ribeye is more pricy, but it's worth it.Parking is ample in their lot that they share with Kaju Tofu (which is another great soontofu place btw). They're a walk away from the Target on the I5/91 fwy.“

“We usually go there for halal BBQ. It seems like the dinner price went up to $42 or $46 . And now they also placed some time restrictions on order .
One thing they should let the customer know about the floor. It was very slippery.
Overall we love the food and enjoyed with family !“

“I know there is a long wait time. But trust me, this is worth a wait. Place has the top notch all you can eat with so many varieties. But what it makes the perfection is the customer service of the wonderful servers. Although they are very very busy running around but their service will leave smiles on your face.“

“I've been a fan of this Korean BBQ spot for a while, but today's experience was outstanding! Not only is the food consistently good, but the service was phenomenal. Our server, Evan, went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect, and the manager checked in to ensure everything was good. This is the best Korean BBQ in Orange County. Highly recommended!

“First time there for Sunday lunch. Attentive crew, dim lighting, fresh meats, good variety of beef, chicken and pork, cuttlefish and shrimp too. Great service throughout. Wish there were vegetables and fish for grilling. Please offer veggie and fish options. Way better than Sunday Brunch for the price. Lots of other rooms to accommodate groups of 6-45 guests. We prefer the more open, spacious main dining room. Will certainly make it back there.“
“The side dishes and giblets seasoning were so delicious, and the unglazed cuts were easy to eat, and the water sashimi was also a delicacy.“

“Okay when you first walk in it kinda looks like nothing but when you try their food it was amazing and delicious! I dunno what kinda sweet and spicy start they gave me on the table on the beginning but me and my friend kept asking for more and devouring it with the meats! It was soo good and I have no idea what it’s called ? and then the pork belly!! The thinly sliced ones oh my gosh those were my favorite, I personally love fattier meats so that one I’d keep eating but it’s also not for everyone cuz my friend did not like but to each their own! They also got their buffet line of more meats so you’re never gunna go hungry or have to wait ??♀️“
“I don't know if I had high expectations or if the chef didn't show up during lunch time, but I was recommended cold noodles and pork cutlet, but I think they were below average.
The overall atmosphere was good and the side dishes were delicious, but the main dish was lacking. The taste of galbi cold noodles cannot be missed, but the ribs seem to have lost their flavor and the cold noodles leave a lot to be desired.
The soybean paste stew was really bad.
I don’t know how to make this soybean paste stew.
It can't be without taste @.@
The servers are friendly and the service is good.“

“So bomb & amazing prices! Might even be the best priced Korean bbq restaurant in Orange County. Super popular, waited quite a bit to get in (but then you’ll get that with almost any Korean BBQ spot during busy hours etc). Got the A menu which was the least expensive, super satisfied!“

“average kbbq, not all meats are good, but some are decent. i don’t recommend the brisket nor the serious eats - very tough and dry. go for the beef belly. the don’t rub me off is decent - good seasoning, just lots of fat.
for the price $37 for weekend lunch ayce kbbq, it’s ok. there are better kbbq places around.
menu online is different than menu in person“

“Some of the best all you can eat BBQ in the area! Wait times are relatively shorter compared to other spots we we're trying to dine to. And the food is simply delicious! There a beautiful atmosphere inside and the liveliness of the dining area and you hear various foods cooking on your table and others simply makes for a unique one of a kind experience.“

“Excellent! My first time eating "real" Korean BBQ. I met a friend of mine at this location for lunch. We got the premium menu. All I can say is "wow"! The service was excellent, the food was great quality and I ate myself into a food coma... Just trying everything! So many delicious meats and sides to choose from. The service was spot on. Everything I needed was brought to me at just the right time, without even asking. My drink never ran low, my grill never over used and my plates always replinished. My favorites were the wagyu beef, the kimchi fried rice, the dumplings and the salad. Second favorite meat was the longbone beef. Would definitely recommend. Great experience.“
