“We had not been here in awhile so we decided to try Chicha again and what a great surprise!! The food was delicious and had the taste my wife was looking for and she being Peruvian knows very well the meaning of that. If you love Peruvian food I highly recommend you head over here and check it out. The owners and staff made sure the experience was a fantastic one. They are opening a second Chicha in Midtown at the end of March. Excellent Restaurant.“
“I love the horchata boba here!! I dont like most boba places because of the black tea bitter taste they usually have. But this one doesn't have that aftertaste it is just right!Vegetarian options: Some of the jellies contain geletin. You just have to ask which ones are kosher.“
“I love a good pop of color. Walls are bright like the service and offerings. My salad was simple and nutritional, coffee was strong! I'm excited to try something new on my next visit. For folks who love supporting local this is a female owned ...black woman ? owned. Know your dollars are going to good hands.“
“The ambiance of candlelight, bright artwork, and metal music playing at a conversational level was enough to make me stay. But throw in a very vegan-friendly menu and delicious coffee and I'm swooning. This very solid first impression of Immortal Café included an oatmilk latte with Demerara brown sugar "fancy syrup" and it was quite good. I'd recommend you try it if you're down for a hint of sweetness. It was evening when we stopped by, so the food options were small bites and shareable. I tried both the potato chips (yum) and the Bertie, which was a truffle-infused fermented cashew cheese (double yum) accompanied by a seasonal preserve and crostini. The seasonal preserve was a candied orange marmalade, which elevated the whole pairing. So much deliciousness. The place is small and in a funky converted motel on the edge of Alkali Flats. I wouldn't bring a large group since the interior is more like a bar with some small seating arrangements. It is dog-friendly though with a couple of exterior tables. I'll be back to try out the Saturday vegan brunch for sure.“
“Kind bean is my favorite Ethiopian place! Every dish is fantastic. They have both vegetarian and meat options. Always tastes fresh! The Ethiopian spiced tea is so delightful on cold days, especially. Raw Kitfo is my all time favorite Ethiopian dish and their's is superb.“
“Love this place! Always a warm welcome busy place. The staff is always super nice & attentive. This is my #1 place in Roseville for breakfast & lunch. Spice your day up omelette is great! 9/10 California Benedict 10/10 I recommend getting extra hollandaise sauce. LOVE the veggie sandwich, packed with so many veggies & delicious flavors! 10/10 Fries 10/10 The loosen your belt turkey melt is awesome too! 9/10, just add avocado & it makes it a 10! They're always busy but worth the wait! Indoor & outdoor seating, always feels very clean. I've even had catering done here & the whole process is a breeze! Great food, great hospitality!“
“Excellent place to grab a meal with friends or family. The service and staff were friendly, the food delicious and large portioned, and the prices very reasonable. The atmosphere was comfy mixed with a little retro. Very fun. You should definitely give it a try.“
“Came on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. The inside was brightly lit with cute white seating. We loved the adorable bear logo throughout. The menu had your standard drinks and some specials. The desserts sounded great and wish we could try them all. We decided the magic mango, Oreo smoothie, and cookies and cream Swiss roll. The magic mango was a mango milk and was amazing! I've never thought the two could work together but it does! Our drinks came in the cutest cups with the bear lid. I'm so sad we didn't take a picture! We'll be back to try more desserts and drinks!“
“This place is really wonderful! If you are a LOTR fan, it really is worth going to take a peek. The themed drinks are cute, the food is really good, and the decorations are great.Their selection of boardgames to play while you hang out is really good!My friend and I both really enjoyed the bread on our sandwiches. I loved the polyjuice potion I had, which was lemonade and color changing magic!Later that day, we ended up buying Ticket to Ride. I was able to talk about the different games they had. When I explained how to play Ticket to Ride and showed her the pieces, she said her family would really like that game. So this was a great way to introduce people to more games!Parking: There is close paid parking in the area. I believe it was $6 for the first two hours. The first two floors are reserved, so keep going up until you see blank spaces.“
“Found Wtcr after the other independent I wanted to go to was too busy. Super good lavender latte, not too lavendery, plus a mocha half sweet was excellent too. Very nice employees, cute space and fancy pastries made in house looked too good to eat. Maybe that next time.“
“It's been over a year ago since my last visit to PAUSE. I was really pleasantly surprised - the coffee was great (I ended up having 2 mocha's) and the vibe was welcoming. The only downside is the lack of seating and tables inside. It's quite a sizable area, and they could add some additional tables and chairs and reorganize to make it more usable. That said, I am adding it to my list of go to independent coffee shops in the Fair Oaks area. They sell ONYX coffee for purchase which is an added bonus!!!“
