“Everything you order is done to perfection by Joel, a great chef. Monica treats everyone very special and remembers everyone's name. You can have taco specials on Tuesdays, and beef ribs on Thursdays. Comes with corn, potato, and cornbread made by Monica. Might not be able to finish it all. They have excellent breakfasts, hamburgers, pizza, and deserts, also. Don't miss any opportunity to enjoy this local hangout.”

“best place we ate on our vacation in big bear. excellent outdoor patio space overlooking the lake that's dog friendly, rad staff, and the food and drinks were delicious. the menu is large so make sure you look online ahead of time and plan, because all ordering is done at kiosks inside and with the line snaking behind you, you feel the pressure to pick quickly. service is super quick, our food and drinks were out fast and the atmosphere, decoration, and vibes were impeccable. highly recommend to anyone looking for a great spot to eat.”

“Best pecan pie of my life. I’ve had about 12 different pies from here from multiple visits and they’ve all been fantastic. And the French onion soup pie (not sure of the official name) was unique and beautiful.”

“We went camping near Big Bear, and found Murray's because they have karaoke. We ended up going all 4 nights of our stay after our daytime activities were finished. The karaoke host Russ is a super fun friendly guy, and all the bar/food staff were so friendly and welcoming. By our 4th night there it was like we'd known these people for years. We were sad to leave. They also have probably the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had in my life.”

Owners are the best. Chuck cooks the best burgers around and Heidi is always welcoming and gives phenomenal service. Chili is a staple too!

It is a locals place and we love it for that. Slightly off the beaten path. Tons of character. And the beer IS COLD! The deck is open in the summer and the wood stove is kicking in the winter.”

“I will start this by saying if we could give more than 5 stars for service we absolutely would!! Janet! She is simply a gift. From the second we opened the front door her beautiful energy welcomed us so wholeheartedly. Her smile, her personality and her patience hearing out our special dietary needs were all above and beyond any expectations we could have had. We travel a lot and not only dine out but have worked extensively in F&B for decades. Janet sets the bar and she sets it high! We cannot wait to get back to Big Bear to go hug her at Bennys!”

“10/10 Stars all around! This place is a vibe! We had the pleasure of stopping for lunch at Moon Ridge coffee Company, and it did not disappoint. My 10-year-old would like me to be sure to mention that his hibiscus lemonade was incredible. My family of four each had a different sandwich and they were all delicious and there was no skimping on any of the ingredients. The people were friendly and service was great. Highly recommend!”

“This has to be the best burger, wings and fries I’ve ever had. Establishment is pet friendly and their outdoor area has amazing views of the lake. I got the OG burger, the garlic fries and 6 mango habanero wings. Each thing was perfect.
This is going to become our must have spot when in big bear without a question.”

“We stopped into Abbys Cafe in Yucaipa,California for breakfast and had a great tasting experience! \nFor starters the restaurant was sparkling clean with a fresh,welcoming look along with large comfortable booths.\nOur server,Lisa G.,was friendly,brought menus rite away and brought us coffee promptly.\nAll the food on the menu looked great so we settled on the western omelet plate and classic eggs,potatoes,bacon,toast plate as well.\nGenerous portions,deliciously made and promptly served-whats not to like!\nThey also have vegetarian options and fresh baked pies and pastries too!\nWe've heard that Abby's Restaurant was a local favorite and well could see why!\nThey also have another Abby's in Hemet,California as well. “I can't say enough good about this place I gave them a very short notice I was bringing 35 people there and they pulled it off perfectly, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating even with our wild bunch of kids running all over the place. Their prices are good and the food was great! I couldn't get enough of the jalapeno mango hot wings. I really like the atmosphere and will make this place my new go to for gathering.”

“Blanca and Pierre's turned out to be the perfect send-off to a wonderful stay in Big Bear Lake.

Just outside the Village, it's a bit removed from the main drag — a little quieter and less crowded, which we appreciated. The food was very good, the place was cozy and charming, and the staff were warm and friendly, with smiles and plenty of coffee to keep things going.

A great find on the way home. We'd happily stop in again on our next visit!”
