“Big Boss Cafe is without a doubt the best sandwich I've had in probably a decade. When I first took a bite I instantly felt as if I was transported back in time to my early childhood. Memories of to when I would get a turkey sandwich and go to the park with friends.In the past decade since the recession Ive seen every sandwich restaurant I love decrease the quality of their bread in order to maintain high profit margins. Stale bread, cooked the nights before or shipped in on trucks and stored in freezers, full of low quality grains and almost flavorless by the time its put onto a sandwich. I feel like we've become accustomed to bread just kind of tasting bland.But here bread was fresh, and full of strong flavor. It is in a little mall with parking our front. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. “So I usually go to LaBou when at work but decided to stop here for lunch as people have been bragging about the cafe. I went inside the building and noted it's secure. Must show security your state badge for access and if not a state employee you can sign the visitor log. Walked into the cafe and was a bit lost lol. I looked at the menu to find something to eat. I learned the salads are in the refrigerator and are fresh. Cash registers are in the middle toward the exit area. Staff were friendly and guided me because I was confused lol. My salad was sooo affordable and way cheaper than LaBou. I went back to my building to eat but you can eat in the cafeteria. When I ate my salad, I was sooo impressed by the freshness of everything and was full. I'm definitely coming back when in the office and bringing my peers with me. Can't wait to come back.“

My favorite sandwiches are the number 16 the palms and the Excalibur. The palms on Dutch crunk or the sweet roll is turkey cream cheese all the veggies and bomb sauce and avocado. I added the ghost pepper cheese to it and jalapeños " OMGOSH " delicious! Same for the Excalibur! Dutch bread or sweet roll - Only it had the cranberry sauce and cream cheese- no avocado and no bomb sauce but added the ghost pepper cheese to it " again delicious " Their chocolate chip cookies are fantastic and the best cookie I have ever had beside spunkmyher ? Most of the time it's not the morning but still anytime of day is great when the bagels are fresh like they are here. “I love Mr. Pickles sandwiches because they offer a large selection of veggies unlike some other sandwich locations. If you ask, you can add cucumbers to your sandwiches as well. They are pretty small, though at this location! Not too much space for sitting and parking outside. The food quality is always delicious and fresh. I say four stars instead of five only because they usually take quite a while to prepare the sandwiches, even though they aren't very busy. So just be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes for your sandwich!“
