“We were here for the X-JAMM Elements of Sound event during NAMM 2019. I bought our tickets because of Devin Townsend, but we were both excited to see Larry Mitchell, OHM (guitar god Chris Poland) and Larry Mitchell perform live, as well. I had no idea what to expect from the venue itself; I bought tickets two days before the show and was super disappointed by our placement. We were in the front row, but sitting at stage right. I thought for sure I'd miss a lot because I am so vertically challenged. Turns out I had no reason to despair. Our seats were practically on stage. They set up a small row of seats where the pit would live (in another, non-seated venue). We had up-close views of all performers, and the audio was expertly mixed to allow us to experience the music in all its glory. We were shown to our seats right when we checked in, and instantly had one of the friendliest waitresses at our side, asking for our drink and/or food orders. We both asked for a Guinness and told her we might order food later (it's not food from the restaurant next door if you're curious; they only serve stadium-type items). She came back empty-handed, apologizing profusely that the bar was out of Guinness. We changed our orders, and let her know it was totally fine, but she was so sweet and I could tell she felt bad. She made it a point to check on us throughout the night (we did end up sharing an order of $8 nachos to go with our $8 beers; at least she hooked us up on the cheese sauce), making sure not to bother us while a performance was actually happening. Now that I know that this place exists, I'll keep an eye on their events calendar. I liked how easy it was to get there, and how friendly the staff was. I just know to plan to eat dinner ahead of time, to save money.“

“This is a hidden gem definitely one of the most affordable taco places and very delicious foood too. I definitely recommend they open early as well which is great. 10/10 I will definitely be coming here form now they also have a special for everyday of the week days mon-Friday which of course Tuesday is taco Tuesday and tacos are just 99 cents. “I went to get tortillas and two ladies were very rude for no reason. I buy tortillas here at least 3 times a week or more and it's always great service but yesterday was horrible. The lady mopping told me not to walk in which I did not I waited at the entrance door because she was mopping but she was very snappy and rude she did not greet me or say buenas tardes nothing. The other lady at the register was also rude she gave me cold tortillas and when I asked if she had warm ones she snapped and said that's all they have from yesterday with a bad attitude. If they don't want to work there they need to find a job where they will be happy. Us the customers dont have the need to deal with their messed up attitudes. Every one else there the young men and young lady are nice and well mannered/cashiers. I was shocked because I have always had good service but not yesterday. I will keep going because the tortillas are good and my family likes them but the owner or managers need to know because that was not okay.“

“An Extraordinary Hidden Gem in Whittier!

I hosted my mother's 80th birthday celebration at this aesthetically, beautiful restaurant about three weeks ago, and let me tell you our guests are still raving about it! This place is truly a hidden gem in Whittier.

From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The Oaxaca-style food was outstanding, rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The dessert was a definite hit with everyone, and the ambiance was exactly what we had envisioned-warm, inviting, and perfect for such a special occasion.

Xotchil, one of the owners, was an absolute pleasure to work with-professional, extremely accommodating, and incredibly responsive to every question and request I had. Her team-Liz, Ines, and Raul-were equally amazing: friendly, attentive, and very professional throughout the entire event.

We were also grateful that the owners allowed us to bring in a Mariachi band, a Dueto band, and even a photo booth to make the night even more memorable. It was truly a magical and heartfelt evening, and I couldn't be more thankful for how everything came together.

This milestone celebration meant so much to our family, and choosing this venue was one of the best decisions I made. Thank you to the entire team for your excellent service and for helping create such a beautiful and unforgettable memory for my mother and all of us!“
