“Everything you order is done to perfection by Joel, a great chef. Monica treats everyone very special and remembers everyone's name. You can have taco specials on Tuesdays, and beef ribs on Thursdays. Comes with corn, potato, and cornbread made by Monica. Might not be able to finish it all. They have excellent breakfasts, hamburgers, pizza, and deserts, also. Don't miss any opportunity to enjoy this local hangout.”

“Tropicali in Big Bear was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with friendly smiles and outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and their positive attitude made the whole experience even better.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with quality and care, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. It’s not often you find a place that delivers both incredible food and exceptional customer service, but Tropicali does exactly that.

If you’re visiting Big Bear or live in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. Great food, amazing workers, and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. I’ll definitely be coming back!

“Best pecan pie of my life. I’ve had about 12 different pies from here from multiple visits and they’ve all been fantastic. And the French onion soup pie (not sure of the official name) was unique and beautiful.”

“What a groovy little spot! We stopped in after a ride at the ranch and enjoyed ourselves here. A lot of really kooky cool eye candy on the walls and everywhere. Cozy and small. Outdoor patio if it’s not too cold. Heidi and Chuck are the greatest! Very friendly and helpful and made our visit extra special. BJ’s has been around so long I find that fabulous!

I started with a glass of red and moved onto a rolling rock and they’ve got very decent prices. I had the Rueben sandwich and the sauce on. It was just lovely! It was cooked nicely and came out very hot which was great! My only complaint is there wasn’t nearly enough meat in it. I tasted mostly bread but with a little more meat that would’ve been perfection. The coleslaw has a nice twist instead of mayo. They use balsamic vinegar! Tart but lovely! Will definitely be back!”

“10/10 Stars all around! This place is a vibe! We had the pleasure of stopping for lunch at Moon Ridge coffee Company, and it did not disappoint. My 10-year-old would like me to be sure to mention that his hibiscus lemonade was incredible. My family of four each had a different sandwich and they were all delicious and there was no skimping on any of the ingredients. The people were friendly and service was great. Highly recommend!”

“This has to be the best burger, wings and fries I’ve ever had. Establishment is pet friendly and their outdoor area has amazing views of the lake. I got the OG burger, the garlic fries and 6 mango habanero wings. Each thing was perfect.
This is going to become our must have spot when in big bear without a question.”

“I can't say enough good about this place I gave them a very short notice I was bringing 35 people there and they pulled it off perfectly, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating even with our wild bunch of kids running all over the place. Their prices are good and the food was great! I couldn't get enough of the jalapeno mango hot wings. I really like the atmosphere and will make this place my new go to for gathering.”

“I LOVE THIS PLACE. I was raised in a hispanic dominated area and moved away from it. This shop feels like a piece of home and my culture due to their not being many authentic hispanic treats 🍬! Their mangonadas and esquites are my fav ! Love yall”

“This is a hidden gem. If you're driving into Big Bear stop for lunch or breakfast on the way. No problem parking and you will feel very welcome. Food is excellent and much cheaper than you will find farther in toward the center of town. It is family run and feels like it with excellent personal service. Burgers are great as is everything else I've ever tried on the menu. Indoor seating as well as a great back patio away from the traffic noise. Enjoy!”