“Some of the BEST pastries I’ve had in Sacramento. Food was well priced and the atmosphere is intimate and welcoming. Service was great. Definitely recommend stopping by for anyone who’s into Middle Eastern pastries or a quick snack/meal.“
“What a great hidden gem in downtown Sac! I stopped by after lunch, and they made an excellent Americano with great flavor that hit the spot. I always love a coffee shop with a great ambiance, and this place fits the bill. Stop in; you won't be disappointed!“
“He was outstanding. Very receptive, and the cost was fair. He set my garage up and got it going. He is such a lovely person. He came outside to find out why my garage wasn't working. He didn't charge us anything for it and turned down our gift, which was our power. He stated that it is his responsibility to look after us as his clients. He always makes it on time and is friendly.“
“Met a friend for breakfast as she loves her breakfasts! Enjoyed the veggie omelet and she devoured her order. The Easter decorations were adorable. Good service. Knew we'd hit a good spot by the large number of diners on a Friday late morning.“
“My go to lunch spot when I want something fresh, healthy, and cooked with real ingredients. My favorite is their veggie delight wrap with feta added and the turmeric sauce it comes with is just perfect. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and fresh meal.“
“This cafe has such a nice ambiance and I loved the vibe! From the decorations, the music, the furniture. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. The barista Bryce was very helpful with my choices and made good conversation. It's a little hidden gem and I hope they get more business flow their way ! :)“
“Moksa Barrel House is a collaborative mash of serving local Rocklin Moksa beers and food created by the chef/owner of Hawks restaurants.Right when I walked in, the size of the dining room threw me off. From the outside, it didn’t seem that big. But, it’s a pretty big with its high ceilings and significant square footage. Plenty of seating choices of communal long tables, high pub tables, and smaller tables made it a great option for any group size.Towards the back wall, to the far left is where beer and alcohol can be bought. To the far right is for ordering food and non alcoholic drinks. The wall menu board is hard to see while standing in line. At least for my aging eyes. But don’t fret, the QR menu codes are plastered all over the place. For the food, they give you a buzzer and will buzz ya for pickup. The lunch and dinner menu are the same, it includes fries $5-13 (a bunch of different kinds), burgers $8-13, chicken sandwiches $10-15, salads $6-12, hot dog $9, and soft serve. They even serve breakfast, starting at 7 am. Coffee & espresso drinks are served all day while the hot breakfast items stop at 11 am.I bought a hot dog. They serve Snake Rive Farm Wagyu dog on a potato bun. The dog was split grilled but was served lukewarm. I suppose the dog was hot off the grill but when they added the cold relish, chopped tomatoes, and other condiments, it must have decreased its temp. But despite that, I’m game to drop by again.“
“What a hidden gem! Great place for a sandwich and a coffee or a baked item - or all three! Inside is nice, but their patio is the best! Lots of seating and a little coffee bar building in the back, multiple fountains, a few roosters running around. What a great place to work or hang out, perfect old Fair Oaks vibe!“

Whether you’re a local resident or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal—you won’t be disappointed“
“I recently discovered this bakery and I've been back at least once a week since. The service is excellent and personal. I love a family run small business! I can see into the kitchen and see a Nonna and Poppa making my pastries and so the food is top tier. ? I especially love the Blueberry scone and a new to me treat, Gata. All the pastries, I've tasted have been wonderful (cookies, cinnamon rolls, etc)Parking: It's in a shopping plaza on a main road, but I often get parking right in front of the bakery.Kid-friendliness: My kids love their cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies.“
“Bloom is amazing! The atmosphere is very fresh clean and comfortable - staff is very nice and accommodating. You get the sense that the staff here are well taken care of and that reflects in the vibe and hospitality. They offer a lot of healthy options for those who don't eat meat, and lots of options for those who do. I ordered a salad and a coffee. The flavor of the coffee was amazing and you can taste the quality in the salad. Highly recommend.“
“I work at MSJ and went here for the first time because the prices are comparable to the hospital cafeteria and a coworker recommended them. I had the birria quesadilla and Mexican corn. Delicious!!! Let's just say I want to go there every time I work. It's taking all of my self control to eat my boring leftovers when I know such delicious food is a very short 2 min walk away.“
“This is an amazing local restaurant. The food was delicious. The staff were fun and welcoming. We loved the pets in the outdoor seating area. This is a nonalcoholic beverage location, but it looks like they make delicious drinks and have fun locally owned coffee selections. Don’t forget to add to the pet food money jar! ❤️“
“Very yummy drinks and food!! The boba drinks, both iced and frozen, were delicious! You can't go wrong with anything you order here! The staff is also very kind and more than happy to help you decide on what to order. Centrally located in Rocklin and a great place to go before the movies!“
