“Fabulous donuts. There’s a reason this place has been around for so long. My wife and I have passed this shop many times and never went in until today and we have been missing out! The interior is a fun retro feel with a down to earth atmosphere. Vicky was so incredibly nice and made the experience. We will be coming back soon!“

A good bagel lox/gravlax/smoked salmon and cream cheese combo is one of my favorite breakfast foods and La Marea did not disappoint with the Scandi. One of the best I’ve had. The crunch of the sourdough bagel (with caraway dill) really brought it home. The pistachio latte was a perfect balance of flavor and not overly sweet like you get at a ⭐🦌. I may need to grab a slice of their pizza before we head out.“

“Love the Bagelry. Locals will tell you they either love it or hate it. The bagels here are definitely not 'traditional' in the NY sense, but I think that's part of the attraction. The Bagelry's bagels are unique; small and dense but chewy and flavorful; giving them the character that has helped make the Bagelry a Santa Cruz institution for decades“

Their bagle with Hummus, sprouts & tomato is delicious, they remember my order & name when I walk in (who doesn't enjoy feeling special), all the employees are just great. “i thought it would be just another bagel shop but this place is actually really good the bagels are fresh and have that perfect chewy texture on the inside. their veggie cream cheese was super flavorful and not too thick or greasy, liked it alot more than I expected. the service was friendly even though they got my order wrong at first but they fixed it pretty quick so no big deal I just wish the coffee was a little stronger kinda tasted watered down. the place is nothing fancy just a basic counter with a few tables but honestly who cares when the food is this solid and the prices are fair. definately worth a stop if youre passing through Artois or need a quick bite thats filling without being expensive.“

“My family and I are passing through while going to visit some family and we stopped for a quick breakfast. Let me tell you this place has amazing food. We were all shocked by how delicious every burrito and sandwich are and the donuts were even better.

“Lovely cafe!! The baristas are great at their jobs. My barista, I think their name was Isabel? Was so nice, explained all the unique drinks to me (I settled on a whiskey latte, which has like a whiskey syrup, n/a) and did beautiful foam art. Definitely coming here again!“

Simple, cute, clean, and charming. Had good service from the same nice gentleman both times I was there.
