“Tried Shalom Cafe for the first time today and loved it. Paul was great and gave some great recommendations. The butter chicken had so much flavor, and the homemade garlic naan was amazing. Food was ready in about 10 minutes and the customer service was excellent. They also had a few booths set up to sit and enjoy your food. Can't wait to come back and try the recommended mango lassi!“

“Had the Louisiana omelette, fish and chips, and strawberry waffle. Their waffle is super light and crispy unlike the usual dense and heavy waffle and everything is seasoned nicely without being overbearing. 10/10 would recommend to oversea friends not used to salty American food.“

“I came to this restaurant because it has high ratings, and it's walking distance from the Amtrak station from which I came. I ordered the Chicken Tagine, which contained both white and dark meat. The flavor of the dish was phenomenal. I really enjoyed it. I didn't like that the white meat was really chewy, but the dark meat was very juicy. The atmosphere didn't seem very authentic, but it was very clean and pleasant. I recommend this place.“

The owners were very attentive. I definitely want to come back and try the vegan pastrami! Only con is that it felt warm in there.“

“Absolutely loved my experience at Sweetea! The drinks were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The boba had the perfect texture, and you can really tell they put care into every drink. “Met a friend here today for coffee and a late breakfast. First ever visit. I must say this is a little gem in a business park in Rancho Cordova. We both had the lavosh roll- perfectly cooked soft boiled egg just slughtly runny, lettuce, tomato, thin sliced cucumber cilantro and feta cheese all rolled in a lavosh. Light, fresh and just enough saltiness from the feta. So delicious. I don't care for burrito breakfast rolls as I don't care for the potato that are usually in them and I find the tortilla too heavy and ever so slightly gummy. The lavosh was lighter and not gummy. I also had a cappuccino which was wonderful and piping hot just the way I like mine. Staff are friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer so I could come in more often. We will definitely come back. “If you're looking for a new cafe to try out in Citrus Heights, you have to check out Greenhouse Cafe! This place is fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough. First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. “Excellent breakfast! The bacon is thick and tasty. I ask about raisin bread everywhere’s I go, no one ever has it, this place does! The cinnamon roll was a nice size, not so large to be obscene and had a nice flavor. My husband had the house made sausage patty and biscuit. He said both were quite good, good texture and flavor. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud, and has a nice train rolling around the wall. It was decorated for Easter very tastefully. Our new favorite place!“

“My friends and I came here after checking the reviews. There were not a lot of people when we walked in. The interior is very modern and clean with some seating along the wall.

I got the Matcha Cafe which is a mix of matcha and coffee. It was really good! The matcha and coffee flavor was present, but neither one was very overpowering the other. My friends tried two of the other matcha drinks and they were raving about them too. I would love to come back and try out the other drinks the next time we do a road trip to Roseville!“

“Today we came here with our team to grab some coffee and go. My usual is a small hot latte. It was delicious. Loved the ambience in the store. Definitely will come back to sit and work. “Lianna at the counter was super helpful. She added an additional meat to my sandwich for me. She also provided me with a plastic cup and ice to go for free. The place is adorable, pretty affordable, and clean. The bathrooms were clean and nice. The bread on my sandwich was really good. Great consistency and flavor. We had sandwiches, a cherry tartlet, and a merengue roll. All were delicious. The coffee and tea we had were presented so nicely and tasted very good. We will go many miles out of our way to visit here whenever we drive through the area.“

We met the owner Gabriel; he was very kind and generous. We are visiting from Florida. As I was enjoying my gelato, all I kept thinking is that just like our vacation, I did not want this to end. “Very nice place and great food. I love the origin story of this cafe! I just truly wish there were more Latino employees in the front of the house. It feels too white and they're not the friendliest. For a cafe that draws so much inspiration from Latin-American culture, I’d love to see that reflected more in the staff, not just in the back of the house. It would be great to see Spanish-speaking staff taking orders, serving food, and interacting with customers. Hopefully in the near future :)“

I really enjoyed the hamburger from the grill although I observed an unpleasant woman working the grill acting very bluntly, bordering on disrespectful, to the to students and senior citizens as the ordered their grilled items.