“To emphasize what others have written: the staff is friendly; the ice cream is delicious; the prices are fair -- and the location is perfect for a post-Railroad Museum treat. Especially welcome on both a hot day and when not everyone is quite ready to get back into the car, post-museum. Much appreciated... and recommended.“
“Java Cherry in Citrus Heights is truly a hidden gem, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area. As a local family-owned business, it exudes a warmth and charm that is hard to find elsewhere.Louise, the manager, is an absolute delight. Her passion for coffee and dedication to providing exceptional service shines through in every interaction. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're always greeted with a friendly smile and genuine hospitality. The location of Java Cherry, nestled not too far from Costco, makes it a convenient stop for a delicious pick-me-up. On my recent visit, I indulged in their Peppermint Mocha, which was an absolute delight – the perfect blend of rich coffee and refreshing mint. And let's not forget about their Kahlua Cake – it was a heavenly treat that left me craving for more. What I love most about Java Cherry is its cozy atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for quiet meetings or simply unwinding with a good book. The ambiance is welcoming, with comfortable seating and a relaxed vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer.Overall, Java Cherry exceeded my expectations in every way. From the delicious drinks and treats to the exceptional service and inviting atmosphere, it's clear that this place is something special. If you find yourself in Citrus Heights, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Java Cherry. You won't be disappointed!“
“Food: The quesadilla was delicious. They were not stingy on the meat and cheese which was nice. They finish it up with mozzarella fried on the outside to give it that extra cheesy taste. Potato bisque soup was flavorful. However, since it is a bisque there are no potato chunks in it. Hands down best ice cream in Roseville.Service: Everyone was super nice and helpful. Everyone was smiling and looked happy on the job. Ambience: Nice rustic but modern feel. Lots of space to work, pull out your laptop, and have a cup of coffee or a class of wine.“
“It was our second time here. My 6 yr old loves the shave ice (Shy Guy) and second time we got him the Yoshi drink. My favorite as of right now is the Hazelnut Matcha latte with Boba & grass jelly. Perfect amt of sweetness and it's not too sweet. Def coming back!“
“Very tasty jerk chicken with rice n beans, I loved their homemade peanut dressing and their sorrel was perfectly tart! Lots of folks came in asking for their half curry half jerk plate- I'll have to try that next! check out this spot for yourself next time your at the Capitol!“
“The food, service and atmosphere was wonderful. We went out with some friends and 3 children and I loved that they were able to put us in a backroom so that we didn't feel like the kids were disturbing others. The food was delicious, and although it did not seem like a massive portion compared the Black Bear Diner, it was very filling and the Santa Fe Scramble left me wanting a nap afterwards. Although I do wish they included a little more salsa with it.“
“Pretty busy on St. Patrick's Day. The service was quick and good. Martina was very friendly. I had the chicken fried steak and it was made fresh. The steak was a bit too chewy but it was flavorful. My wife had the biscuits and gravy with two sausages and scrambled eggs. The sausages were excellent and the biscuits were moist.“
“I had a craving for pistachio Turkish delight and found my way here. I ended up getting a variety pack of goods.Baklava was solid.Turkish delight nougat stuff was fabulous (will definitely get it here moving forward when I have a craving vs. Amazon)Some of the items were just ok, but the person working there also recommended this honey soaked pastry with a cream inside (see photos) and I'm still dreaming about it, so yummy! When the weather gets warm, I'll definitely be back for the famous ice cream (I love Turkish ice cream - it was just rainy when I visited so opted for the pastry goods instead!) So great to have a sweets shop like this in Sacramento!“
“This place has great pastries and desserts. I've been several times and everything we've tried has been fantastic. I'm a big fan. There are not a lot of seating options, but so far we haven't had any trouble getting a table, even as a group of 6.“
“We went on New Year's Day and had the New Year's Day special. We had the pozole soup, beef medallions with stuffed shrimp and chocolate lava cake. Everything was excellent we enjoyed it a great deal.I especially appreciated everything being delivered piping hot to the table. I thought the beef medallions were the star of the show. My husband especially liked the shrimp. The pozole soup was the best we've ever had.The desert was presented beautifully.Service was also very good, the best we have seen anywhere in a long time.“
“If you're looking for a nice, relaxing vibe in a coffee shop, Shady Coffee and Tea is a great spot! They have a few seating options inside & out. They also keep the music at a level conducive to conversation & studying. The plants give it a nice touch as well. It's kind of like a "come over and hang in my back patio" homey feel. The staff is friendly, helpful, and thorough! My friend's Chai was "too Chai" for her and they quickly took care of it for her. I also had questions about the place such as, are they open to community events (art classes), what type of power sources they have, etc. All of my questions were answered and I was given the owner's email address. By the way, they have several power sources inside and only one outside. I'd recommend charging your devices and bringing a backup power source, just in case. Check it out!“
“Very nice cafe, very good relaxing music in the background, almost everywhere there are sockets for your devices, very friendly staff, employee Selina is very friendly, it’s very nice to come to you, thank you, if you want a great day, come here ?“
“Franco and his wife are awesome. They take care of me every time, even if I'm an hour late for breakfast. Brought my friend and his dog last time, and the wife brought out extra bacon for the pupper! Couldn't be nicer people if they tried. When I first saw the prices at Francos, I thought the menu must be ten years old. It's not. I actually called and checked. Still couldn't believe it.As for the food itself, you will not find a more perfectly cooked dish this side of grandma's house. It's amazing. We love you guys, Franco!“
“We highly recommend Chef Janet as she catered my Retirement Birthday Oktoberfest \\u0026 all the guests are still raving about her food! We think her pork schnitzel is the best we have had anywhere \\u0026 her fabulous German Chocolate Cake to end the meal was impressive! Her caring attitude \\u0026 special service is truly \\\"Catering by Design!!\\\"“
“It's good diner food. Nothing fancy, but very tasty. I had the two egg combo with no complaints. The staff are what makes it five star though. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. They were flexible with my order and special requests. While I was paying for my order an elderly man next to me said he forgot his wallet and the cashier took care of it without batting an eye. These are really good people.“
“I don't see how there could be anything less than 5 stars for this place. I'm angry though. Angry I didn't try it sooner! Quite literally the best breakfast burrito I've ever had in my life. No BS. Wow. Great job to the ladies working hard to make the gold standard of breakfast burritos. I'll be back!“
“As of last year, my team and I have been coming to Bayside Cafe for our regular meetings. What we love about the place is the comfortable chairs, great coffee and pastries, and the overall atmosphere! Located right off of Sierra college blvd and near Douglas which makes it very convenient. Being a businessman and always on the go, it is nice to find a great place for meetings.“
“Get yourself here to try some of the delectable gelato flavors. Each one we tried was delicious and we can't wait to get back to try more. They also offer banana splits, shakes, and affogatos. The coffee used for the affogato was not my favorite (but the gelato more than made up for it). Keeping the 5 stars since it was good, but I'm just kind of a coffee snob (went to coffee tasting classes and brew small batch, freshly ground beans in a French press daily). Overall, great service and ambience with good quality product. Highly recommend.“
“Nice of them to help out the left handed path of Christ lesser than the lowest of low just like Francis and Clare of Assisi. " without comparing to Kenya of course" such a delicate walk through hell. So Congratulations to all and Thank you. I can tell the Holy Spirit is all over this Village Roseville people ...“
“I always get a very pleasant customer service here. The prices here for anything you buy are way reasonable than anywhere else. You can shop almost everything here. They have special Persian bread Lavash and you can buy Persian pastries here and they taste good, you can find if you ask for it. The kababs here are up to the mark and tasty. You can order anything on phone and they will bring it for you.“
“My Dad took me to breakfast there recently. I was quite surprised when we entered the cafe..it had a warm, welcoming atmosphere and felt very comfortable. I had a huge meat omelet, hashbrowns were great and I definitely will be going back sometime soon!“
“A gem of an establishment in Rancho Cordova. Golden Bean is a delicious spot for breakfast and lunch as well as coffee! Delicious sandwich, salads and soup options. They also have various favorites for vegetarians as well as meat lovers. Whether you're craving a healthy salad, a cold sandwich or a warm panini, this place is a great option for you. My husband and his staff went here for lunch the other day and they truly enjoyed their experience! Great customer service, quality food and I cannot recommend this place enough.“
“We frequent Kathrin’s Biergarten often but this was our first Oktoberfest and it didn’t disappoint. What a great time Kathrin and her staff does bringing a little Braveria to the region. Great food and beer as usual and the entertainment was excellent. Thank you Sassen for you great service!“
“My kids love the place. I am not a fan of cereal but they have a few other options. Price is reasonable and they have lots of games that kids can play. The ambiance is nice and family friendly or a cute random date night. Service was good. Chocolate shake was to die for. It included two of my favorite desserts. I did share with my entire family because it was a lot of sugar. We will be back again.“
“Visited this place for the first time last week. The food was delicious, I had the Crab Cake Benedict and tried Gras Beignets for the first time. The server was very kind, making sure to check up on me and mine often for refills. Overall a very warm and friendly place to enjoy a meal. I hope to come back soon.“
